The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 53: Chapter 50 This is difficult to assess

Su Yajing was a bit stunned when she fell into Zhou Wang’s arms.

It wasn’t until she felt the warmth of Zhou Wang’s cheek that Su Yajing reacted.

This… happiness came too suddenly!

She often flirted with Zhou Wang over WeChat, but Zhou Wang rarely took the bait. Well, not that he never took the bait; after all, he would always keep every photo she sent and even remind her sometimes that she forgot to send the original image…

But besides silently admiring the photos, Zhou Wang had never shown any rushed behavior.

Who looks at online risqué photos for a week but can refuse the female lead’s real-life invitations countless times?

...

That’s why, even though Su Yajing maintained her enthusiasm, she still felt a bit uncertain deep down.

After snapping back to reality, Su Yajing felt a bit unsatisfied; she wrapped her arms around Zhou Wang’s neck and pressed her lips to his.

Hey hey… Witch, kissing is one thing, but don’t stick your tongue out!

The camera flashes around them almost blinded Zhou Wang. Hearing the heckling mixed with jealousy and envy, the inherently honest Zhou Wang couldn’t take it, so he quickly pushed Su Yajing away.

“Brother…”

Su Yajing’s seductive eyes seemed to overflow.

She didn’t mind the public setting, but instead felt strangely happy because Zhou Wang being publicly affectionate with her ruled out a concern she always wanted to ask him about but dared not.

Her brother definitely didn’t have a girlfriend!

“All right, get back to work for now.”

Zhou Wang patted her smooth waist, “We’ll grab a bite after this wraps up.”

“Okay, brother, wait for me!”

Su Yajing seemed very happy as she bounced back to the Ferrari 812 display stand.

Zhou Wang withdrew his gaze and saw Brother Tu with a twisted expression watching him, his mouth opening and closing as if wanting to say something but failing to speak.

Zhang Zhiyuan and the others were somewhat frozen in place too.

“Ahem… Zhou Wang, who is this girl to you?”

Just then, an aware Wang Qiaobin, sensing the awkward atmosphere, chimed in to ease the tension.

“Oh, a younger sister, also from Caiyi, she probably knows Shen Yutong too.”

Younger sister?

You think you left out the word “dry.”

The few muttered silently to themselves.

Brother Tu’s face was a bit ugly, mainly because there was an episode Zhou Wang didn’t know about.

Before Zhou Wang and Wang Qiaobin arrived, Brother Tu was bragging to Zhang Zhiyuan and others, saying girls like this seemed easy to pursue, but were tough to get in practice…

Turns out Zhou Wang just went and kissed her, looking like the car model was actually more proactive. His face burned with embarrassment.

u1s1, actually Brother Tu’s judgment wasn’t entirely wrong; it was mainly because they encountered Zhou Wang… being handsome and wealthy often equaled doing whatever one wanted.

“Brother Yuan, isn’t that the Ferrari sales representative?”

Zhou Yiquan, annoyed at Zhou Wang stealing the limelight in this manner, turned only to see a group walking over, led by a slightly balding but dignified middle-aged man, accompanied by a blonde, blue-eyed foreigner.

“Yes, that’s Ferrari’s Southwest District sales head, Henry, an Italian. I’ve dealt with him before…”

“The one next to him, isn’t that the auto show manager, Mr. Fan?”

Being car enthusiasts, and since Fan Wei held several roles in automotive and trade associations in Ming City, they naturally recognized him due to his status in the industry.

“Now that the two are coming together, does that mean there’s hope?”

Zhang Zhiyuan hurriedly adjusted his clothing, proactively moving forward, while Zhou Yiquan and others quickly followed.

As was usual, Zhou Wang and Wang Qiaobin trailed behind, and while walking out from the crowd, Zhou Wang even noticed a few uncles holding cameras fervently complaining to a staff member, probably about Zhou Wang and Su Yajing’s indecent behavior…

Zhou Wang paid it no mind.

What law said he couldn’t kiss a car model at an auto show?

At most, you could accuse her of being unprofessional, but it certainly wasn’t illegal.

By the time Zhou Wang approached, Zhang Zhiyuan had apparently already exchanged pleasantries with Fan Wei and Henry, and Henry was just speaking fluent Mandarin:

“Mr. Zhang, throughout the past few years you’ve consistently chosen Ferrari, for which you even furthered your studies at our driving school, which makes me feel honored. But I still regret to inform you that this Ferrari 812C has already been sold, and sadly you’ll have to continue waiting for the next suitable purchasing opportunity.”

Even knowing that Westerners are more direct compared to the more reserved Huaxia people, the eagerly hopeful Zhang Zhiyuan found it hard to believe.

“But I remember just yesterday during our conversation you said this car wasn’t reserved and would try to secure me a purchasing slot?”

“Regarding this, I sincerely apologize to you.”

Henry expressed helplessness, “Some employees at headquarters made a critical mistake; this show car was locked in a week ago, and the buyer is a client from our internal list. I was looking at incorrect data.”

“How could this be?”

Zhang Zhiyuan couldn’t hide his disappointment.

“That’s precisely why I wanted to speak with you face-to-face. Please forgive our oversight, and I will try my best to secure you a spot for the next limited edition model…”

Hearing Henry’s sincere explanation, Zhang Zhiyuan’s expression improved somewhat.

“Zhou Wang, I didn’t expect you to be half-right—this car actually already has an owner.”

Wang Qiaobin whispered.

“I told you it was mine, but you wouldn’t believe me.” Zhou Wang chuckled.

“Hey, brother, don’t you know it’s really impolite to joke around like that at a time like this!”

Zhou Yiquan, looking unhappy, glanced over.

Their conversation had caught Fan Wei’s attention, who looked over, paused, then carefully examined Zhou Wang before tentatively speaking: “Mr. Zhou?”

“That’s me… Mr. Fan, hello!”

Zhou Wang approached and extended his hand.

“Never expected Mr. Zhou to be so young, your voice over the phone always sounded so mature!”

Fan Wei laughed while shaking hands with Zhou Wang, then turned to Henry amidst confused stares from the others. “Mr. Henry, this is Zhou Wang, the name should be familiar to you.”

“Of course!”

Henry’s face quickly lit up with a delighted smile as he approached to extend his hand, “Mr. Zhou, I received the notification from headquarters too hastily, forgive me for not visiting you first.”

“Understandable, understandable. I just want to confirm, are all procedures complete?”

“Yes, there are just a few documents left for you to sign, after which I’ll explain some matters about the after-sales service, and then you can drive away your one-of-a-kind Ferrari 812 Competizione.”

While Henry warmly shook hands with Zhou Wang, Zhang Zhiyuan, Zhou Yiquan, and the others collectively experienced mental short-circuits.

“This car is really mine.”

Wang Qiaobin thought about how Zhou Wang had repeatedly told him this, dumbfounded; so it wasn’t a joke?

No way, how can you say something that impressive in such a calm tone?

For a moment, Wang Qiaobin couldn’t tell if Zhou Wang was showing off or not… it was an incredibly tough call.
