The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

“Then I’ll just call you Brother Zhou.”

Shen Yutong ultimately didn’t call Zhou Wang by his name directly; she thought it over and found a compromise. Seeing that Zhou Wang had no objections, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“Ladies, what’s the plan for today?”

Su Yajing hugged Zhou Wang’s arm and asked with a smile.

“Since we’re already in the city, of course it’s shopping first. Min’er wants to check out the bracelets at Cartier, and we’ll go with her for a stroll.”

...

Shen Yutong said, “Once the time’s about right, we’ll go eat. Duoduo found a restaurant that’s great for taking photos, and then in the evening, I’ve already booked a spot… Weren’t you always clamoring about wanting to see what a nightclub is like?”

“Now I don’t want to go so much anymore, but if I’ve got brother with me, I could be up for it.”

Su Yajing gave Zhou Wang a sweet smile, “Brother, what do you think?”

“You all decide. My main role today is to accompany, so I’m good with going wherever you like.”

“Brother, you’re the best!”

Su Yajing didn’t care that they were in a public place; she hugged Zhou Wang’s neck and gave him a peck.

“Then let’s go. We’ll start with the mall.”

Shen Yutong called everyone to head toward the mall together.

On the way, Zhou Wang, who mostly stayed quiet, listened to the chatter of the four girls. Along with Su Yajing’s occasional quiet explanations, he roughly figured out their relationships.

Su Yajing and Shen Yutong had been living together since their freshman year. Later on, due to conflicts with their two original roommates, they applied for a dorm change in their sophomore year, and coincidentally, Yu Duo, who was also being ostracized by her roommates, became their new roommate.

Cui Min’er was an exchange student who came over this semester. There wasn’t enough room in the international student dorm, so after the school sought opinions from a few, Cui Min’er moved into their dorm.

So, these four beauties from different departments were grouped together and, surprisingly, got along well, with their relationships growing closer.

Among them, Su Yajing and Shen Yutong had the best relationship, with the straightforward Yu Duo coming next.

As for Cui Min’er, due to some cultural differences, and her possibly being too popular on campus, she always seemed to have a perplexing sense of superiority. Because of this, Su Yajing and Shen Yutong weren’t too fond of hanging out with her. Instead, the relatively naive Yu Duo was a bit closer to Cui Min’er—

“Min’er actually isn’t bad at heart. I just can’t stand her occasional superior attitude. Hmph, it’s not like she’s rich herself. Isn’t it because her fiancé from Korea is supporting her!”

In the end, Su Yajing grumbled a little discontentedly.

“How many group chats does your dorm have?”

Zhou Wang curiously asked.

“I have three on my phone: the main group, one excluding Min’er, and one excluding Tongtong… uh, I didn’t create the last one; it was when Tongtong and Min’er had a conflict, and Duoduo pulled me into it.”

Su Yajing stuck out her tongue sheepishly, “Make sure not to tell Tongtong; she doesn’t know about it.”

“You girls really are…”

Zhou Wang chuckled, unsure how to comment.

Then, Su Yajing performed an on-the-spot face change for him. Just a second ago, she was speaking ill of Cui Min’er; the next moment, she affectionately leaned over and linked arms with her.

“Min’er, I think you mentioned before that you wanted to buy a bracelet like Jin Zhixiu’s?”

“Yes, you know I’m a die-hard Blackpink fan and have always loved Jisoo’s style.”

Cui Min’er nodded, “Oppa said this bracelet is sold out domestically, and it might be easier to find in your Huaxia since the consumer base with similar spending power is slightly smaller here.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Wang glanced at Cui Min’er, whose pride was subtly visible on her face. He finally understood what Su Yajing meant by her earlier comment.

He shook his head quietly, unsure where her unjustified superiority came from, as Huaxia was clearly the global luxury market’s largest consumer, holding a 30% share.

Though he thought this way, Zhou Wang had no intention of arguing.

After all, you can’t wake someone pretending to be asleep, especially when dealing with stubborn folks from Korea.

At least Zhou Wang could tell that Cui Min’er wasn’t deliberately putting others down; she genuinely believed it.

The girls joked and chatted as they arrived at the Cartier boutique.

As a luxurious French brand, Cartier was best known for its jewelry and watches, with its design style more favored by women, so Zhou Wang naturally wasn’t too interested.

“You all browse around first. I’m going outside for a smoke.”

After greeting the enthusiastic four girls, Zhou Wang headed out of the mall.

Su Yajing didn’t think much of it, but Cui Min’er, who had been secretly observing Zhou Wang, couldn’t help but comment:

“Yajing, doesn’t it seem a bit impolite for your boyfriend not to accompany you at a time like this?”

“Uh, what’s impolite about that?”

Su Yajing, who had been captivated by a necklace, raised her head in confusion.

“Didn’t you mention he has some money?”

Cui Min’er hinted, “Yet, while shopping, he seemed to avoid the situation. Does that mean he’s unwilling to pay for you?”

“Puhahaha…”

Su Yajing couldn’t help but laugh, and Shen Yutong chuckled beside her.

“I never said I was buying anything. Besides, even if I did like something, I still have my own money. Why should he pay for me?”

“But giving you the right gift in such a moment is a manifestation of romantic love, isn’t it?”

Cui Min’er didn’t understand why they were laughing and simply stated her opinion.

“You’ve got a point, but brother isn’t the type you think. His idea of romance is beyond your imagination.”

Su Yajing giggled, “Okay, okay, don’t worry about me. You’re the one who wants to see the bracelet; hurry and get the salesperson to bring it out. We’ll help you choose.”

Seeing that Su Yajing was indifferent, Cui Min’er didn’t say more, but she felt inexplicably balanced.

Although Zhou Wang was indeed more handsome than her fiancé, he was stingy. Such a man isn’t dependable!

…

Smoking was secondary; Zhou Wang mainly took this chance to recheck the system interface.

Earlier at noon, after another deep conversation with Su Yajing, the only permanent item in his warehouse had refreshed.

[Su Yajing’s Wish List] had been flipped to the second page.

At this moment, a new line of text appeared on the wish list, which resembled a calendar:

“I want the most perfect love, but… it seems brother hasn’t formally confessed to me yet ε=(´ο｀*))”

Seeing that first sentence startled Zhou Wang.

Because that was something he couldn’t fulfill…

However, the latter part was simple; saying a few sweet words was just a matter of opening his mouth.

The only thing Zhou Wang needed to think about was the system’s final prompt.

[The higher Su Yajing’s surprise during the confession, the greater the value of the reward the host will receive.]
