Pillar of Yita

Luo Hao pulled his captain to his side, giving him a hand to help him up. Fang Hong dusted off his clothes and turned around, only to see that the Berserker was still in hot pursuit. Meanwhile, from the Clockwork Fairy’s vision, the Dragonfire Guild’s Dragon Cavalry Gunslinger was mounting his steed.

Clearly, their maneuver had taken them out of the opponent’s maximum range, forcing them to shift the shooting formation.

Without looking back, he immediately said to Luo Hao: ”You head south.”

”Go south,” Luo Hao gasped, exaggeratedly asking, ”You want to do it again?”

Fang Hong shook his head, ”The opponent’s not stupid, I’m asking you to find the Dragon Cavalry on the other side.”

”You want me to hold him off?”

”Buy me ten minutes.”

Luo Hao hesitated, ”What about here?”

Fang Hong glanced at the Berserker and replied, ”Leave it to me.”

His expression turned slightly serious as he raised his hand and spread his fingers. A giant Light Array opened above the forest. The Berserker charged but wasn’t far away when he picked up a Flying Axe, suddenly hearing a shout from his communication channel:

”Watch out above you.”

A sense of danger surged through him. Without looking up, he swiftly rolled to the side—a great crash ensued as a giant statue descended from the sky, landing in his previous position, creating a shockwave at impact that scattered dust and sent leaves swirling around. Squinting in the wind, the Berserker looked up and saw a giant spear slicing through the fluttering leaves, thrusting toward him.

His reaction was quick, raising his giant axe with a resounding clang, standing up to block the spear.

Then he stepped back.

Both were taken aback; it was the first time Fang Hong saw someone withstand an Orphen Twin Stars’ strike head-on. When the Orphen Twin Stars combined, their Strength Rating was at a C-level, capable of instantly annihilating everything at that level. The Berserker, too, was rarely forced to retreat a step.

He raised his head, facing the ’Knight Armor’ holding a Giant Shield and spear firmly standing before him, understanding it was the work of a Combat Artisan. Immortal Knight—a thought flashed through his mind, realizing his opponent was not a Magic Guided Conductor, but a Combat Artisan.

Luo Hao, witnessing this scene, said nothing more, picked up his shield, steadied his breath, and ran toward the forest’s west.

Fang Hong clenched his fist, extending his forefinger. The Orphen Twin Stars once more raised their giant spear, stabbing at the Berserker, who didn’t dare to be careless, wielding his axe to block, parrying twice, then suddenly reaching behind his back to draw a Flying Axe, hurling it at Fang Hong.

The sudden move sent the spinning axe blade hurtling towards Fang Hong like a flash of light, arriving in an instant.

But Fang Hong waved his left hand, and with a mighty crash, a Fired Fist launched, sending both the axe blade and it flying off course.

With a ’click,’ Fang Hong retracted his left claw, forming a fist with his right—Orphen Twin Stars swung their shield at the Berserker, catching him off guard, flinging him away with a shield slap.

The spinning thrown axe finally sunk into the trunk of a nearby tree.

The Berserker landed heavily in a heap of mountain wormwood, covered in fragments of leaves. Though unharmed, he was in a sorry state. He climbed up from the ground, dual-wielding his axe, letting out a furious roar skyward. The magic patterns on his upper body simultaneously lit up, and his muscles swelled as if inflating by a circle.

The Berserker lowered his head, watching the approaching Orphen Twin Stars, and as the dust settled, a sudden realization struck him, identifying his opponent.

The hero of Dolifen, Fanric’s prodigious youth, Dragon Craftsman Ade, Orphen Twin Stars’ ’Knight Armor’ configuration was utterly unique, having appeared for a fleeting moment in the Spire Square battle, discussed countless times online.

Together with the titles bestowed upon Fang Hong by the crowd, it had become a beacon synonymous with Fanric Hero.

People even believed Fang Hong would be Xiuyuede’s successor, the next master of Dragon Knight Xiuma.

But the Berserker only let out a sinister smile.

After the magic power sigil illuminated, pain and anguish transformed into a boundless rage—his heart overflowing with endless battle intent—what heroes of Dolifen, it was merely ripping open Dragonfire Guild’s scars. Old and new grievances surged within him.

What prodigious youth of Fanric, what future star.

”Die for me!” he roared, swinging his axe down at the Orphen Twin Stars.

Fang Hong saw the Berserker leap, astonishingly soaring two to three meters off the ground, a feat beyond human if on Earth.

He raised his head, and Orphen Twin Stars followed suit, raising their shield.

A massive crash, the latter’s left arm emitted a strained groan, standing firm but forced back two or three meters by the Berserker, carving two furrows through the soft humus of the forest ground.

As Fang Hong estimated the damage sustained by Orphen Twin Stars, he pushed with his hand—and the Orphen Twin Stars’ giant shield shoved the Berserker away.

He clenched his fingers, summoning a golden light streaking through the forest. Yet the Berserker seemed to have eyes in the back, stepping back—switching from dual-wielding to single-wielding, clutching the axe handle’s end and swinging it forcefully—the giant axe forming a massive arc.

The axe face struck the incoming Clockwork Fairy, shattering it into pieces.

Fang Hong altered his gesture, sending out two more golden lights.

The Berserker’s eyes were bloodshot, almost instinctively bending his waist, launching a Flying Axe from his left waist, splitting another Clockwork Fairy in two.
