The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1372: Chapter 532: ”Shen Yutong the Opportunist” (Part 2)

”Did... did you guess it?”

”Hmm, it’s the character ’Duo’.”

If Su Yajing wasn’t there, Zhou Wang would have surely played dumb and made Yu Duo write it several more times. But seeing Yu Duo’s face turn red as if it was about to bleed, Zhou Wang didn’t tease her further; instead, he nodded and gave her the answer.

Yu Duo felt relieved and ran back to her seat.

...

Eleven o’clock, twelve o’clock, one o’clock, two o’clock...

The wall clock’s time kept slipping away.

Even Zhou Wang started feeling a bit dizzy later on.

Perhaps feeling it wasn’t exciting enough or not knowing if it was Cui Min’er or Su Yajing who suggested it, the loser of each round not only had to play a game but also drink a cup of alcohol.

With this, even the mixed tequila wasn’t enough for the five of them.

Two newly opened bottles of tequila were unknowingly emptied, and the scene spiraled out of control.

After the first game, the four already tipsy girls seemed to have shed some inhibitions, playing any game that had a card, no matter how bold...

Even the usually reserved Shen Yutong turned red-eyed when cornered.

Why were they all being so lovey-dovey, while the honest one like her could only watch, flushing?

So when she picked up a cookie from the table and put it in her lips, inviting Zhou Wang to eat it together, Zhou Wang knew that Shen Yutong was indeed drunk.

But... drunk is drunk.

Amidst the fragrant poolside, Zhou Wang vaguely remembered many fragmented scenes.

He forgot the game’s specifics but remembered kissing Yu Duo across a poker card, with Yu Duo’s fingers tightly gripping his shoulder. Later, Zhou Wang realized the poker card had somehow fallen into the cleavage of Yu Duo’s chest.

He also recalled jumping into the pool with Cui Min’er, who playfully clung to him like seaweed, making it quite a struggle to complete a lap.

He remembered during a game with Shen Yutong, someone suddenly pulled the knot on her neck from behind, only for the swimsuit to get stuck halfway as it fell.

He remembered a flavor that tasted like vanilla ice cream.

Remembered a large peach split into two, seemingly ready to be squeezed for juice with a bit more pressure.

And while devouring some dessert, having his teeth struck by a cherry hidden in the cream.

As everyone got more into the games, the chaos and confusion grew.

Yet amidst the chaos was a boundless joy.

”Drunk to not know the sky in the water, a boat of clear dreams pressing the starry river.”

When everyone was too worn out to continue playing, Zhou Wang, in a haze, thought of this almost cliché line, yet found it perfectly fitting at the moment.

”Awake to still see the moon shaking, a laugh captures the world.”

Zhou Wang added two lines to himself, then lightly patted the soft rear of an unknown girl slumped on the sofa, nodding with satisfaction.

Damn, I’m a genius!

...

At three in the morning, the impromptu pool party finally concluded. Zhou Wang, who hadn’t been so relaxed in a long time, realized he was indeed a bit drunk.

He was awakened by others as he was groggily escorted downstairs by a girl nearby. He heard her softly whispering, her gentle voice continuously entering his ears.

Zhou Wang tried to open his eyes wide, attempting to discern what she was saying.

Under the warm water cascading from above, Zhou Wang regained a bit of clarity, and the murmuring in his ears became clearer.

”...Zhou Wang, I’ve really missed you, and my sister... she also...”

Zhou Wang turned his head, realizing he was in the bathroom, with a girl on tiptoes, trying to help him wash his body.

She wore a half-hanging bright yellow swimsuit, not exposing anything essential, yet the half-hidden view, wet and alluring.

Especially a particular ill-fitting size, truly eye-catching.

Stirred up all night, Zhou Wang couldn’t resist wrapping her slender waist, eager to feel the pressure of the contrasting curves.

”Ah!”

With a blush and slightly dazed eyes, Shen Yutong seemed surprised Zhou Wang became sober at that moment. Yet she didn’t panic; instead, blushing before gently leaning into Zhou Wang’s arms, even slightly raising her hand for a more comfortable embrace.

”Why are you alone, where are the others?”

Zhou Wang’s body acted against his will; he didn’t restrain his hands, casually asking.

”They’re still asleep. I thought I’d put you to bed first, then take care of them...”

Shen Yutong softly said.

”So you were pretending to be drunk earlier?”

Zhou Wang was a bit surprised to find Shen Yutong the most sober.

”I... I didn’t know my tolerance was this high, felt I couldn’t drink any more, but wasn’t too drunk... Please hold still, I’ll help you with some shower gel.”

Shen Yutong quietly explained, then pushed away Zhou Wang’s misbehaving hand.

Zhou Wang thought it made sense; women often handled alcohol better than men, turning the hunter and prey roles in a blink.

”I heard you mention your sister earlier?”

Watching Shen Yutong demurely squatting to apply soap, Zhou Wang suddenly recalled.

Shen Yutong paused, then gently nodded, ”Mm...”

”How is she? Is her ex-husband still bothering her?”

”He’s been calling, but my sister never answers... She went back home to Gui Province to secretly see Yangyang.”

”Alone?”

Zhou Wang instinctively frowned, wanting to speak but considering Shen Yutong’s feelings, stayed silent.

”Zhou Wang, it’s done. You... should go to bed, I’ll wash up too...”

At this point, Shen Yutong shut off the faucet, quietly suggesting, her cheeks seemingly redder, with a hint of apprehension.

Zhou Wang realized, oddly glancing at Shen Yutong, who immediately lowered her head.

The bathroom atmosphere fell into an awkward stillness.

Eventually, Shen Yutong couldn’t stand it, nervously raising her gaze, her eyes dimming in disappointment.

”I mean, you could carry Ranran to bed first, then I’ll take care of Min’er and Duoduo...”

Smack!

Shen Yutong exclaimed, covering her backside.

”What are you thinking all day? Do you think that just because Ranran’s here, I would distance myself from you and pretend nothing happened?”

Zhou Wang teasingly remarked, then lifted Shen Yutong’s smooth chin, ”Since you’ve made your choice, I naturally won’t go back on it, or have you changed your mind about being my woman?”

”I... I want to, in my heart, you’ve long been... my man.”

Shen Yutong felt reassured, quickly whispering her reply.

”So you simply took advantage, dragging me back alone, planning to do something improper?”

Zhou Wang sneakily remarked.

Shen Yutong blushed deeper, avoiding Zhou Wang’s gaze, but her weak nod was detected by Zhou Wang’s finger on her chin.

Zhou Wang’s heart fluttered at the sight of Shen Yutong’s shy yet slightly bold demeanor, finding it incredibly enticing.

”Since you washed me earlier, it’s now my turn to wash you.”

Under the streaming water, amidst rising steam, came muffled gasps from Shen Yutong.

”No... not here... uh!”
