Pillar of Yita

Elisa then said: ”So the other party’s average level is higher than ours, I suggest you all think less.”

But just as she rendered the two speechless, she heard Fang Hong say softly:

”It’s not like there’s no chance.”

”Mr. Ade, even you...” Elisa suddenly felt that this team was doomed, even Ade had been infected by these unreliable guys. Of course, how she concluded earlier that Fang Hong was very reliable, she herself wasn’t sure—

Fang Hong shook his head: ”I’m not saying we should recklessly charge up, you all saw, even with more people, in this kind of environment, they can’t protect themselves safely. They’re supplementing their losses in battle by continuously bringing in more people, but what if they make a mistake?”

”We can stay in the dark, the enemy in the open, there’s always an opportunity,” he looked at the others, somewhat confident: ”Even if there’s no chance, at most we won’t make a move, it’s not like we’ll lose anything.”

Elisa still felt a bit worried: ”That’s easy to say.”

Fang Hong was about to say something more, but at that moment his communication crystal lit up suddenly, and when he looked down, it displayed Luo Yu’s communication insignia.

Looks like there’s news from the Big Catfolk and Bakins.

He gestured for everyone to stay calm, then opened the communicator and asked: ”How’s it going on your side?”

Reed’s voice came through the communication channel: ”Ade, we’re encountering some minor issues on our side.”

”Oh?” Fang Hong had a vague feeling.

Sure enough, the Big Catfolk continued: ”After we reached the planned destination, we found others hiding in the valley here, they also seem to have plans for the hill giants’ settlement.”

”Those are Dragonfire Guild people.” Fang Hong could almost confirm this point: ”We’ve also encountered them on this side, I guess they might have other intentions.”

”Dragonfire Guild people?”

The few on the other side seemed a bit surprised. The Big Catfolk asked again: ”Ade, so what do we do now? If they’re from Dragonfire Guild, they definitely won’t let us lead the hill giants away.”

”Wait for now,” Fang Hong thought for a moment, and an idea gradually took shape in his mind: ”I guess they’re there, they’ll make a move sooner or later, at that time you follow them, we need to first see what exactly they intend to do.”

”Ade, what do you mean?”

In Fang Hong’s view, the plan of Dragonfire Guild and their adventure group should have differences in this respect.

Their plan was to let the hill giants and the Panier Cunning Spiders fight, then hide on one side and reap the spoils. But judging by the last battle, it’s not like Dragonfire Guild can’t directly wipe out a small or even medium spider group head-on.

Judging by the results of their battle, drawing the giants to fight the cunning spiders this way seems both unnecessary and inefficient.

But since they’re setting an ambush there in the valley, they must be up to something besides daydreaming.

Recalling the conversation he overheard between the ’Big Sister’ from Dragonfire Guild and the Magic Guided Conductor, a bold idea emerged in his mind—he previously thought that ’it’ referred to the Dragon Witch.

But now it seems the prediction was somewhat off. The ’it’ they mentioned should refer to the Panier Cunning Spider’s Spider Mother.

Or even the Spider Queen.

Fang Hong took a subtle breath, feeling that the other party was playing big.

But he wasn’t worried at all about Dragonfire Guild playing too big, in fact, he vaguely hoped they would go as big as possible, because the bigger the fire they start, the more likely they are to catch fire themselves. As for those opportunities that weren’t originally there, wouldn’t they naturally arise?

Fang Hong extinguished the communication crystal and glanced at everyone: ”The people from Dragonfire Guild must have another plan, I think we can follow them and see.”

Everyone had listened in on his conversation with the Big Catfolk and had no objections naturally.

Luo Hao was even a bit excited: ”I’m starting to like your team a bit more, much better than that Yuwen Yu guy.”

”Of course,” Fang Hong felt a bit inflated by this comment: ”Our adventure group will one day be one of the best in Eteliria, you’ll gradually see that in the future.”

The Papalarians beside them just rolled their eyes at this comment.

But before everyone set off, they needed to inform the three ladies left on the platform that they were safe. And tell them the plan had changed, they might be staying longer in the canyon, so they shouldn’t worry about this side for now.

But as Fang Hong opened the communication crystal, he was met with a series of terrifying screams from the other end, which startled him immensely. He quickly asked Tianlan what was going on.

But from Tianlan’s communicator, Ai Xiaoxiao’s voice came through: ”A spider got in, cousin.”

”Huh?” Fang Hong asked urgently: ”Is it an adult or a juvenile?”

”No,” Ai Xiaoxiao shook her head: ”Just a normal big spider.”

”Normal spider?” Fang Hong was momentarily speechless: ”Where’s Tangtang, let her come, I have some things to tell you all.”

Ai Xiaoxiao glanced back and replied: ”Tangtang and Tianlan are being chased around the house by it, they probably don’t have time to answer you right now, cousin.”

Hearing the chaos of chickens flying and dogs jumping in the background, Fang Hong couldn’t speak for a long time.

Finally, he sighed and explained the situation on this side to Ai Xiaoxiao, and asked her to help relay it once they were free over there. Although judging by the level of terror in the background noise, it might take a while for his cousin and Tianlan to calm down.

Fang Hong turned back to see everyone laughing secretly.

”What’s so funny,” Fang Hong said angrily: ”It’s not like you aren’t afraid of spiders.”

”I’m not afraid.”

Xiangzi answered honestly.

”Shut up.”
