Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

Huh?

[You missed Huberto Watson with your sniper rifle. Evaluation: Too late... Special Reward: Survival Points +10, Marksmanship +1.]

A miss?

Realizing this, Wei’en instantly flickered away.

’Dammit, was I too late?’

The next second, the pillar of light swelled several times its size and spread outward at an incredible speed, stopping only after it had engulfed Pavla, who was kneeling on the deck.

Then, a sacred whisper echoed all around, like a god lamenting the world’s suffering, lingering over this stretch of sea.

’What is this!?’

Wei’en’s expression shifted slightly. The voice was like someone ”softly” whispering in his ear, but he couldn’t make out the meaning of what they were saying at all.

Dawn?

”Praise Dawn...”

As the voice emerged, the bitterness on Huberto’s face vanished.

Dawn had answered his prayer, which meant it had forgiven his fall from grace. He had succeeded!

At this thought, a smile spread across his face. He looked at the blonde Priestess, who was also enveloped in the pillar of light. ”Pavla, from now on, you’re on your own.”

”Lord of Judgment, why did you do this? You didn’t have to...” Pavla’s expression was sorrowful; she still couldn’t accept this outcome.

”Embracing Dawn is something I should have done long ago.” Huberto’s smile faded. He wanted to reach out and help Pavla up but found his body was no longer under his control. He could only sigh softly. ”You are the Favorer of the Kindness Authority. You are meant to spread Dawn’s greatness throughout this world.”

”I...” Pavla rose unsteadily, her gaze falling upon the Holy Professionals who had died horribly at the hands of the Mutated Mages. ”Can I still do it?”

”Of course, you can. No other authority could be more suitable for you!”

Pavla was silent for a few seconds. ”I understand.”

She was Dawn’s Candidacy Saintess, the Favorer of the Kindness Authority.

Her very existence was to represent Dawn and spread Its brilliance and greatness!

Huberto smiled again. ”Your Holiness, do not be sad. I will be in Dawn’s hall, awaiting your arrival... Farewell.”

Pavla nodded lightly. ”Farewell, Lord of Judgment!”

As her voice fell, she saw Huberto slowly close his eyes with a smile on his face. An even more intense, sacred aura emanated from him, merging into the surrounding pillar of light.

Not only that, but the Judgment Knight’s body also began to rise slowly, flying up along the pillar of light as if summoned by some unknown existence, until he completely vanished into the vortex above the clouds.

Immediately after, a beam of deep blue light descended from the depths of the sky and landed on Pavla’s head. The golden and blue lights slowly mingled, converging into her body.

A profound and mysterious aura radiated from her, forming a blue-gold sphere of light around her.

Wei’en watched the familiar scene, remembering that when Kali received Dawn’s favor, it was just like...

Before he could fully recall the memory, he saw the woman inside the sphere of light begin to change.

Her golden hair turned aquamarine and cascaded down. Her facial features also underwent a subtle transformation; her soft lines became even more gentle yet defined. The Golden Robe she wore vanished, revealing her bare, rounded breasts.

Afterward, the sphere of light began to rise slowly, as if to chase after the Judgment Knight.

’That’s right, just like that, completely naked...’

However, this time, as Wei’en looked at the figure within the sphere of light, no blasphemous thoughts arose in his mind. The desire to kill her and eliminate a future threat couldn’t even occupy one percent of his heart.

It was a very strange feeling. One moment he wanted to kill her, and the next, the thought was deflected or had mysteriously vanished...

’The Kindness Authority... what a terrifying power!’

Wei’en glanced at the corpses of the Holy Professionals on the ship, and after a few seconds of thought, decided to resurrect Clelia first.

Hm?

Just then, Wei’en’s spiritual perception picked up the feedback of a Five-Masted Sailing Ship.

’Someone’s coming?’

He turned to look, his eyes widening abruptly. Was that—Marco?!
