Warhammer Divine Throne

In the Old World, taking a maid out of a Count’s castle was originally a very simple task for two Holy Sanctuary powerhouses. Whether it was Elspeth von Draken or Theodore Bruckner, even in one of the Empire’s four major cities, known as the Southern Imperial Stronghold and industrial heart, Nuer, the hometown of Savior Ludwig, these two were considered the top powerhouses.

Theodore Bruckner has been dominating Nuer for over a decade, without losing a single championship duel or noble tournament, always occupying the titles of Nuer Champion and Grand Judge Nuer, using cruel and bloody methods to suppress Chaos cult activities and Chaos cultists.

He is a Holy Sanctuary Warrior whose strength can completely rival that of Carl Franz’s Standard Bearer Ludwig-Schwarzhammer. In the last judicial confrontation, the famous Great Swordsman Hanz from Avey Territory relied on exquisite swordsmanship to knock the sword and shield from Theodore’s hands. However, this giant tower-like brute directly choked Hanz’s neck, until the Great Swordsman made a choice between suffocation and admitting defeat.

Therefore, although the citizens and nobles of the entire city always speak of this Grand Judge Nuer with hatred and fear, everyone has to admit that his iron-faced fairness has ensured the city’s order. Despite the heap of political intrigues and factional strife occurring daily within the Nuer Court, Theodore still sits day after day in his luxurious standalone office located in the pricey center of Nuer City, drawing a super high salary of over two thousand Gold Marks annually.

As for Elspeth, she is also a well-known Holy Sanctuary Grand Mage in the Empire. She is praised as the Guardian of Nuer and the Lady of Nuer. As a Supreme Mage of the Amethyst Academy at the Imperial Royal Wizard Academy, she is the master of the Death Wind and one of only two Great Lords in the Empire capable of dragon-riding. Many believe that if not for the Death Wind causing those Death Mages to be too solitary and reluctant to interact with the living, Elspeth would be a strong contender for the Royal Chief Grand Wizard position.

Elspeth always isolates herself, only appearing on the battlefield front lines in the most urgent and critical situations, riding her Purple-Red Dragon. With a single wave of her hand, she can unleash a purple sun that devours everything, spreading terrifying and fearful power along her path. The vast majority of enemies lose their fighting will involuntarily when facing Elspeth.

Originally, with these two joining forces, most of the forces in the Old World would dread them. Even Brittania, with its Holy Grail Knights, would be cautious, as no Duke would risk offending two seasoned Holy Sanctuary powerhouses over a maid.

However, Laine is different.

Rising like a comet in the Old World, aside from his series of deeds and feats, his wedding also caught attention across various forces in the Old World.

Six brothers, six demigods, each gave their blessings to this marriage and generously bestowed an invaluable set of wedding gifts. According to eyewitness accounts from Hemgart Empire Soldiers and Rick Guard members Rudolph and Wagner, at least the vibrant gold armor is a priceless treasure, as it can almost completely resist all magic attacks and counter most physical attacks. Countess Surya fought for half a day with no injuries, only a few minor hard injuries caused by the Rat Giant striking the plating.

Thus, Laine’s origins remain a mystery, a fog-shrouded puzzle that everyone wants to solve but doesn’t really want to understand. Both Elspeth, who uses judicial confrontation to resolve issues, and Elspeth, who resorts to magic, know that forcing Emmanuelle out might not be particularly difficult relying on Elspeth’s spells, but it would bring endless troubles.

”Count Laine may be very strong, but Nuer can’t do without a Duke.” Theodore Bruckner said in a deep voice, his livid face full of heaviness: ”Emmanuelle must not escape her responsibility!”

”We don’t know if Emmanuelle plans to avoid her responsibilities, but we must contact Count Laine.” Elspeth said little; dressed in a purple robe with a veil and wielding a massive black scythe that made all passersby tremble with fear,

Rick Guard Wagner also frowned, speaking softly: ”In our interactions, Lord Laine isn’t a difficult person to deal with. As for his six demigod brothers… we only know that Angerong, the Kingdom Knight, spends his days raising chickens and ducks, farming, and hunting in Red Fish Village…”

”The divine belongs to the divine, the mortal belongs to the mortal.” A member of the Nuer Iron Armor Army said softly.

Everyone nodded, indeed, the divine belongs to the divine, the mortal belongs to the mortal — this is one of the world’s principles; deities cannot freely interfere in mortal affairs, faith competes freely. The Elf Main God, Lord of Phoenix Asuyan, established extremely detailed rules prohibiting deities from directly contacting mortals. As a result, most deities can only communicate through dreams, while human gods adopted the rules left by elves, and dwarf gods are even more taciturn.

The deity most deeply involved in mortal affairs is, of course, the Lake Fairy. Even so, this Goddess rarely descends personally or directly interferes in mortal daily life (excluding Laine).
