Pillar of Yita

Afterward, the Crusaders fractured, and Silver Weslan rose unexpectedly, leading the China Competition Region through its second prosperous period—this was the dynasty era of Silver Weslan.

Miya spoke eloquently, recounting what was actually a well-known historical account, but coming from the wolf-eared girl, it took on a different meaning, as if she breathed life into a tranquil period of history.

A historical river flowed to the present day.

The afternoon sun wandered through the cabin, casting its light on the girl’s profile, glowing softly as if solidifying like curd. But Miya seemed not to notice, continuing to say, ”Not long after the Battle of Bain, V.E.M officially disbanded, and then reformed into three guilds, Ragnarok, Moon Dust, and Chosen Children, and it was from this time that the roots of division for the domestic divisions were sown—”

Fang Hong could understand this quiet recitation.

On one side was the Rose Cross Army, God Slayers, formed by defectors from V.E.M.

On the other side were the three former alliances, Ragnarok, Moon Dust, and Chosen Children, that emerged after the disintegration of the V.E.M alliance, with ideologies sharply opposed from the start, how could they coexist peacefully?

This, in fact, is the origin of the history of the Rainbow Alliance (Rose Cross Army, God Slayers) and the Descendants of Flor (Former Alliance). Flor is the revenge-seeking giant from the mythology of Colin Ishurian, and with this namesake, the Former Alliance’s intent to reclaim the supreme position of the old V.E.M alliance was clear.

But what no one expected was—

In the ten years that followed, the crown would be taken by a defector from the Rose Cross Army—Silver Weslan. This brother from the same Rose Cross Army naturally also adhered to the former’s ideology.

With this, the Rainbow Alliance gained an early victory in this struggle.

In the following ten years, due to the dominance of the Silver Weslan family, they were unparalleled in their splendor.

In light of this reality, the Descendants of Flor had to adopt a conservative strategy, but the struggle between them never crossed a certain line—this was also a tacitly accepted fact for the sake of internal competition within the local competition region.

As Miya spoke, she finally turned her head, ”Have you heard about the Mount Holy Pact incident?”

Fang Hong’s heart skipped a beat, and he nodded.

”Starting a few years ago, Silver Weslan gradually fell from grace,” Miya said, ”The Descendants of Flor switched from defense to offense, the struggle between the two became increasingly intense, and the Mount Holy Pact incident occurred against this backdrop.”

Fang Hong was startled.

As an onlooker, he didn’t fully understand the inside story at the time. Although there were many speculations, there was no definite conclusion. Miya’s confident words gave him a sense of unreal surrealness.

But upon further reflection, it seemed logical.

”The guilds behind the banned competitors were not actually under the Rainbow Alliance, but during the struggle, these people were used as sacrifices to eliminate threats,” Miya continued, ”While this event didn’t make much noise on the surface, it had a profound influence—because those who are silent will often not speak up, instead expressing their opinions through actions.”

As she spoke, Miya’s expression didn’t change, while Fang Hong furrowed his brows.

He had heard about this history.

Afterward, the protest against the dominant guilds’ monopoly became widespread, leading to the second prosperous period for the domestic free summoners. Loofah emerged during this era and became part of a lone wolf’s legend.

Soon after, numerous small individual and team organizations sprang up like mushrooms after rain, and among them, a precedent was born for the second world—that was the first free guild to appear directly in the second world instead of originating from Eteliria—Mount Holy Pact Organization.

In fact, the name of this guild was a silent protest in itself.

It was from this incident that the Super Competitive League lost its moral foundation due to this unjust act, and internal division was born from that point on, with the guilds losing the broad support of the public.

Miya spoke softly, ”To this day, the frequent defeats of our national competition region in foreign confrontations actually have early roots—”

”The failures in resource struggles have gradually attracted higher level attention. Military involvement is a precursor. The Super Competitive League understands this, so to recover the situation, they had to initiate an early-established grand plan,”

”A grand plan?” Fang Hong was taken aback.

”To find the Second Star Bridge—”

Fang Hong’s mouth fell open—he had a revelation. That’s right, the Star Bridge is another name for the Continental Bridge, and it’s common knowledge that the V.E.M alliance was the first to open up the second world for summoners, laying the foundation for a decade-long dynasty.

The New World was pregnant with infinite opportunities, and the first competition region and guild to go there could naturally gain unimaginable benefits.

”The history of searching for the Second Star Bridge is longstanding, and the natives have been acting much earlier than us,” Miya’s voice was soft, like a distant wind blowing through the wind chimes by the window, ”But Invokers are more disciplined and have stronger initiative, and after we inherited their ancient information, we made even more progress—”

”Nations actually had plans and preparations for exploring the third world long ago and they are quite comprehensive. This decade has witnessed a gradual maturation of these opportunities,” she continued, ”Some have deciphered from the Abyssal Sea Scroll—the key to the third world actually lies in the Holy Relics left behind by the Numelin Elves.”
