After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 995: Chapter 999: Granting You a Grand Wedding

Luo Jun hung his little head, his tone filled with frustration, ”It’s the kids in my class, they say I don’t have a dad and that I’m illegitimate.”

Xu Xia immediately burst out angrily, ”Those ill-mannered kids, how are their parents teaching them! I’ll go settle accounts with them tomorrow!”

”Xu Xia!” Luo Xiaoqian reminded her, turning the little guy to face her, raising her hand to cradle his little face, ”Mo Mo, listen carefully, even though Mom and Dad haven’t had a wedding, our marriage is legitimate. You’re definitely not illegitimate. What others say is their business. No matter what anyone says, it can’t change the fact that you’re the legal child of your parents!”

Luo Jun gently nodded, ”And when Dad comes back, you’ll hold the wedding again, right?”

”Right!” Luo Xiaoqian affirmed with a nod, ”We’ll have a grand wedding then, and you can join in too.”

Luo Jun immediately nodded excitedly, ”Then I’ll invite all the kids from my class so they can know I have a dad, I’m not illegitimate!”

”Alright!” Luo Xiaoqian patted his little head, ”Let’s eat.”

The little guy had already turned to continue eating, while the adults at the table, except for John, were each immersed in their own emotions.

As he watched Luo Xiaoqian’s profile, Leng Zimo made a decision in his heart.

After dinner, Xu Xia took the little guy to play in the small garden outside, and John helped Luo Xiaoqian clean up the dishes while Leng Zimo exited through the back door to the garden, approaching Xu Xia who was watching the little guy play.

”What kind of person is Mo Mo’s father?”

”He...” Xu Xia pursed her lips, carefully choosing her words, ”He’s actually a good person, it’s just due to some special reasons that he separated from Sissi.”

A good person?!

A good person would let his woman leave with a child?!

Leng Zimo frowned slightly, ”Do you know where he is now?”

He didn’t mind Luo Xiaoqian’s past, having previously thought Luo Xiaoqian was divorced. Now it seemed the child’s birth and upbringing might be unknown to that man.

Thinking of that bastard causing her so many years of hardship, he was already furious.

”I... I don’t know either.” Xu Xia didn’t dare say more, seeing the little guy accidentally fall, she immediately jogged over to help him up from the ground, ”Mo Mo, shall we play a shooting competition?”

Xu Xia continued playing with the little guy until almost nine o’clock before reluctantly saying goodbye.

”Let John take you back!” Luo Xiaoqian escorted her to the door, Xu Xia glanced towards the direction of the stairs, confirmed that Leng Zimo had not followed but was upstairs taking care of the little guy, and pulled Luo Xiaoqian aside eagerly, ”When do you plan to tell him the truth? He asked me about Luo Jun’s dad just now, I almost died from the tension!”

”Dr. Yin will come over in a few days, then we’ll see if we can help him regain his memory. For now, you should keep a low profile around him.” Luo Xiaoqian said.

”That’s good.” Xu Xia sighed with relief, ”I’ll head out now, call me anytime if anything comes up.”

She was escorted to the car, John was reminded to be careful on the way before Luo Xiaoqian waved her off, watching Xu Xia leave.

Luo Xiaoqian turned back to the living room and saw Leng Zimo standing in the hallway, looking at her deeply.

”I want to give you a wedding that every woman in the world will envy!”
