Rebirth in Another World as the Undead Queen

The Sudden Appearance of the Undead

Blood Knight Light Armor (Purple): Upon equipping, increases mental power recovery speed by 30%, reduces damage taken by 20%, and comes with the skill ’Bloody Trail.’

Bloody Trail (Tier Three): After use, immediately cleanses all negative and control effects, grants 30% agility boost when moving toward a wounded unit, and for each wounded unit within a ten-meter radius, increases strength attributes by 10%, up to a maximum of 50%.

”Combat-type light armor, and paired with this reap-type skill, it’s completely unsuitable for me. Besides, I already have the commander-type ’Death Chanter Attire.’ Looks like this equipment was never meant for me.”

Serea pondered in her mind and quickly determined the rightful owner of this equipment.

”Alright, all in all, this can be considered a bountiful return.”

Serea spoke, and although she still had a lot of materials left, they would be needed later for building the camp, so for now she couldn’t afford to ’waste’ them.

Satisfied, she exited the consciousness space. Upon returning to the real world, a mass of black mist appeared in Serea’s hand, rapidly condensing into a blueprint and a set of equipment, as well as countless black experience gems.

At this moment, Serea was still lying on Celia’s lap. The warmth of the lap pillow made Serea somewhat reluctant to move, but in the end, she raised her head.

”Awake so soon?”

”Just thought a little about some things.”

Serea replied, then handed the light armor set to Celia.

”Here, try on this equipment.”

Seeing the gorgeous light armor, Celia froze for a moment. As for the armor appearing out of thin air, it was probably some sort of spatial item. Besides, just by the look, this light armor was clearly very valuable, and to this, Celia responded—

”This equipment radiates with magical energy. It must be a magical item. Such a precious treasure, you should give to your subordinates.”

”Huh? What do you mean, my subordinates?”

”Aren’t they? They’re very loyal and won’t betray you. This kind of battle armor would be just right for Eighty.”

”But I want to give it to you now. Just look at your battle armor, it’s already falling apart.”

Serea asked, and upon hearing this, Celia looked down at the battle armor she wore.

Just as Serea said, though Celia often maintained this light armor, due to the lack of a professional armorer, after so many battles, it had grown somewhat worn.

Especially the stitched-up tear at the light armor’s shoulder, which was left from when Celia let Serea drink her blood.

”Here, take it. Only after your strength increases can you better protect me, right? Don’t forget your promise to me.”

”...”

Celia stayed silent. She looked at the gorgeous armor. For a battle-type Holy Knight like her, it was undeniably attractive, and her own armor was indeed...

”Thank you, but I don’t have the money to repay you.”

”Don’t be so distant.”

Serea pushed the armor toward Celia, but Celia simply put it away without showing any intention of putting it on. Seeing this, Serea urged her.

”Come on, put it on.”

”...”

”How would you know if it fits unless you try it? Go on, put it on.”

Urged by Serea, Celia left the caravan. Although changing armor just required removing the outer protection, her knightly reserve prevented her from undressing before others.

A few minutes later, Celia returned to the caravan, now wearing the splendid light armor.

”Looks pretty nice.”

Serea praised. Celia simply drove the carriage quietly, but suddenly, Serea came out with another line.

”Come on, open your mouth.”

”???”

Celia showed a confused expression. Serea repeated herself.

”Open your mouth, ah~”

Serea demonstrated. Though still uncertain, Celia did as she was told.

”Ah~”

Serea seized the opportunity and popped something directly into her mouth.

Tasting the sweetness, Celia was still puzzled until the ’candy’ melted and a warm current surged through her body.

Instantly, her eyes widened.

Because she could feel her strength increasing!

With the effect from one tier 2 and nine tier 1 experience gems, Celia leveled up to 24.

That’s right—what Celia had eaten was an experience gem. Serea had long thought that those gems looked like ’candy jewels,’ and now it turned out, they really were...

Eating or simply using them produced results, so why not just eat them like candy?

Likewise, Serea herself also consumed an equal number of experience gems and shared the same amount with Lola. Except for Lola, whose level was already as high as 26, both Serea and Celia gained a level.

As for the remaining tier 1 experience gems, Serea distributed them to Vina, Little White, little Red, and Eighty.

Their levels were still low and needed to be improved quickly. Thus, the rewards from this round of the lottery draw were all allocated.

They continued toward the designated location. With the Skeleton Labor Platform (purple), once they arrived, the camp could be quickly established, and by then, the migration would be considered a complete success.

But the journey could never be perfectly smooth. An Elven archer was currently dashing madly toward them.

”Stop, everyone, stop! There’s something up ahead!”

The Elven archer ran to Serea and reported,

”Your... Your Majesty, a large swarm of skeletons and zombies have appeared ahead, blocking us.”

”Skeletons and zombies? Impossible. We’ve already left the zombie eruption area.”

”I... I’m not sure either. Since we left the zombie outbreak zone, we haven’t encountered any zombies, nor have we seen such a mass of skeletons and zombies before. Lord Little Black and the others are carefully approaching the area now. He sent me back to inform the Queen to halt the teams behind for now, because there might be danger ahead.”

”Understood.”

Serea replied, then looked at Lola beside her.

”Have everyone stop for now. I’ll go ahead and take a look.”

”Alright. Be careful, queen.”

”I will.”

With that, Serea took Celia with her, borrowed a direwolf, and with Dogsius directing, the two of them charged ahead on the direwolf.

They quickly caught up with Little Black, who was gathering the Skeleton Warriors and skeletons for assembly. Judging by the formation, the enemy ahead seemed tough; all four Skeleton Vanguard squads had mobilized.

”Your Majesty the Queen!” x4

As Serea approached, Little Black and the other three skeletons greeted her in unison.

”Tell me about the situation up ahead in detail.”

”Reporting to Your Majesty the Queen: a large number of skeletons and zombies have appeared on the forest path ahead—around eighty zombies, thirty skeletons, and they are led by a Skeleton Warrior. They have surrounded a human caravan.”

Hearing this, Serea frowned.

A path? Humans? This shouldn’t be within normal human activity range.

And the Undead were attacking a human caravan—with not just zombies, but skeletons and even a Skeleton Warrior!

This gave Serea a sense of something unusual.

”Come on, let’s go and have a look.”

Serea ordered, and with her command, the Undead troops marched forward.
