After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1503: Chapter 1507: Do You Know Miss Luo Xiaoqian?

After finishing the last spoonful of soup in the bowl, Mo Bei put down his chopsticks and picked up a napkin to wipe the soup stains from the corners of his lips.

”Jiao Yang, I’ve made my decision.”

”Decided what?!” Jiao Yang looked up in confusion.

”I’ve decided to save you from the sea of misery. A good man like you deserves a love of your own.” Mo Bei said seriously.

Jiao Yang smiled slightly, ”You should think about saving yourself first!”

”Anyway, I’ve decided. I won’t stop until I find you a good woman!” Mo Bei raised his hand to take his bowl, ”Consider it a repayment for sheltering me!”

Jiao Yang chuckled, got up, and returned to his room, treating her words as a young girl’s joke.

Right now he was less concerned about himself and more about how to perfect his plan to acquire Luo Xiaoqian’s company.

After all, acquiring a company is simple, but running one is difficult.

He didn’t have the energy to manage it right now. If he acquired it and the company went bankrupt, wouldn’t that waste all of Luo Xiaoqian’s hard work over the years?!

However, seeing her in trouble, how could he just stand by?!

Sitting behind the desk, Jiao Yang fell into deep thought.

At this moment, his phone suddenly rang.

”Are you President Jiao? I’m Shangguan Yanhuang, sorry to disturb you so late.” Shangguan Yanhuang’s voice was very polite, ”May I ask if you know Miss Luo Xiaoqian?!”

There were also business dealings between Shangguan Yanhuang and Asia View, so even though Jiao Yang couldn’t call him a friend, they were at least acquaintances.

”What do you need her for?”

”I heard her company is up for sale. My company is looking to expand into new ventures soon. Since we’ve done quite a bit of business with Asia View and Emperor View, I’m interested in acquiring this company,” Shangguan Yanhuang said.

Jiao Yang was secretly pleased. If he waited for his funds to come through, it would take until at least Monday, and over the years, Yan Huang Company had made notable progress in the entertainment industry, developing quite well in this sector. If Yan Huang Company could take over LL, it would undoubtedly benefit the company’s future development.

”If that’s the case, I can arrange a meeting with her for you to discuss in detail!”

”Great, thank you. Give me a call as soon as you have any news,” Shangguan Yanhuang thanked him politely and then hung up the phone.

Jiao Yang glanced at the time; it was already ten o’clock at night. At this time, Xiao Qian was probably asleep, right?!

After hesitating for a moment, he decided to make the call.

Unexpectedly, the call was quickly connected, and on the other end, Luo Xiaoqian’s voice was wide awake.

”Jiao Yang, what’s up?!”

Staying up so late must be due to being busy with things related to Emperor View, right?!

Jiao Yang felt a pang in his heart, ”Oh, it’s about your company being up for sale. I have a business partner interested in acquiring it. When are you available? I can arrange for you both to meet.”

”Really?!” Luo Xiaoqian’s tone was filled with joy. Right now, she was in dire need of money, so if the company could be sold smoothly, it would undoubtedly be a tremendous piece of good news. ”I’m free anytime; you set the time and place!”

”Then, how about lunch tomorrow?”

”Sure, my treat!” Luo Xiaoqian immediately agreed, ”Jiao Yang, thank you.”

”I’m just playing matchmaker, it’s no trouble at all.” Jiao Yang held the phone hesitantly, ”It’s getting late, rest early. See you tomorrow!”

”See you tomorrow!” Luo Xiaoqian briskly hung up the phone.
