After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1515: Chapter 1519: I Accept Your Challenge

Luo Xiaoqian slowly walked up to the podium, smiling as she glanced around at everyone, her gaze landing on Seo Fei sitting in the front row. Her eyes lingered briefly, and meeting her gaze, Seo Fei did not look away, with a hint of provocation and some pride in her eyes.

Luo Xiaoqian calmly looked away and sat down in her chair, ”Good morning, everyone. Today, the main purpose is to brief you all about the various situations in Emperor View over the past month.”

Beside her, Chu Fan opened the documents in his hand and began to report on the performance and other various data from the past month to everyone.

After a moment, Chu Fan finished reading the report, and Luo Xiaoqian spoke once again, ”Does anyone have any questions?!”

”I do!” Seo Fei stood up from her chair, ”I have some concerns about the future development of Emperor View. I personally believe that Leng Zimo, without the board’s consent, transferring shares so easily to others is extremely irresponsible to Emperor View. As a shareholder, considering Emperor View’s future, I have decided not to stand by any longer.”

”So?!” Luo Xiaoqian asked.

Seo Fei took a step forward, ”I want to compete for the position of President!”

Luo Xiaoqian also stood up, ”On what grounds?”

Seo Fei raised her hand, took the documents from Shanxia Junzi, and slammed them onto her table, ”Based on the 38% shares I have!”

Seo Fei originally owned 26% of the shares and later exchanged 12% from The Old Fox Xie Tianle, making up exactly 38% altogether.

Only 38%?!

Luo Xiaoqian chuckled in her heart.

As expected, that Old Fox didn’t give her the entire 15%.

”According to the relevant regulations of Emperor View’s board, the shareholder with the most shares has the right to compete for the management rights of Emperor View.” Seo Fei sneered at Luo Xiaoqian, ”So, shouldn’t you give up your seat now?!”

”Ah Jiu!” Luo Xiaoqian gently tapped her finger on the table.

Ah Jiu immediately opened the briefcase and took out a stack of documents from it, ”This is Luo Xiaoqian’s shareholding certificate. As of now, Luo Xiaoqian also owns 38% of the shares.”

Seo Fei was momentarily stunned.

In the past few days, she had been observing Luo Xiaoqian, watching Emperor View’s stocks.

The stocks were volatile only on Friday night, which proved she was taking some action. Then, the stock price remained stable, not resembling any manipulation. Seo Fei had thought at the time that Luo Xiaoqian surely ran out of money, so she stopped acquiring.

Seo Fei knew that the 10% from Leng Zirui and Qin Lan could surely be acquired, but she could only squeeze out at most tens of millions from her end, which wasn’t even enough for 1% of the stocks. In her estimation, Luo Xiaoqian could at most acquire 37% of the shares, so where did the money for that remaining 1% come from?!

After a brief astonishment, Seo Fei regained her composure, ”Then let’s take advantage of today’s shareholders’ meeting for a fair competition!”

Even if she had acquired the same amount of shares as herself, so what? These days, she had visited many shareholders and earned a lot of recognition and Xie Tianle’s support. Could she really not compete against Luo Xiaoqian?

Beside her, Ah Jiu stepped forward.

Luo Xiaoqian raised her hand, signaling him not to say more. She just smiled and looked at the shareholders in front of her, saying, ”Emperor View has always been fair. Since you believe you have enough ability to take over Emperor View, then I accept your challenge!”
