After rejecting my celebrity husband

”Xiao Qian, what’s the matter?”

On the other end of the phone, Shen Yizhou’s voice quickly sounded.

”Zimo fainted, I... what should I do...” Luo Xiaoqian asked with a sob.

This is a remote suburban area, calling an ambulance would only waste time. She didn’t know what the best first aid method was at the moment.

”Don’t panic, stay calm, tell me exactly what happened?” Shen Yizhou said comfortingly on the phone.

”I was just playing the piano for him, and as he listened, he fainted.”

”Where are you?”

”At his lakeside villa.”

”Try to stimulate the philtrum, or spray some cold water on his face, don’t move him for now. I’m not far from you, I’m driving over right now, don’t worry, he’ll be fine!”

”Okay!”

Luo Xiaoqian put down the phone and immediately followed Shen Yizhou’s instructions, pinching Leng Zimo’s philtrum with her fingers until her fingers hurt, but he still didn’t wake up. In a panic, she stood up, rushed into a nearby room, filled a cup with cold water, and flicked it onto his face.

Leng Zimo still didn’t respond, so biting her lip, Luo Xiaoqian poured the entire cup of water onto his face.

Unexpectedly, this time it really worked.

Leng Zimo’s eyelashes fluttered, and he slowly opened his eyes.

”Zimo?!” Luo Xiaoqian put down the cup in her hand with surprise, ”How are you?!”

Leng Zimo blinked, looking at the worried Luo Xiaoqian in front of him, and then glanced at the ceiling above with confusion, ”What happened to me?!”

”You fainted.” Luo Xiaoqian watched his face with concern and cautiously wiped the water stains off his face with her palm, ”How do you feel now?”

Fainted?!

Leng Zimo frowned slightly, remembering only that his head suddenly started hurting, and he couldn’t recall anything after that.

”I’m fine!” Seeing Luo Xiaoqian’s worried expression, he propped himself up to get up.

Luo Xiaoqian quickly reached out to press down on his shoulder, ”Don’t move, Doctor Shen will be here soon. He said you shouldn’t move around right now.”

”It’s okay!” Leng Zimo smiled at her reassuringly, ”I’ll call him now and tell him not to come...”

”Leng Zimo!” Luo Xiaoqian yelled urgently, ”Can’t you just listen for once?!”

Noticing her anxiousness, he smiled and lay back down, ”Alright, I’ll listen.”

Outside the window, the sound of a car screeching to a halt could be heard.

”It must be Doctor Shen, I’ll go open the door, you stay here and don’t move!” Luo Xiaoqian instructed him and hurriedly got up to go downstairs.

Leng Zimo lay on the floor and shrugged, remaining still after all.

By this time, Luo Xiaoqian had already run downstairs, opened the door to let Shen Yizhou in, and quickly explained what had happened. Shen Yizhou then rushed into the music room with the first aid kit.

Seeing Leng Zimo, who had already regained consciousness on the floor, Shen Yizhou’s mood also lightened a bit.

”Why are you, a grown man, acting like Lin Daiyu, playing with fainting?!”

While joking, he had already crouched down, opened his toolkit, took out a stethoscope and blood pressure monitor, and prepared to examine him. With Luo Xiaoqian watching closely, although Leng Zimo felt this was an overreaction, he cooperated without resisting.

Shen Yizhou removed the stethoscope from his ears, ”145/86, the blood pressure is okay, but the heart rate is a bit fast!”

”Is there a problem?” Luo Xiaoqian asked worriedly.
