Pillar of Yita

Miss Miya also heard the knocking and looked back: ”Your beautiful Miss Ship’s Officer has arrived.”

Fang Hong simply nodded: ”Yes, she’s also my companion.”

With a slight twitch of her silver-tipped ears, Miya quietly watched Fang Hong, her pallid silver gaze seeming to pierce through time. The knocking didn’t sound again, and the room’s air had layers of glittering dust floating up and down, peacefully and slowly.

Suddenly, the girl raised her hand—her hand suspended in midair, fingertips delicate, the color of her skin as if it had just been exposed to the air, milky and lustrous, almost like a piece of glass art with a glistening layer in the afternoon sun. It took Fang Hong a while to understand her meaning, and he hesitated a bit before also raising his hand.

Miss Miya watched with leisure, her expression pure. She watched as the fingertips of both hands met, each palm gently passing through the other, then touching.

At that moment, the back of both their hands, one left, one right, each revealed half of a Crown’s mark. In that instant, Fang Hong felt his heart skip a beat, as if a latent, invisible tidal wave swept through his mind, shaking him to the core.

It was like a bolt of lightning passing through their arms, linking them together. In that moment, Fang Hong saw what was in Miya’s heart, and in return, her serene gaze cut through layers of fog, landing in his heart.

The two seemed to merge into one, inspecting the small room from different perspectives, but this illusion lasted only an instant, and shortly after, Fang Hong returned to the original space-time. As though his once full heart had suddenly emptied, he looked up blankly at Miss Miya, somehow unable to discern what had just happened.

Miss Miya just pointed with her fingertip to her own chest.

Fang Hong was startled, only to find that something had been added to his system, and under the talent ”Twin Stars,” there was a new line of delicate silver text—Olympus’ Twin Stars are the most peculiar trait of destiny in the Eteliria Star Sky. Those with the Twin Star destiny watch over each other, promise each other, and carefully guard their past, present, and future lives, as if an infinite thread is passing through the Star Sky, across time and distance, linking them together.

Talent (Stars of Twins): Those with the Twin Star destiny will be able to share each other’s lives equally—

Fang Hong suddenly widened his eyes, realizing that his Starlight had increased significantly, almost by half—simply put, it was like having an additional chance at resurrection.

And seeing this talent, he naturally understood where his Starlight had come from, and as his Starlight had increased, Miss Miya’s had certainly decreased.

”Miss Miya, you...”

The girl spoke softly: ”From now on, a part of my life is also within yours.”

This somewhat tender statement struck Fang Hong’s heart; he opened his mouth, momentarily at a loss for words.

But as Miss Miya looked at the young man, a hint of complexity arose in her heart. She outwardly claimed Fang Hong was her ”little boyfriend,” but that was simply to deceive others and protect him. However, from this moment on, their destinies had truly intersected in a peculiar way, and at least in this world, this timeframe, the converging line of their lives would be difficult to part.

”The destiny talent will grow deeper with strengthening power, and since we share one destiny, I, too, will benefit,” Miya spoke quietly: ”What you see now is but a tiny part of it, and I hope that one day, I will see you in the Second World—”

Fang Hong slowly nodded.

The Second World was also his target.

Although not necessarily the end, it was at least a beginning.

At this time, the knocking sounded once again, but this time Hilveld entered directly, the beautiful Miss Ship’s Officer wearing a black and white tight leather armor today. Her open collar, like black swan feathers, was edged with pretty gold trim, and the hem resembled batwings, like a black velvet long dress.

She raised her head, like an elegant swan, curiously watching her Captain awaken, her eyes lighting up slightly, but she wisely refrained from speaking and instead focused on the hands of the two.

Only then did Fang Hong realize he was still holding Miss Miya’s hand. His face reddened, and he hastily let go. Miss Miya, unembarrassed, kept her usual serene expression, glanced at her hand where the half silver Crown delicate and intricate, and then put it down.

”Miss Miya.”

Miss Miya gave Hilveld a slight nod.

Hilveld stepped over the threshold, holding up her skirt, her eyes moving fluidly and uncertainly between the two: ”It seems, Miss Miya, that you knew the Captain quite early indeed?”

”Yes, earlier than you—”

With her pointed ears twitching, the girl from the Wolf Clan replied.

Hilveld just smiled slightly, squinting her eyes like a cat.

Fang Hong suddenly felt the atmosphere in the room was somehow off, so he subconsciously shrank into the covers, trying to pretend he was still recuperating from a serious illness and appeared as a patient. However, he looked too lively and rosy to be anything but someone who had just had a good sleep.

But Miss Miya didn’t see any issue with her response. She looked at both individuals and said: ”I have something to tell both of you.”

Only then did Hilveld let go of her skirt, looking at Miya.

Miss Miya thought for a moment and said: ”The search for the Second Star Bridge is the unchanging grand plan of the Descendants of Flor. Many Guilds return from the Second World to Eteliria, aiming to find the four Obelisks scattered across the First World.”
