Warhammer Divine Throne

Laine examines Ollica’s body and notices something different.

The soul of the Dark Elf bears a mysterious mark, which is what draws the gaze of Slaanesh.

”This is the mark of the Pleasure Sect! Even the High Elves have pleasure sect corruption!” Laine immediately thinks of the Pleasure Sect, this sect worshiping the Evil God would leave such a mark.

This indicates that the High Elf who harmed Ollica is also a follower of Slaanesh. Newest update provided by novｅlfire.net

”...The Asur constantly think the Duruzi are corrupt and degenerate, but who doesn’t know they themselves are unclean?” Ollica mutters, but the Dark Elf quickly screams. She is held down by Laine, whose spiritual energy begins to construct a shield to protect the Dark Elf’s soul: ”Ollica, let go of your vigilance, let go of your fear, see, there are many boulders here...”

”No! His gaze, He’s always watching me!” Ollica says painfully, her spirit desperately struggles to escape the gaze of the Evil God.

”Calm down, Ollica, it’s too bright and orderly here, with these boulders surrounding you, He can no longer find your presence! Calm down, look closely, He can’t see you now.” Laine presses down on the Dark Elf, continually repeating, using his spiritual energy to suggest to Ollica: ”He can’t find you now.”

”Yes, yes, He can’t find me now, He can’t find me now.” Ollica truly feels the gaze of the Evil God retreating, Slaanesh tries to trace the figure of the Dark Elf once again but finds nothing.

Ollica collapses on the sofa, drenched in sweat. Her eyes are mixed with emotions as she looks at Laine, unable to comprehend why this human is so powerful or why he helps her. But she realizes she must rely on his protection now or else she would once again become food for the covet of Slaanesh if the protection is withdrawn.

Due to the intense mental impact, the Dark Elf gradually loses consciousness and faints.

”Did it succeed, Mr. Laine?” Amelia asks curiously as she approaches.

”Well, it should be fine now, but out of caution, she should sleep in the same room with me for a while. I need to see if she’s still threatened by the Evil God.” Laine picks Ollica up and hands her to Amelia: ”Take her to wash up!”

Amelia and Miranda together take Ollica to the bath for a thorough cleaning, then send the weakened Dark Elf into Laine’s room. Ollica is unable to resist and can only obediently be dressed in a nightgown before being carried into Laine’s room. The two maids prepare a new bedding on the sofa in Laine’s room.

Ollica wraps herself tightly with the cotton quilt, leaving only her stunningly beautiful face and silk-like waist-length black hair exposed. She is constantly vigilant of Laine.

Yet Laine does nothing, leaning against the bedhead reading a book, occasionally taking out parchment to write and draw. After maintaining this situation for a while, he finally notices Ollica’s condition: ”What’s wrong, Ollica?”

”Human...why did you save me?” the Dark Elf says warily.

”You’re my property, who else would I save?” Laine replies helplessly: ”Also, you have to call me master!”

Ollica’s expression fluctuates, the Dark Elf stares at him for a long time, weighing her options internally, then finally emits a voice as thin as a mosquito: ”Master.”

Indeed! Laine nods internally, the difference between Dark Elves and High Elves is right here.

If it were a High Elf on the other side, she might never yield, fighting against Laine till the end, for High Elves believe any race other than themselves and Demon Toad Shilan to be inferior.

But the Dark Elves are different, for them, it’s survival of the fittest, the winner becomes king, as long as one shows sufficient strength, the Dark Elves don’t mind being a follower of a strong one.

Provided Laine is strong enough, strong enough that the Dark Elf before him has no thoughts of resistance.

Laine accomplished this.

”Do High Elves also have pleasure sects?” After thinking for a while, Laine begins to ask.

All three elf races are no good birds, Laine knows well, High Elves are arrogant, Dark Elves are bloodthirsty, and Wood Elves...absolutely isolated, willing to kill anyone to maintain their isolation.

”...Do you think High Elves are pure, flawless superior beings?” The Dark Elf finally speaks, looking at Laine’s curious gaze, answering with hatred: ”Asur are not as noble and flawless as humans imagine. Elf souls are the most precious, they are constantly coveted by the Evil God.”

”The Duruzi approach is to please our god, using blood and slaughter, and Queen Morasi’s various sacrifice rituals to prevent our souls from being devoured...” Ollica murmurs, then speaks of High Elves, her face showing hatred and disdain: ”And those Asur allow the Pleasure Sect to spread within society, they pollute Asuyan’s Holy Fire and steal the Phoenix King position through cheating methods.”

”Why do you say steal? Haven’t successive Phoenix Kings passed Asuyan’s Holy Fire challenge to transform into Phoenix Kings?” Laine asks Ollica.

”They used despicable means!” After saying this, Ollica is unwilling to say more.
