The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1384: Chapter 537: Beauty Cup (Part 3)

”Yes and no.”

Mu Li smiled and said, ”Some of the girls here come from the base on Ao Island, but some were discovered by talent scouts for entertainment companies and were intercepted by me halfway.”

”And some girls come entirely from good families, coming here for their dreams, just to find a good future...”

Zhou Wang didn’t expect Mu Li to explain everything so...fresh and refined. The key was that Mu Li’s expression was very genuine, making it hard for Zhou Wang to tell if she was being insincere.

However, judging from the vibrant spirit of these girls, and his past interactions with Li Nuoyi and Bai Feifei, they all seem willing to immerse themselves in this line of work.

From this perspective, Mu Li wasn’t wrong. She was just providing these girls with a platform with broad prospects, without forcing them into anything. You could even say...she was a ”great benefactor” to these girls.

”Mr. Zhou, care to take a look around?”

At this point, Mu Li suggested.

Zhou Wang was indeed curious and went along with it.

At this moment, Zhou Wang noticed a detail: Mu Li signaled for him to go inside but didn’t intend to follow, which made Zhou Wang feel a bit comfortable.

Zhou Wang didn’t disturb the girls but just got a little closer to see what courses they were learning.

The result was pretty much what Zhou Wang expected: dance, vocal music, etiquette, traditional Chinese painting, equestrianism...all the major courses that enhance a person’s quality, shape, and demeanor were offered here. Ignoring the girls’ real backgrounds, it was like an inadvertent entry into a noble girls’ school classroom.

What Zhou Wang truly appreciated was that despite the girls’ varying looks, their faces were natural. There might be minor adjustments that Zhou Wang couldn’t notice, but at least he didn’t see the ”snake face” that he loathed.

Among them were a few mixed-race and foreign girls who caught Zhou Wang’s attention for a few extra moments.

After making a round, amidst the shy glances of many girls, Zhou Wang quickly walked back.

”President Mu, that’s enough. Shall we go?”

”Okay.”

Mu Li didn’t say much, nodded, and led Zhou Wang to other places.

A greenhouse with rare plants, a display room with a decent number of antiques, a cigar room, and a wine cellar...

They wandered around the castle-like villa casually. The purpose wasn’t to tour; the two deliberately conversed more to increase their familiarity with each other.

It wasn’t until mealtime approached that Mu Li brought Zhou Wang to the dining room on the basement level, with a sunken independent outdoor view.

Here, Huang Duming and Xiao Wang were taken to the side room for dining, while Gao Xing stood quietly in the corner.

”Does Mr. Zhou have a habit of having an aperitif?”

Once the surroundings quieted down, Mu Li softly asked a sudden question.

”If it’s Western cuisine, I could have a little.”

Zhou Wang glanced at the arrangement on the long dining table and nodded.

Mu Li nodded with a smile and immediately clapped her hands.

The sound of stiletto heels clicking on the floor echoed, and Zhou Wang initially thought it was one of the girls who had been following Mu Li. Until a fresh and unique perfume scent wafted into his nostrils, Zhou Wang sensed something was different.

Zhou Wang looked up, and the girl standing before him with a tray had a tall figure, a face that was pure yet charming, resembling a mix of Bai Feifei and Li Nuoyi. However, her beauty surpassed theirs, making her the kind of stunning beauty who could attract countless gazes anywhere she went.

Her features were somewhat deep, her eyelashes had a long curve, her pupils were an uncommon amber color among Asians...she was a mixed-race girl.

Coincidentally, Zhou Wang had seen her in the dance studio earlier, and she was in the center position during practice.

He had cast her a few more glances at the time, mainly because her elegant demeanor reminded him of a senior.

Now she was in a different dress, still white but with more design, and Zhou Wang’s gaze involuntarily fell on her nearly perfect right-angled shoulders. The alabaster softness seemed like a divine gift, with intricately beautiful lines.

”Is tequila okay? Mr. Zhou, you can rest assured, she’s cleaner than you imagine.”

Mu Li suddenly asked from the side.

Zhou Wang was a bit perplexed. He didn’t understand how drinking could be related to words like ”clean,” but he thought Mu Li was talking about hygiene, so he nodded.

The next moment, the tall mixed-race girl set down the tray, picked up a small pot of white salt, and gently sprinkled some on her shoulder blade.

While Zhou Wang was still in a daze, the girl then bit into a slice of lemon with her glistening lips before picking up the bottle, tilting her body slightly, and pouring a small amount of deep green liquor onto her white shoulder...

It was only then that the girl’s cheeks flushed slightly, took a step forward, and tilted her porcelain, butterfly-wing-like shoulder towards Zhou Wang, allowing the green liquor to reach his lips. She softly said:

”Please, Mr. Zhou...taste the wine.”
