Pillar of Yita

That moment.

In the Underground World, everyone saw a pyramid suspended above the erected altar, flashing an incredibly bright Flash above it.

Then, starting from the Bone Mountain clung to the altar—the Holy Remains of Salrutaka began to slowly crumble, roaring as it rolled down, followed by the entire altar and the pyramid above it, gradually disintegrating, falling apart, and plummeting into the abyss below.

The lone island in the center of the entire valley seemed to completely lose its Divine Strength to suspend at that moment, fracturing in parts and sinking into the surging fog below—while the Obelisk on it also fell in layers, disappearing from view eventually.

In the final moment, the remaining people seemed to see two figures, one left and one right, simultaneously jumping onto the suspended island where the Obelisk was, and sinking into the ground with it.

And at that moment, the entire Underground World finally quieted down—

The central area of the Holy Sanctuary seemed to stabilize, no longer trembling uncontrollably, and those remaining in the valley of the pyramid stood still, looking at each other—was this considered a success? But the question was, where had the Sealing gone?

Atop a pyramid, Xiangzi also stared blankly asking Parker beside him:

”Captain, did the captain fall down?”

Parker looked at him, then at the huge crevice below, shook his head blankly, and sat down with a flop.

”That figure just now... was that Miss Hilveld?”

Xiangzi asked again.

But what puzzled him was—the remaining figure.

Who could it be?”

...

Cloud Harbor.

Amid screams and shrieks, the Cloud Sea, previously drawn out from Overseas, was rolling back, forming a thick Cloud Wall in the sky, like a tsunami, crashing toward the narrow coastline outside the harbor. Before the Cloud Wall even arrived, its astonishing destructive power was already demonstrated, with the outer edge storm creating tornados that ripped the lighthouse atop the cape to shatter, lifting it into mid-air.

Rooftops within the Port District were blown off one by one, with tiles, beams, humans, and livestock thrown into mid-air, as fierce winds howled and lightning flashed, resembling a scene of doomsday, but old sailors knew this was just a prelude to the rage of the Cloud Sea, the real trump card was yet to come.

”Ether backflow!”

Someone in the harbor cried out in despair.

As if responding to the tremors generated at the center of Fenris Isle, an ether echo was produced overseas and swept over with a speed faster than sound, hitting the entire southern coastline of Fenris Isle, slightly impacting the docks of Cloud Harbor,

In the terrified vision of the people, the piers reaching into the harbor were disintegrating, and airships that could not return to the harbor in time were smashed back onto the docks, and a wave swept through the harbor, hitting the storage area of the dock, followed by a moment later, the misplaced huge sound thunderously transmitted.

The entire Cloud Harbor shook, buildings collapsed one after another, and nearly the entire harbor area was sinking into the Cloud Sea below, and the cracks continued not just with the elevation of the terrain but rose by levels, gradually affecting the Lower City Area.

The commoners who had poured from the harbor area into the Lower City Area let out earth-shattering cries, swarming toward the Upper City District, congesting outside the city gates of the Inner City. Guards, pale-faced, came to inquire whether the gates to the Upper City District should be opened, while the residing merchants and nobles, already numb, just weakly waved their hands.

In the face of nature’s fury, what difference did opening the gates make? Let these poor souls in; by the saints above, pity these helpless subjects.

At this moment, people finally realized that their Guardian had already left them, though few knew that everything at hand was crafted by Toragotos himself, they only hoped for the gods’ mercy, yet the Divine Strength of just one Milaila Sanctuary was incapable of countering all this.

Within City Hall, one of the highest points of Cloud Harbor, the Old Regent and the Bishop, faces ashen, watched this scene. Behind them, in the trembling hall above, a crackling sound emerged — the clock tower finally collapsed, the bronze bell crashed through several floors and struck the hall, crashing into the floor with a resounding thud.

The priests, terrified, scattered like birds and beasts, streaming out, their parchments scattered on the ground. They had been calculating the time for the second echo’s arrival, but now their efforts were in vain.

”No need to calculate anymore,” said the Bishop, shaking his head.

For the second echo had already formed on the horizon, soon to arrive with the Cloud Wall. At that moment, Cloud Harbor and its over one hundred thousand citizens would be wiped from the map.

Everyone seemed to understand their fate at that moment, and people stopped. Mothers held their children, weeping loudly, husbands grasped their wives’ hands, and people turned around to face the most terrifying scene above the Cloud Sea.

Some knelt down, devoutly praying to the saints, some cried, some were hysterical, but no matter how the people vented, the scene before them seemed destined not to change.

Only one priest found the City Hall’s Transmission Crystal beneath the ruins of the clock tower, listening in disbelief to the faint words coming from within:

”...The storm is weakening, my fleet is preparing to try and pass through the storm circle, please guide the direction for Cloud Harbor, respond if received...”

”The storm is weakening?”

As the priest staggered with the crystal to the crowd, the old man and the Bishop exchanged glances.

The ground was slightly shaking, almost making everyone unsteady.

”Ask which fleet it is,” said the Bishop.

But before the old man finished speaking, a tsunami of cheers suddenly came from the direction of the Upper City District.

Everyone turned their heads back.

Then they saw a miracle — gaps appeared above the Cloud Wall, the fierce winds in the port were weakening, the Ether echo swept over the Overseas, but as it entered the shallow water area, it gradually dissipated from people’s sight.

Until it became invisible.

The ground’s shaking started to lessen, and beneath people’s feet, Fenris seemed to be calming down.

Everyone fell silent, only the persistent drizzle from the sky continued. Suddenly, someone seemed to shout, ”There’s a ship!” At the horizon’s end, behind the layers of clouds, a vague shadow appeared.

The silhouettes of two fleets’ sails emerged in the distance.

”Report, a fleet sighted at five o’clock on the port side, distance four hundred and twenty-four, confirmed as the fourth fleet of the Kingdom of Ishurian,” said the transmission officer.

”Signal them with flag language,” said the Officer.

Fourth fleet of the Kingdom of Ishurian, flagship Ishurian Lion—

Captain Iguris, upon hearing the transmission officer’s report, couldn’t help but laugh loudly, his gray beard trembling. He waved forcefully, bellowing, ”It’s our brave allies — men, full sail ahead, Cloud Harbor is ahead!”

Accompanied by a long horn, a flurry of silver sails was raised.

The two fleets sailed side by side through the clouds.
