Pillar of Yita

’Morning of May 10—

The weather is fine, visibility is high, and the team waded through Shimmering Galaxy from a southern shoal. During the crossing, we were attacked by a few Jackalwolf People, but there were no casualties.’

Below it was a line of small characters, marked conspicuously in red ink:

’Tomorrow is Hilveld’s birthday’

’May 11, sunny, Hilveld’s birthday, we held a small banquet—’

’May 12, overcast, routine meeting.’

A few ink spots dotted the open diary, actually a line of Nini’s playful little footprints, and the text of the recorded content was very neat, showing the owner’s diligence and commitment.

After the team passed through Shimmering Galaxy, there were no more obstacles heading north towards Idus, and the scenery on both sides of the river began to change. From the lush, green carpet-like southern forest, it turned into steep sand rock cliffs along the riverbanks.

The forest significantly thinned out, revealing the crimson sandy soil below. Huge shadows of clouds drifted slowly along the river valley southward, giving an impression of vast skies and expansive land.

After a few days of disagreement, Tianlan and Luo Yu made up. However, the young girl caught a cold after a chilly night in the forest a few days ago and wasn’t able to attend Hilveld’s birthday party held on the platform.

She is still being meticulously cared for by Ati, waiting for recovery.

Today is the adventure group’s routine internal meeting, held every Monday. The topic is to continue discussing the construction issues of the ”Traveler of the Seven Seas” which haven’t been fully discussed in previous meetings.

Within the adventure group, such meetings were already a habit before Golande’s arrival, which is also one of Miss Ship’s Officer’s main achievements in engaging in team building and the establishment of ship regulations.

However, since its inception, the meetings mainly discussed the construction plan of the ”Traveler of the Seven Seas,” with only a few discussions related to the Dragon Worship Sect and once about the situation in the Southern Region, those times with Sophie’s participation.

During Fanric’s time, the group meetings were interrupted twice, but resumed after leaving Fanric.

And naturally, the topic reverted to the construction of the ”Traveler of the Seven Seas.”

After all, for any adventure group, how to design their exclusive floating ship is a big issue.

Unless there are no conditions, only a second-hand ship can be bought. Otherwise, the necessary equipment and cabins on the ship depend on the different personnel configurations of adventure groups.

For example, if the ship’s members are mainly spellcasters, a magic-guided amplification deck is needed; if the core is melee professions, then boarding and counter-boarding combat need consideration; or if there are many ranged professions, setting up shooting decks and anti-boarding devices.

Or if there is more than one combat artisan in the group, whether to add a lower construct deployment pod needs considering. Additionally, there are all kinds of life profession workshops, laboratories, crystal detection rooms, even beast pens, and upper greenhouses, to name a few.

In the previous discussion, with the addition of Tang Xin and Ai Xiaoxiao, we finally determined how the medical room should be set up—after all, with healers having different beliefs, determining what altar to configure in the ship’s recovery room is the primary task.

Milaila’s High Priest is proficient in restoration and disease removal, weak in recovery and poison removal, so restoring beds and a pharmacy can effectively enhance her healing efficiency.

However, Tang Xin has some different opinions on this, as she cannot stay in Eteliria for long, and there is a graduation exam to attend.

Only Ati persuaded: Milaila’s believers are mainstream healers, and finding another is not a big trouble. Only then did she not oppose further.

On this day, Fang Hong got up very early and went about routinely inspecting the platform. He tied a safety rope and climbed down along the rope net under the ”stern,” because a few days ago, Bakins mentioned to him that the heat dissipation duct at the back of the platform was making strange noises.

As soon as he opened the radiator lid in the back, Fang Hong found it packed with ”surprises”—dried fruits and tree roots.

He was momentarily speechless.

And he realized there were new ”guests” on board. It seemed like it should be a small critter, and since the deck belongs to Daisy, it had to stay underneath.

Fang Hong hung on the rope net and looked below, thinking it probably came aboard off Mr. Greyrock’s back.

He originally intended to clean all this up, but after a moment’s consideration, he gave up on this decision.

So he climbed back up to the deck, grabbed some planks and nails from his workshop, picked up a hammer, and clanged out a small house. His woodworking skills naturally fell short of Luo Yu’s, and the final product was quite crooked and ugly, but Fang Hong didn’t mind at all.

By this time, others had gradually gotten up, and Gita and Ai Xiaoxiao looked curiously at the thing in his hand, quietly asking what it was for. Fang Hong explained the matter to them, and the two young girls were a bit surprised.

After all, little girls inherently have little resistance to small creatures like these.

Ai Xiaoxiao guessed it was a gray squirrel, while Gita, as always, sided with Fang Hong, thinking it was a Red-Necked Tit, both common creatures in this area.

And Ai Xiaoxiao looked at the ”box” in Fang Hong’s hand and asked:

”Cousin, is this a mouse trap you made?”

Fang Hong looked at the supposed ”house” in his hand, his face turned slightly red:

”...This is a house I made for it.”

”Ah?”

On the platform, Reed was trimming claws, it raised its head and gently sniffed the wind coming downstream from the river valley, the golden rings on its whiskers tinkling.
