The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1379: Chapter 535: Red and Blue_2

Zhou Wang, who had absorbed quite a bit of knowledge, naturally saw through Cui Min’er’s thoughts.

He harbored some mischievous ideas and took a step closer to Cui Min’er, the two were already in a state where their bodies were vaguely touching.

The suddenly closed distance made Cui Min’er’s body tense, yet in her heart she was secretly pleased, saying to herself, it seems I still have an attraction to Zhou Wang...

Just as she was thinking this, she heard Zhou Wang quietly say:

”I don’t remember the Arc de Triomphe, but I do remember another door. It stands amid desolate white hills, adorned with red and blue butterfly patterns, quite beautiful...”

Cui Min’er was stunned at first, then instinctively glanced down at her abdomen area, and her fair face suddenly turned crimson.

”Zhou Wang, what, what nonsense are you talking about!”

Observing Cui Min’er who awkwardly averted her gaze, where nervousness clearly outweighed surprise and irritation, Zhou Wang instantly confirmed a certain suspicion in his heart.

Last night, he hadn’t reacted in time, but this morning while showering, replaying the entire event in his mind, Zhou Wang began to notice something was off.

”You did it on purpose, didn’t you?”

”I don’t know what you’re talking about...”

”There may be coincidences in this world, but I don’t believe you’d be careless to such an extent. If you really intended to swim alone, first you’d definitely close and even lock the door, and though the changing room is in the other corner, you boldly stood by the pool to change clothes...”

Zhou Wang laughed lightly, ”I suspect you waited on the stairs or somewhere for quite a while. Perhaps you had some inexplicable premonition, or maybe it was just a sudden idea, but when you realized it was indeed me who arrived first, your ’plan’ went smoothly.”

”Zhou Wang, you... you’re completely guessing wildly. I thought all of you were asleep, so... so I went swimming on my own.”

Cui Min’er, with a face flushed red, incoherently defended herself.

”Shh!”

This time Zhou Wang raised his finger and lightly pressed against her glossy lip.

”No need to argue, your motive isn’t all that important after all—I’m not at a loss... quite the contrary, I actually want to congratulate you.”

”Congr... Congratulate me on what?”

Cui Min’er was momentarily confused, her lips brushed against Zhou Wang’s fingertips, generating a teasing tickling heat.

”If it was to show off or even to seduce me, then your aim was halfway achieved... indeed, not bad.”

Zhou Wang gave Cui Min’er a quick up-and-down glance and then smiled as he walked away.

What does it mean by not bad, what part is not bad...

Cui Min’er’s delicate ears reddened in response, but Zhou Wang’s fleeting sentence left her heart disrupted, feeling quite unable to proceed.

She actually didn’t know what she was thinking at the time, even the full view that her fiancé had never seen was now deprived by Zhou Wang’s 360-degree appreciation.

While she was flamboyantly changing poses in the pool, it wasn’t mainly shame she felt, but rather an intensified hidden excitement.

When the man peering through the door crack didn’t retreat immediately, she felt a twisted joy of triumph...

...

Zhou Wang was just about to find Su Yajing and the others when suddenly the sound of footsteps echoed behind him, sounding quite heavy.

”Xiao Wang, no need to try too hard, under the broad daylight, you wouldn’t scare me even if you quietly appeared beside me...”

Zhou Wang laughed helplessly without turning his head.

Xiao Wang scratched his head and laughed, ”Wasn’t it Mr. Zhou who instructed us to give a bit of a sign before appearing?”

As the trip was meant to be low-key, Gao Xing, Xiao Wang, and other security personnel stayed in the shadows, including Huang Duming as the accompanying assistant.

Zhou Wang had advised them beforehand to give some indication when appearing, although Zhou Wang’s considerations were mostly tied to traveling with four girls, anticipating some inconvenient scenarios, mainly nighttime ones.

”What’s the matter?”

Zhou Wang slowed his pace.

Xiao Wang leaned in close and whispered something into Zhou Wang’s ear.

Zhou Wang raised an eyebrow in surprise, ”Such a thing?”

Without waiting for Xiao Wang’s reply, Zhou Wang frowned and asked, ”When did you discover it?”

”Discovered it back in Magic City, but since Mr. Zhou had instructed us before, we didn’t report it alone, just kept an eye... Moreover, according to Brother Gao’s judgement, the other party doesn’t seem malicious. It wasn’t until yesterday when they not only followed us to Peng City but also checked into a nearby hotel, that we reported it to you...”

Zhou Wang pondered, ”Are we sure we haven’t detected any hostility from her?”

”Brother Gao and I agree, there’s no sign for now.”

Zhou Wang was somewhat puzzled, but he trusted Gao Xing and Xiao Wang since they were professionals. After some thought, he then instructed:

”If that’s the case, let’s wait and see... By the way, has she noticed you guys?”

”Probably not.”

At this point, Xiao Wang hesitated but ended up saying nothing.

”Alright then.”

”Yes.”

Xiao Wang responded then silently disappeared into the crowd.

...

”Ugh, this place is more boring than I expected!”

”It is kind of dull... Ranran, didn’t you do the research? Didn’t the guides mention this place isn’t actually fun? It seems more appropriate for bringing kids.”

After wandering around the Window of the World park and taking some selfies, the girls seemed rather lackluster, Yu Duo and Shen Yutong were quick to criticize.

”Many said this place is a bit disappointing, but since it’s close to the hotel we’re staying at, and it’s quite famous in Peng City, I thought we’d visit on the way!”

Su Yajing didn’t mind as she browsed through the photos on her phone, ”At least, they do come out well!”

”Where are Zhou Wang and Min’er?”

Shen Yutong curiously looked back, ”I haven’t seen them for a while.”

”Oh, my brother just messaged saying he went to buy us ice cream... Here he comes, Brother, over here!”

As Su Yajing was explaining, she looked up to see Zhou Wang approaching with several Haagen-Dazs ice creams, and she immediately waved with a smile.

”Zhou Wang, did you see Sister Min’er?”

When Zhou Wang got closer, Yu Duo promptly asked.

”Oh, she should’ve gone to the restroom, I don’t really know...”

Zhou Wang shrugged, knowing that Cui Min’er probably went to find a place to calm down since earlier, it seemed she was quite shaken.

The prouder the woman, the less she can handle such humiliation, but Zhou Wang ultimately gave her some veiled praise, presumably leaving her feelings very conflicted.

”Brother, you’re probably bored too. When Min’er gets back, let’s head to Wanxiang City for a stroll...”

”I’m fine, as long as I’m with you, going anywhere won’t be boring.”

The charming man said, his gaze skimming over Yu Duo and Shen Yutong, inviting them into the shared girlish blush with Su Yajing.

Returning to the park entrance, while waiting for Cui Min’er, the girls pointed at the park map and began another lively discussion.

”Do you all remember we were originally planning to go to Thailand?”

Su Yajing pointed at the ”Taj Mahal” mark with a smile.

”I remember, at the time I even said we could also go to Australia to see kangaroos...”

Yu Duo pointed at the map’s ”Sydney Opera House” mark.

”Unfortunately, reality is so overpowering. Now discovering traveling abroad as four together is quite challenging...”

Shen Yutong lamented.

Zhou Wang, originally silent at the back smoking, felt suddenly stirred upon hearing this.

”Hey, since we’re waiting anyway, how about we play a game?”

Zhou Wang suggested, pointing at the ”World Map” in front of the three laughing girls.
