After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 984: Chapter 988: It’s That ’White Moonlight

”At the moment, there’s no issue, it’s just that his emotions were too agitated, causing insufficient blood supply to the brain, which led to dizziness. It’s nothing serious.” Shen Yizhou’s gaze fell suspiciously on Luo Xiaoqian’s face, ”What piece did you play for him to get him so worked up?!”

Luo Xiaoqian raised her face to meet his gaze, ”It’s nothing special, just... just that song ’White Moonlight’...”

Five years ago, when Luo Xiaoqian participated in the ”Huaxia Idol” competition, she cut her heart finger because of this piece and was sent to him for medical treatment by Tong Ya. That’s why Shen Yizhou had a deep impression of this song as well.

Shen Yizhou saw the hesitation in her eyes and didn’t ask further, just put down the instruments and supported Leng Zimo’s arm, ”Come on, I’ll help you up, remember to move slowly.”

Luo Xiaoqian assisted him in helping Leng Zimo up, they walked into the bedroom across the way, settled Leng Zimo onto the bed, and Luo Xiaoqian went to the bathroom to fetch a towel to wipe the water off his face.

”To be on the safe side, it’s best to take some time to go to the hospital for a check-up.” Shen Yizhou mentioned his toolbox, ”If there’s nothing else, I’ll be on my way.”

”Let me see you out.” Luo Xiaoqian quickly moved to accompany him out.

The two of them went upstairs together, out the door, and Shen Yizhou stopped.

”What’s the matter with Zimo’s amnesia?”

”It’s... it’s because I had a hypnotist hypnotize him, I... I just wanted to stir up his memory just now, I didn’t expect such a strong reaction.” Luo Xiaoqian bit her lip, ”Doctor Shen, is he... really okay?”

”No wonder, he’s been complaining of headaches these past few years.” Shen Yizhou sighed, ”I don’t know much about hypnosis and psychology, you should consult the original hypnotist, and before getting a definitive answer, it’s best not to overly stimulate him. For now, Zimo’s health seems fine, but you should know, for someone like him, his body is always under extreme stress every day, I’m worried his body won’t withstand it.”

”I know.” Luo Xiaoqian pressed her lips together, ”I was too impatient.”

”Xiao Qian!” Shen Yizhou raised his hand, resting it on her shoulder, ”I understand how you feel, I can see that even though he doesn’t remember those past events right now, from the way he feels about you, those memories definitely still exist in his subconscious. It’s only a matter of time before he remembers you.”

Luo Xiaoqian nodded gently, ”Thank you, Doctor Shen.”

”We’re all friends, no need for such formality!” Shen Yizhou smiled, ”I just recently bought a house nearby for my parents to retire, and today just happened to be nearby, otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to come so quickly. Given the current situation, it seems alright, but the next time he has some free time, it’s best to take him for another check-up just to be safe. It’s getting late, so I’ll head out now. In the future, if you need anything, feel free to reach out. I hate it when people are formal with me. Once I handle Tong Ya, remember to give me a big red envelope.”

”Okay!” Luo Xiaoqian smiled and stepped back, ”Drive safely.”

Watching Shen Yizhou leave, she went back upstairs to find Leng Zimo getting ready to get out of bed.

”Why are you getting up?” Luo Xiaoqian hurried over, holding his shoulder, ”Lie down quickly, I’ll help you with whatever you need.”

”Anything?” he asked with a smile.
