The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 81: Chapter 77 First Experience at a Nightclub

Shen Yutong referred to the “Star Fortress” located in Ming City’s Yunfang Commercial District. The taxi turned into the entrance and crawled slowly with the long line of cars for 10 minutes before finally arriving near the bar street.

Once they got out of the car, the vibe of trendiness and restlessness mixed with the bustling crowd swept over them. Before even stepping inside, Zhou Wang could feel the intense hormones in the air.

Upon looking, they saw the street full of young ladies in revealing clothing, shamelessly showcasing their beautiful young bodies in the summer evening breeze.

Or it was groups of a few youngsters loudly talking and laughing, dressed fashionably, though it was hard to define if they were fashionistas or rappers.

“Hey, isn’t it lively, Zhou?”

...

Shen Yutong chuckled and said, “It’s just past 9 o’clock. You have to wait till 12 for the peak time, then don’t even think about driving in.”

Zhou Wang looked around, smiled, and nodded, “It seems quite interesting…”

Just with one glance at the facades of these bars, Zhou Wang could vaguely understand what Shen Yutong meant by the so-called “new bar.”

BAR, house, fortress, club, camp…

Unlike the small taverns Zhou Wang used to frequent, all the clubs here exuded a trendy vibe from their facade decor. Just by looking at the names, one couldn’t associate them with traditional bars at all.

Various neon signs intertwined, creating an atmosphere intimidating enough for any inexperienced youth to hesitate.

“Min’er and Duoduo are here too. Let’s go!”

Shen Yutong glanced at her phone and waved Zhou Wang and Su Yajing to move forward.

The group of five met at the entrance of the “Star Fortress.” Shen Yutong made a call, and soon a salesperson came out to lead the group inside.

After passing security, wearing a fluorescent bracelet, and walking through a narrow corridor and heavy curtains, the almost ear-piercing music immediately engulfed everyone.

Bizarre and dazzling.

This was Zhou Wang’s first impression of the nightclub in front of him.

The space was much narrower than he imagined, but there were numerous high tables placed at extremely close intervals. Aside from a circle of booths around the sides and the bar in the middle, there were hardly any stools to be seen.

It clearly should have been an extremely uncomfortable environment with people squeezing one another, yet, on the contrary, it was packed with people.

Everyone was gleefully swaying their bodies, raising their glasses, and playing extrovertly in the music.

Zhou Wang was genuinely surprised that this bar, which didn’t appear high-end from its decor, had such a great atmosphere—

He saw an overwhelming number of young ladies, a sight unimaginable from his previous bar experiences.

It was partly because they were all young, and there were even a few dressed in cosplay outfits who looked underage. The key point was that at a glance, their appearances were quite impressive.

The DJ booth wasn’t playing traditional electronic music; instead, a black band was singing “Love Story.”

In a moment of vagueness, Zhou Wang heard a “ding,” but before he had time to check, Yu Duo’s urging voice came from beside him.

“Zhou Wang, Zhou Wang… hurry up!”

The path was a bit crowded; Yu Duo grabbed Zhou Wang’s hand, while Zhou Wang shielded Su Yajing behind him, and the group followed the salesperson inside.

Really squeezing in.

Through this process, Zhou Wang vaguely understood the purpose of this cramped indoor space…

If you weren’t extra careful, it was really difficult to avoid physical contact with others. Suppose you were a bit pervy and wanted to “accidentally” take advantage of some young lady; it couldn’t be easier.

All you could say was that the designer truly understood consumer psychology, and it was no wonder that all sorts of messy stories easily happened in nightclubs.

“My girlfriend definitely can’t come to places like this… uh, none of them are allowed.”

Thinking this way, when they finally arrived, Yu Duo, nestled in one side of his embrace, couldn’t help but nudge him.

“Creepy… haven’t you hugged enough?”

“Oh, sorry, zoned out.”

Zhou Wang released Yu Duo without a change in expression, while Su Yajing on the other side just giggled, seemingly indifferent.

Looking at the table in front of him, Zhou Wang couldn’t help but frown.

It was just a regular high table in the hall; five people could only stand around the table, initially tolerable because everyone was doing it. But the problem was…

This table was right next to the passage to the restroom, so aside from regular crowding, people frequently passed by them, and Zhou Wang, standing outside near the passage, had already been bumped several times.

He wasn’t sure if it was an illusion, but someone also touched his butt…

He didn’t even know if it was a man or a woman; how could this slide?

He stopped Shen Yutong, who was ordering with a pad, and asked the salesperson beside him, “Are there any booths available?”

“Sorry, handsome, all the booths are full, not just booths, but even the smaller empty tables are all taken.”

“Can I pay extra?”

Zhou Wang asked, “I can order the most expensive drinks you have!”

“Pfft!”

The salesperson hadn’t replied yet when Cui Min’er, who had overheard, burst out laughing.

“Hey, oppa, can you stop showing off at times like this? The most expensive drink here is just over a thousand. And besides, who would be short of money to sit in a booth?”

Cui Min’er’s taunt left Zhou Wang momentarily stunned. He took the pad and had a look, only to find that, indeed, as Cui Min’er said, the expenses in this bar weren’t that high.

The cheapest beer was 300 for a dozen, and even the most expensive spirits didn’t exceed 3000.

There were no overpriced Divine Dragon Sets, nor any “domestic” Louis XIII…

Zhou Wang was somewhat resigned, no wonder the place attracted so much business, turns out it followed a budget-friendly path.
