After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 991: Chapter 995: She is the best woman I have ever met

”Xiao Ding is here, I’ll walk you downstairs.”

”Shall I just take you back to change clothes?”

Luo Xiaoqian picked up the suit jacket, ”No need, I still have to tidy up the kitchen. There’s not much work today, I’ll help you tidy up the room before going over.”

The two went downstairs together, opened the door, and as expected, saw Xiao Ding waiting outside.

Seeing Luo Xiaoqian, he politely nodded at her, then walked over to take Leng Zimo’s laptop bag and jacket from her.

”Take care on the road!”

Luo Xiaoqian waved her hand at him.

But Leng Zimo directly extended his arm, wrapped it around her waist, and kissed her on the forehead as if no one else was there.

”See you tonight!”

”I might be late tonight, I have a dinner with Xu Xia from your company,” Luo Xiaoqian said quickly.

”Then let’s do it together, I haven’t seen her in a long time either,” Leng Zimo said.

”How about having her over for dinner at home, is that alright?” Luo Xiaoqian asked.

Xu Xia is a big star now, frequently photographed by paparazzi, and she’s worried it might not be safe to eat outside.

”At home”?!

Leng Zimo savored the meaning of these words, a gentle emotion naturally rising in his heart, ”Alright, let’s eat at home.”

Glancing at Xiao Ding deliberately looking away in the distance, Luo Xiaoqian raised her hand to push away the arm still hooked around her waist, ”You should get to work!”

Leng Zimo raised his hand, touching her little head, reluctantly letting her go.

”I’m leaving.”

Luo Xiaoqian walked him to the car, watched him get in and drive away, still waving at him.

Sitting in the back seat, watching her figure in the rearview mirror, Leng Zimo’s face was full of smiles.

”I finally understand now why you always go straight home after work.”

Xiao Ding smiled from the front seat, ”I salute you.”

”You seem to like her a lot?” Leng Zimo asked with a smile.

”Of course, Miss Sissi is beautiful, has a great personality, matches you perfectly, so of course, I like her,” Xiao Ding said.

”But before, you seemed to say that a single mom wasn’t suitable for me.”

Xiao Ding chuckled softly, ”Back then I hadn’t met Miss Sissi. Now that I’ve seen her in person and know she’s a good woman, I certainly won’t advise you against it anymore.”

Leng Zimo leaned back in the seat, ”She’s the best woman I’ve ever met!”

Xiao Ding smiled but remained silent.

As the car drove out of the community gate, Luo Xiaoqian had already returned to the living room, picked up her phone, and immediately dialed Dr. Yin’s number from it.

Last night, since Leng Zimo had such an episode, of course, she had to ask him about the reason. The call connected quickly, and Luo Xiaoqian briefly exchanged pleasantries with Dr. Yin before telling him about last night’s events.

”I used the method you taught me before, played a piece of music that means a lot to us, and as he listened, he fainted. The doctor said it was dizziness caused by excessive emotion,” Luo Xiaoqian paused, speaking somewhat anxiously, ”Do you think there’s still a chance for him to regain his memory?”

”Miss Luo.” Dr. Yin’s tone was somewhat serious, ”From the current situation, his memories of your past together seem to be very strong. I think there’s still a possibility of recovery, but you shouldn’t rush it. Too intense of a stimulus might be too much for his brain to handle. I have a tour course in Europe right now, which will end in about a week or two. By then, I will come to Beijing. Try to bring him to see me, and I’ll see if I can help him recover his memories. In the meantime, try to keep him calm.”
