The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 92: Chapter 87 Peach Blossoms

In Zhou Wang’s perspective, Yu Duo’s delicate ears suddenly turned a deep shade of red.

She flinched a little, stammering, “Zhou Wang, last… last night you got drunk, I got drunk too, we… nothing happened…”

“Were you still drunk just now?”

Zhou Wang pulled back a bit.

Yu Duo quickly shook her head.

“Then you better watch this time.”

...

Zhou Wang smiled, then lowered his head again.

Yu Duo didn’t understand at first, until she watched Zhou Wang coming closer and closer, and then suddenly, she realized what Zhou Wang meant—

Since you say kissing only happens when drunk, then I’ll kiss you again when you’re sober… see what you say then?

Yu Duo’s heart was about to jump out of her throat, and her mind went completely blank.

Honestly, she did have a bit of affection for Zhou Wang.

After all, he was handsome and willing to spend money on girls, perfectly matching Yu Duo’s image of a future first love boyfriend, who only loved reading comic books and novels.

But at least before last night, it was just a bit of affection.

This feeling was like when your buddy suddenly found a very beautiful girlfriend; you couldn’t really do anything about it because you are “human,” but you would still take a couple more glances because you are “animal.”

It’s the most primal attraction between genders and has nothing to do with anything else.

The same logic applies to girls.

And in this regard, girls tend to take action much more than boys do…

Otherwise, why would there be that ancient saying, “Guard against fire, theft, and girlfriends”?

Yu Duo never thought of stealing Su Yajing’s boyfriend; if it weren’t for the effect of alcohol, she definitely would not have ended up soaked in the bathroom.

But the problem was, no matter what the reason, it had already happened.

This meant the door was already ajar; trying to close it tightly again would be much harder than before.

More importantly, Su Yajing was just outside the door, and Yu Duo didn’t know that Su Yajing had already tacitly agreed to the “unequal agreement” between her and Zhou Wang. So at this moment, watching Zhou Wang continuously getting closer, Yu Duo felt a kind of inexplicable thrill.

Zhou Wang’s movements were slow, so slow she had plenty of time to dodge, yet Yu Duo only leaned against the door as if she had nowhere else to escape.

Just as their lips were about to touch, Zhou Wang suddenly stopped.

He looked at Yu Duo, who had closed her eyes tightly, chuckled softly, and then yanked the towel off her neck.

Seeing those bright red marks, Zhou Wang realized he had been rather rough last night. Of course, it might also have been because Yu Duo’s skin was just so tender that even a slight exertion of force resulted in visible feedback.

But as Yu Duo heard Zhou Wang’s laughter, she felt a sort of shame and fury at being played with. Zhou Wang, however, gave her no chance to act out and pressed forward.

“Mmm…”

Yu Duo slipped into a void.

This felt completely different from when she was drunk…

Everything became so clear.

It felt like pineapple pastries, the numbness of Sichuan peppercorns, and the limpness that left her body powerless like soft bones.

Zhou Wang teased her mercilessly, giving her no room for thought or resistance, and her hand rose again, scratching at his chest like a little cat.

This teasing-like action made Zhou Wang unconsciously exert a bit more force.

Bang!

The door banged strongly.

The noise was fairly loud, and soon footsteps echoed in the hallway, followed by Su Yajing’s puzzled inquiry.

“Brother, is everything alright in there?”

Yu Duo snapped back to reality, quickly covering her mouth firmly to prevent any startled yelps from escaping.

That dog of a man, Zhou Wang, however, stayed calm and composed, even fiddled with a yo-yo in Yu Duo’s pleading gaze before speaking, “It’s nothing, I accidentally bumped into the cabinet.”

“Oh, how’s Duoduo?”

“She… doesn’t seem to be in good shape, do you want to come in and take a look?”

Zhou Wang smiled, and actually reached out to open the door.

Yu Duo, about to go crazy, couldn’t handle it; she pushed Zhou Wang away and scrambled onto the bed, wrapping herself tightly in a quilt.

Click!

As Yu Duo shivered, Zhou Wang really did open the door—

Standing outside were Su Yajing and Shen Yutong, who was curiously peeping in.

“Duoduo, how are you?”

Su Yajing called out.

Pretending to be dead, Yu Duo naturally gave no response.

“She still seems drunk and might be a bit allergic, she likely doesn’t want to see you guys right now.”

Zhou Wang shrugged, “I’m brewing her some isatis root, she’ll come out in a bit.”

“Okay, then I’m counting on you to look after her a bit longer, haha, we’re still not done eating our rice noodles.”

Su Yajing joked playfully, while Shen Yutong beside her looked like she had something she wanted to say but stopped.

Su Yajing pulled Shen Yutong away, and Zhou Wang closed the door lightly, turning to walk to the bed.

Hearing Zhou Wang’s approaching footsteps while sealing herself within the quilt, Yu Duo was nervous almost to death, but she just felt the bed dip a little, then there was no further movement.

After a while, Yu Duo cautiously pulled the quilt aside, and then froze, because at some point, Zhou Wang had also laid down, looking at her from a very close distance.

“Zhou Wang…”

“Shh!”

Yu Duo originally had a lot to say.

Including but not limited to “you’re a bad guy,” “how can you be so excessive,” “you’ve got a lot of nerve,” “we can’t,” “let’s stop, Wang Brother”…

But at that moment, being stared at by Zhou Wang like this, suddenly she found herself unable to say a word.

She could feel Zhou Wang carefully examining her, including but not limited to her disheveled hair, the blush scattered on her cheeks, and that tiny mole on her nose…

Finally, Zhou Wang’s gaze stopped on her lips, where the lip gloss had already blurred.

“Do you want another kiss?”

Zhou Wang asked softly, as if tempting a lamb lost on its way, “Actually, there are many ways to kiss…”

“Like what?”

Watching Zhou Wang’s bright eyes, Yu Duo didn’t even understand why she timidly asked.

Then Zhou Wang hugged her, and in the silence, they both could hear the heartbeats transmitting like a rhythm.

Getting faster.

But Zhou Wang didn’t rush, instead gently hugging her in a tender, engulfing manner.

Same logic… take it slow.

Yu Duo indeed experienced something entirely new.

Her gaze melted, and in her heart, she couldn’t help but shout.

Ah, yes, yes, yes!

This is the right way to approach the first kiss from dreams!

For the first time, she reached out, hugging Zhou Wang tightly in return.

As time passed, the roses that once faded along Yu Duo’s neck turned into a patch of new marks—

The roses withered, but they blossomed into peach blossoms.

Yes… “Peach Blossoms,” flawless.
