Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

Hearing their words, Black Jack took a deep breath. ”Captain Wei’en, just name your price.”

He knew full well what a huge improvement a weapon with such a rare corrupted property could bring to the Black Pearl.

If they had these, they could guarantee the bastards on the Alanjia would suffer devastating losses.

’Just imagine twenty of these sniper rifles all aimed at Suyade, firing in unison, and triggering that instant-death property...’

Therefore, he was prepared to bleed a fortune!

”This model of sniper rifle is time-consuming and labor-intensive. It requires special materials and drains some of my own power. So, the price... is ten thousand gold pounds apiece!”

HISS!

The surrounding pirates gasped. ’One... ten thousand gold pounds apiece?!’

’Fuck, you’d barely make that much robbing a medium-sized merchant convoy, wouldn’t you?’

”It’s so expensive... I can’t even dream of owning a gun like that anymore...”

”Own one? You’ve got to be dreaming. The way you blow all your gold pounds on girls every month, you couldn’t afford a single part even if we sold you.”

”...”

Black Jack winced, filled with silent regret. ’If I’d known he could do this, I would have dragged him onto the ship by force.’ ”Ten thousand gold pounds? Are you sure?”

Wei’en nodded. ”Actually, I think the five-hundred-gold-pound model is more than enough for your needs.”

He had originally planned to multiply the price of the first model by ten and sell them for five thousand gold pounds each. But after hearing what Menor and Yuan said, he changed his mind.

’Since it’s so rare, I can’t let Black Jack and his crew get them too easily—at the very least, they can’t think this instant-death property is a dime a dozen.’

’Otherwise, I’d have a huge headache on my hands. It wouldn’t just be people wanting to buy sniper rifles; there would surely be Mutated Mages trying to get their hands on the death property itself.’

Black Jack mused, ”The five-hundred-gold-pound ones are certainly good...”

’But compared to a sniper rifle with an instant-death property, what was a five-hundred-gold-pound Rune Sniper Rifle but a piece of junk?’

It was just that the price made his heart ache.

’As far as he knew, the Black Pearl’s annual profits were only about three hundred thousand gold pounds. That was only enough to buy thirty of these sniper rifles...’

’Right, robbing a person is much more efficient...’

”I... I want one!”

Just then, Mirus spoke up, gritting his teeth. ”Captain Wei’en, for ten thousand gold pounds, I want one! I’m begging you, you have to sell one to me!”

Black Jack: ”...”

The pirates: ”...”

’Damn it, is he one of us or a shill?’

’He’s playing along too damn well. The guy says ten thousand gold pounds and you don’t even try to haggle for a discount?’

’And he’s supposed to be a pirate of the Black Pearl, the terror of the Cordo Sea—what a disgrace!’

”Um, I... I want one too...”

”Put me down for one.”

Seeing Mirus speak up, a few inconspicuous pirates in the crowd also stepped forward.

’It’s only ten thousand gold pounds. I’ll take it!’

’Worst comes to worst, I’ll just have to rob more merchant ships in the future, drink less, eat less meat, and spend less time with the girls at the tavern...’

Wei’en watched Black Jack’s expression grow darker and darker as he silently counted the pirates who had spoken up to buy one.

’Tsk, tsk. Six wealthy big shots. Not bad, not bad at all.’

”Put me down for five,” Menor chimed in. ”Wei’en, the Eternal Life Association has plenty of Extraordinaries who are skilled with firearms. I believe their strength will increase greatly once they get their hands on a Burst Sniper Rifle like this.”

”Damn you, Menor, we were here first!” Seeing this, Black Jack knew he couldn’t avoid paying a fortune. He said irritably, ”Ten! Captain Wei’en, you must prioritize selling ten of those sniper rifles with the death property to us.”

He paused, then looked at the pirates who had just spoken up and snorted. ”You bastards can buy your own. These ten are for the others.”

”Boss, don’t do this...”

”Boss...”

”Shut up! When it was time to buy supplies, every last one of you was crying about being broke. Only today do I find out how rich you all are, especially you, Mirus!”

Mirus rubbed his head and gave a dry laugh. ”Boss, I really, truly want it. It’s that important to me. I’d even give up girls for ten years...”

”Hmph!” Black Jack shot him a glare and turned back to Wei’en. ”So, do we have a deal?”

’Ten, six, five... That’s two hundred and ten thousand gold pounds...’

Wei’en was in a bit of a daze as he calculated the number. ’This money is coming in way too damn easily.’

’Compared to this, making and selling Anomaly-Suppressing Potions to the Blood Spirit School is just child’s play.’

At that thought, Wei’en rubbed his hands together and said with a beaming smile, ”No problem. There’s enough for everyone.”

”So you’ll prioritize us?”

”Jack First Officer, you’re ordering quite a few, so of course you get priority. It’s just that it might take some time, as they’re very difficult to make. As for our Eternal Life Association...”

With that, Wei’en looked at Menor. ”Elder Menor, you don’t mind, do you?”

”Of course. I’m in no hurry.” Menor nodded, a tacit understanding between them. ”Go ahead and supply these bastards first. Their Black Pearl is loaded.”

Black Jack breathed a sigh of relief and continued, ”We’ll sign a contract. Afterward, I’ll leave a transmission channel open for you. Then you can send them over one by one as you finish them.”

”No problem. Whatever you say, Jack First Officer.”

’The customer is my Lord of Dawn, especially a sucker... I mean, a customer like this. He’s practically the god of gold pounds!’

Before long, the two had signed the contract for the deal, and Wei’en smoothly received half the payment as a deposit.

He looked at the Space Ring in his hand, which now held eighty thousand gold pounds, and it took every ounce of his willpower not to laugh out loud.

’Sixteen sniper rifles, one hundred sixty thousand gold pounds, an eighty-thousand-gold-pound deposit... and a total cost of no more than two hundred and forty gold pounds...’

’Robbery? Piracy? What could possibly make money faster than these sniper rifles?’

’This deal had opened the door to a whole new world for him. So this was the right way to make money!’

Over on the Kenzan Frolorov, the white-haired girl was leaning over the ship’s rail. Her vacant, listless eyes were fixed on the inwardly ecstatic Wei’en as she stated in a flat tone, ”Brother Wei’en, happy.”

Hearing the girl’s words, Clelia, who stood nearby, crossed her arms and gave a seductive smile. ”His heart’s gone all black. Of course he’s happy~”

PS: I messed up the title. I promised the great ”Xintian County Tian Tian An” that this Chapter wouldn’t count as a bonus Chapter.
