Pillar of Yita

And naturally, cooperating with a person like this is the least of worries.

The two kept conversing, but their faces showed no expression. Fang Hong even kept gesturing with the ”Magic Guided Wand” in his hand, his expression serious as if he was genuinely preparing a powerful spell—a look that suggested this spell could be lethal.

To outsiders, it seemed like Luo Hao was holding up a great shield while retreating, shielding Fang Hong who’s continuously ”casting a spell.” The spell had been chanted for several seconds, the power of which was imaginable.

The Agility Swordmaster saw that the Gunslinger’s two shots were missed and knew he couldn’t wait any longer, revealing himself from behind a nearby tree. He held dual swords in his hands, leaping like a whirlwind, heading directly towards Fang Hong and Luo Hao.

Since every move of the opponent fell within the Clockwork Fairy’s vision, Fang Hong was naturally not surprised at all.

He lowered his voice and said: ”To the east—”

Then suddenly raised his voice, shouting: ”Run—!”

Luo Hao listened without asking why, he gathered his shield and ran eastward.

The Agility Swordmaster froze for a moment seeing this, wondering how these two were so coordinated. The Iron Defender escaping in battle, even betraying the Magic Guided Conductor? Moreover, it was even more bizarre that the Magic Guided Conductor actively asked for this.

Didn’t he hear wrong?

Yet despite his curiosity, his hands didn’t stop moving, regardless of whether the opponent’s coordination failed or not. In any case, an enemy Magic Guided Conductor is best when dead. But precisely at this moment, that ”Magic Guided Conductor” pointed the Magic Guided Wand towards him:

”Immobility Spell!”

”Damn it!”

The Agility Swordmaster of the Dragonfire Guild was in chaos, this Magic Guided Conductor had chanted for so long only to release an Immobility Spell?

Moreover, how could a Magic Guided Conductor even release a Priest Spell?

What kind of mess is this?

He instantly felt a weight on his body, like he was truly hit by an Immobility Spell—except a small construct suddenly sprang from the grass below him, clacking open. It was the Stalker Construct Fang Hong had thrown earlier, deploying the Gravity Trap.

Seeing the opponent bound for a moment by the Gravity Trap, Fang Hong knew the opportunity would be fleeting, not giving the opponent a chance to think, he picked up the Magic Guided Wand again and muttered lowly:

”Flash Spell!”

The Agility Swordmaster instinctively closed his eyes tightly.

But Fang Hong didn’t have any Flash Spell?

He just took advantage of the gravity effect still gripping the opponent to swiftly roll behind him, hiding in a thicket he’d scoped out earlier. Then he activated the Information Crystal, projecting a curtain of light, summoning a construct behind the opponent.

Although the Agility Swordmaster closed his eyes, his level was several above Fang Hong’s, not to mention Combat Artisans weren’t inherently suited to stealth action, his ears twitched slightly, hearing movement behind him.

Meanwhile, the Gunslinger in the forest loudly warned him: ”Behind you!”

He immediately swung a sword backward, but it hit empty air.

Just then, Fang Hong activated the construct he’d projected not far behind the Swordmaster. On opening his eyes, the Swordmaster realized Fang Hong was slipping away towards the forest, oil underfoot.

Yet how could a Magic Guided Conductor escape from the Agility Swordmaster? The Dragonfire Guild Swordmaster decisively pursued, thrusting a sword into Fang Hong’s back, penetrating his coat—he paused, noticing the attire didn’t quite match a Magic Guided Conductor’s.

”Wait, it’s not that way!” The Gunslinger’s shout finally reached him.

The Agility Swordmaster felt the feedback on his sword was off, not the feel of piercing flesh, but rather penetrating metal.

Looking down, he realized the silent fallen object wasn’t a Magic Guided Conductor but a peculiar construct; he paused before recognizing it—an unfamiliar type of Shadow Blade Construct.

Feeling something amiss, he prepared to retreat.

Yet hiding in the bushes, Fang Hong observed the scene nearby, not about to let the opportunity slip, he clasped his fingers, gently swiping his right hand from left to right: ”Teleportation.”

Instantly, the construct before the Dragonfire Guild Swordmaster shimmered, its metallic structure seeming to dematerialize. In its place appeared a somewhat battered Walker III Sword Bearer, apparently incapable of movement.

The Swordmaster hadn’t the time to react before a bright light erupted from the forest, causing pine needles to rain down, a shockwave even swept up Fang Hong into a roll, stopping only several meters away.

Yet he didn’t have time to wipe the dust off his face, instead looking up, as debris still billowed, the Dragon Knight System’s indication confirming everything.

One down.

Just then, he heard a furious roar from behind. Without turning, Fang Hong knew it was the Berserker charging at him. Without hesitation, he shouted towards the eastern forest: ”Raise the shield!”

Luo Hao instantly stopped, reversed his grip and thrust the Great Shield into the ground, facing Fang Hong’s direction.

Fang Hong raised his hand, firing the Flying Claw neatly snagging on Luo Hao’s shield. The Magic Guided Engine activated, retracting the cable, hauling Fang Hong in that direction.

He’d barely moved when a Flying Axe whistled through the air, striking his back on the Magic Guided Reactor before flying off. Fang Hong glanced back, heart pounding— the Flying Axe had split open a long cut on the reactor’s shell, peeling it back, but fortunately the interior remained untouched.

Amidst swirling dust, the Berserker was striding over, reaching for his second Flying Axe.

Fang Hong was alarmed, wanting the cable to retract faster, urgently shouting to Luo Hao: ”Quick, pull me over!”

He didn’t even need to shout, for Luo Hao had already released the shield, grabbing the cable firmly, pulling Fang Hong towards that direction.
