Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2015: Chapter 2016: The Tsundere Young Master

”Mm, thank you for your guidance, Miss Lele.” Qingyi sincerely thanked. She really didn’t know what good gift to give Su Yixing, so she asked Gong Le.

But this pouch is not valuable, would Su Yixing like it?

Su Yixing, after all, always preferred rare and precious things. But she had given him rare and precious things before, and he hadn’t liked them...

Can’t figure it out...

Qingyi truly couldn’t understand, and also truly didn’t know what good gift to give. So, she decided to follow Gong Le’s suggestion and seriously embroidered a pouch for Su Yixing as a birthday gift.

Because it was a birthday gift, it couldn’t be without any mystery, so Qingyi didn’t embroider the pouch in front of Su Yixing; instead, she did it secretly, planning to give it to him on his twenty-third birthday.

Su Yixing noticed Qingyi secretly making something, but he didn’t say anything. He even pretended not to see.

But truthfully, he really didn’t know what she was secretly making.

Because the two spent every night together, on the morning of June 6th, when Su Yixing woke up, he teasingly asked the already awake Qingyi, ”Today’s my birthday, where’s the gift?”

Qingyi got up, didn’t wear her outer clothing, and went to the dressing table. Then, she took out a very exquisite small pouch from a small box on the table.

Standing with her back to Su Yixing, Qingyi looked at the pouch in her hand, hesitating, not knowing whether to give it to him.

This thing is really too cheap, not valuable at all. She was really afraid he would get angry again, very angry.

But the problem is, if not this, then what?

Besides this, she hadn’t prepared anything else.

Su Yixing also didn’t wear his outer clothing and remained on the bed. Sitting cross-legged, he smiled at Qingyi, who was not coming back with her back to him, and said, ”What exactly are you holding that’s taking so long?”

Qingyi awkwardly turned around, simultaneously quickly hiding the item behind her back, not letting Su Yixing see.

Slowly walking back to the bedside, she lowered her head, and after a while, she slowly stretched the pouch hidden behind her towards Su Yixing, timidly saying, ”Husband, please don’t get angry...”

Su Yixing felt puzzled.

But when he saw the pouch in Qingyi’s hand, his eyebrow raised instantly, ”This pouch is your birthday gift to me?”

Qingyi braced herself and nodded, ”Yes.” She still didn’t dare to look up at him, afraid he would get mad.

Su Yixing asked again, ”Did you make it yourself?”

”Mm.”

”It’s quite nice.” Su Yixing smiled, pulling Qingyi into his arms as she was sitting on the bed. His chin rested on her shoulder, looking at the pouch he had taken over. He couldn’t hide the grin on his lips.

Before, she always gave him particularly expensive things, clearly just to appease him, which he couldn’t like. But today was different; this pouch was something she embroidered and made with her own hands. He was very happy about it.

Qingyi turned her head and, seeing the smile on Su Yixing’s lips, asked dazedly, ”Husband, you really like this birthday gift?”

Su Yixing nodded with a smile, ”Mm, I really like it.” He said, and even gave her a kiss.

Qingyi instantly felt bitter, not happy at all. No wonder he liked Gong Le; Gong Le casually suggested a gift, she gave it, and he liked it so much.
