Warhammer Divine Throne

This caused a massive conflict with the married Great Nobles, and the Duchy once teetered on the brink of civil war. Although Theodoric was a drunkard and a lecher, he was also an excellent Warrior. His supporters and opponents within the Duchy gathered, and the civil strife was imminent.

At this moment, the orders from the Lake God Witch Mogiana arrived. The Lady’s Oracle declared that Theodoric had committed a grave mistake, disgracing the Knightly Spirit. He must seek redemption through penance and expedition to the Lady until he receives her forgiveness.

Mogiana commanded that Theodoric must leave Borelion Duchy before the Holy Grail Day this year and go to the Lake Fairy Church in the Bastogne Duchy for secluded penance. Theodoric must atone through penance and confront the Lady’s enemies, reclaim his honor, and only then could he return to Borelion Duchy to continue exercising his authority as Duke.

This was a plan acceptable to everyone, and Duke Theodoric knew he was in trouble. He reluctantly accepted, beginning to gather his followers and prepare to head to Bastogne Duchy.

Meanwhile, in the Old World, Brittania, the Cursed City of Musillon.

In the eerie, dark corridors filled with dust and skulls, Merovin Castle was marked everywhere by the signs of curses. The Undead corruption had covered Musillon for centuries. In the past, this land had been continuously falling, and in the future, disease and decay would keep spreading.

The self-proclaimed Duke of Musillon, Mathew Bade, was seated on the throne of Musillon. The Throne Hall was filled with various rare and precious treasures. Below him, ten Black Chalice Knights and two Blood Knights were already seated, along with several Vampire Lords waiting for the Duke of Musillon’s orders. A Witch Spirit was serving Mathew Bade a cup of a virgin’s delicious blood.

In full black Cursed Armor, Mathew Bade supported his head with his hand. His handsome face bore an unnatural paleness. The family crest of the black shield and gold snake was hung behind his throne. This Duke of Musillon squinted his eyes, asking a Black Chalice Knight in the hall: ”So, the Godfather wants me to seize the Crown of the Kingdom, and then reveal the Lake Jade Pool’s sinister and vile plans to all the Knights of the Kingdom?”

”Manfred von Castain is leading a Vampire army to attack Skaven’s Magic City. He must retrieve Nagash’s Sword, or else the Master of the Undead cannot return. The Witch Demon King is searching for the Witchcraft Crown’s location and the next sacrifice. You must also prove your worth, Lord Mathew Bade,” a Vampire Lord said in a sharp voice.

”...The army the Godfather left me is too small.” In Mathew Bade’s eyes lay a terrible and insane hatred: ”I will send troops, but not now. I still need enough time to restore Musillon’s production and gather my army. Fortunately, that group of Chivalry Syndrome patients in Brittania have been considerably weakened by the invasion of Chaos, so there won’t be any new Knightly Wars against Musillon in the short term.”

”Duke Theodoric will be exiled... let’s see if I can take this opportunity to do something in Borelion Duchy,” Mathew Bade had also learned about Duke Theodoric’s situation. Many plans began to form in his mind.

The meeting continued, and outside, a Vampire Lord entered, holding a Scroll imbued with powerful Undead Magic Energy, and presented it to Mathew Bade: ”My Duke, this is a Scroll from the Black Stone Stronghold in the Gray Mountain Range. I think you need to take a look.”

Mathew Bade nodded, taking hold of the Scroll filled with powerful Undead Magic Energy.

The Duke of Musillon read it for a long time, his expression changing several times. The ten Black Chalice Knights did not move, while the Vampire Lords and Blood Knights were curious about the content of the Scroll: ”My Duke, what did Kemler say?”

Mathew Bade put down the Scroll.

”Heinrich Kemler wants to form an alliance with our Musillon!”
