Warhammer Divine Throne

There was no jealousy as imagined, no exclusion as imagined. All the Holy Grail Knights were truly happy for him, even though he was not a Brittania person, even though he was young.

Everyone was just welcoming another noble figure to the fight against evil, another great knight pledging allegiance to the Goddess. The forces of justice in this world gained another bit of strength, and the evil in this world will eventually be driven away.

In the name of the Lady!

This is the Holy Grail Knight, this is the reason Brittania has stood firm for hundreds of years. In this dark era, the Holy Grail Knights are the last bastion against evil. As long as they resolutely fulfill their duties, destroying evil in the name of the Lady, humanity will still have hope.

Then, all the Holy Grail Knights drew their longswords from their waists and recited the sacred oath together with Laine:

”Holy as it is! I vow to defend it!”

”Noble as it is! I vow to admire it!”

”Treachery as it is! I vow to hate it!”

”My anger burns like a torch! It will never cease!”

”For the Lady! For Brittania!!!”

The sacred radiance filled the Cathedral, Laine could feel the Divine Power of the Lake Fairy continuously converging and signaling him, so he immediately connected his Spiritual Energy supply.

”Next, we invite Holy Grail Knight Laine Macado to have an audience with the Lady alone.” Mogiana said loudly, then made way, smiling at him.

The Lake God Witch is the First Divine Chosen of the Lake Fairy and her spokesperson in the Prime Material World, but the two are not the same. The Lake God Witch has changed many people, whenever she reincarnates she changes her name, and the current Lake God Witch has just reincarnated not long ago. However, no matter how long she reincarnates, the Chosen One always appears as a young girl.

Her attitude towards Laine was very clear. If the Lady likes him, she likes him. If the Lady dislikes him, she dislikes him. Laine is someone favored by the Lady, so her attitude toward him is very warm.

Ahead lies the Fairy Lake.

In spring, a sea of dense flowers sways in the spring breeze, the warm wind blows across Laine’s face, the Holy Grail Knight, the Champion of the Lake Fairy, rides his horse step by step closer to this legendary Holy Land.

Tall and sparse trees sway gently with the wind, their leaves rustling. Amidst many trees, there are many ruins, faintly visible as the remnants of Elf structures. Brittania is a truly livable place, in the era before the rise of humans, a large number of Elves once settled here.

The thick fog drifts over the lake. Even in the hottest summer or the coldest winter, Fairy Lake is forever shrouded in mist.

When Laine was a hundred meters away from Fairy Lake, he dismounted, then walked step by step along the path formerly tread by the First Knight King Arthur towards Fairy Lake.

A life-size statue of the Lake Fairy stood quietly by the lake, hands holding a golden Holy Grail, quietly waiting. For hundreds of years, this Deity guarded this country with Her power.

”I offer my sword, my body, my heart to the Lady,” Laine gently reached the Fairy Lake shore, kneeling on one knee, speaking softly at this nation’s supreme Holy Land.

”This is not to seek the Lady’s help, nor to express demands to the Lady.”

”Darkness is invading this Continent, the future of the world is bleak.”

”But we still have courage, faith, and glory.”

”I, Laine Macado, vow here to fight evil in the Lady’s Champion’s name, to eliminate the enemy, and banish darkness from this world!”

”Knightly Path and grandeur, war and glory, it is time now!”

The statue gradually lit up with golden light, in the dazzling white light appeared the Lake Fairy’s breathtaking figure.

”It’s the Lady! The Lady has descended!”

”Praise the Lady!”

”For the Lady! For Brittania!”

The Holy Grail Knights called out one after another, kneeling down.

”You have finally arrived here, my Champion,” the Lake Fairy smiled at Laine, like a myriad of flowers blooming in spring.

No, it’s not like; it is truly a myriad of flowers blooming. With the Lake Fairy’s smile, clusters of flowers blossomed, trees sprouted branches, endless Life Energy swirled around Laine, and emerald-green Life Energy hovered above Fairy Lake.

”My Lady,” Laine reached toward the Lake Fairy.

”My Champion,” the Lake Fairy also reached out to Laine.

Closer, ever closer.

Until the Lake Fairy’s warm fingertips touched Laine’s fingers, and then, both the Lake Fairy and her Divine Chosen Champion disappeared into thin air.

”The Lady wishes to speak to her Champion,” Lake God Witch Mogiana immediately received instructions from the Lake Fairy, so she gestured that everyone could disperse.

To receive the Lady’s command alone is a very high honor. However, as the Lady’s Champion, receiving such treatment is not unfamiliar to the Holy Grail Knights. They were merely discussing Laine’s fortune, then gradually dispersed.

The Antre Brothers and Sisters present gained a deeper understanding of Laine. This is a person favored by the Lady.

Laine felt as if his whole body was being squeezed into a very tight rubber tube, desperately pushing forward amidst the pressure, a very unpleasant feeling, though he gritted his teeth and endured.

After thirty seconds, he landed on the ground.

”Where is this?” Laine got up from the ground, finding it was still the Fairy Lake shore, but the scenery was completely different, with the chill autumn wind, withered branches, and fallen leaves swirling around. Many trees were already withered, and the blooming flower sea also withered one after another.
