Rebirth in Another World as the Undead Queen

Blood Slave Outbreak

”What... what kind of monster is that?!”

After cutting down a Skeleton Warrior, cliff looked on in terror at the nearby scene, only to see a giant beast begin to move its massive body. Its tentacle-like vines swept horizontally, directly sending several soldiers who failed to block in time flying through the air.

”Ugh ah!”

”M-monster!”

With the Bloodfiend Treant’s appearance, the human soldiers collectively fell into terror, and from the moment the warbeast arrived, victory had already been decided. So, in order to harvest more Fear Crystals, Serea had Little Black and the others slow down their attacks, and even the Skeleton Warriors retreated slightly.

The frontal battlefield was left to the Skeleton Warriors, while the others provided support—all the while, Fear Crystals were produced continuously.

As for why the Skeleton Warriors were also pulled back...

First, it was to preserve her elite forces, since reviving them cost too much. Second, Serea wanted to see for herself just how strong Lola, a member of the blood elf royal family, truly was.

”Senluoluo, assist our Undead friends!”

”Yes, my master!”

With that, senluoluo ceased attacking, drove his roots into the ground, and then activated his skills.

Warbeast—Inspire (Tier 2): Within a one-kilometer radius, allies gain the ”Inspire” effect; all attributes increase by five percent.

Senluo (Tier 3): Within a radius of five hundred meters, allies gain fifty percent resistance to negative effects; when actively released, it cleanses one random negative effect from all allies in range and accelerates their injury recovery.

Bastion Will (Tier 3): Within a one-kilometer radius, allies gain the ”Bastion Will” effect; damage taken is reduced by five percent, knockback effects reduced by twenty percent.

With all auras fully active, the Skeletons benefited from Senluoluo’s buffs and Little Black’s ”Fear Roar”. Their attributes were enhanced and they gained various benefits.

”Sha sha sha!”

The Skeletons roared. Originally, their average level had only been level 10, but with all these enhancements, their attributes were forcibly raised to around level 13. In addition, the human formation was now scattered and in disarray, so these Skeletons, previously mere cannon fodder, now fought like they were on stimulants, beginning a massacre.

A sword slashed into a human warrior’s chest; as the man fell, a horde of Skeletons pounced, dismembering him with sword after sword.

This was no isolated incident—Serea was surprised to find that the individual power of the Skeletons now overwhelmed that of the human soldiers!

All of this was thanks to Senluoluo’s buffs.

Ding!

Blades clashed; Cliff struggled mightily to push a Skeleton away before slashing it, shattering the Skeleton into a pile of bones.

Yet, after the bones scattered, the Skeleton was not dead—the soul fire still burned, and its bones were slowly reassembling. Thanks to the healing buff, this process was quick.

”Damn it, is this really a Skeleton?!”

Cliff couldn’t help but doubt himself, while Senluoluo, right before his eyes, used vines to drag in several soldiers.

”Ahhh, help!”

Under the shocked gazes of everyone, the spikes on the vines pierced into the soldiers’ bodies, turning them into dried corpses. The blood in their bodies was then used by Senluoluo as fuel to continuously release buffs.

”Advance, nature shelters you!”

”Sha sha sha!”

Rooted at the back, senluoluo provided support. Under his leadership, even the weakest Skeletons now had the capacity to battle fully armed human soldiers—perhaps even surpass them.

As a result, the defense line the human soldiers had just managed to reestablish was instantly shattered again, while Serea and the others only stood at the rear and watched, not making any further moves.

The enemy’s numbers dwindled rapidly; blood and white bones blanketed the ground, screams echoed throughout the camp, and what was once a sacred place had now turned into a living hell.

Victory was now inevitable, and all Serea had spent were ordinary Skeleton soldiers.

However, while observing, Serea suddenly noticed something. She focused her gaze on one human, who seemed to be enduring something—though he had no wounds on his body, he showed an expression of pain.

”Oh? Is it beginning?”

Serea spoke. At that moment, the man suddenly began to struggle, and next, his eyes filled with blood veins, his pupils turning red.

”Ah!!!”

He screamed.

As he struggled and screamed, he looked around and then saw a companion with their back to him.

”Blood! Give me blood!”

Thereafter, he threw away his weapon, and looking at the back of his former comrade, he lunged forward directly.

Fangs bared!

As a blood slave deprived of sufficient Blood Spring (corruption) supply, he completely lost his reason, transforming into a beast that only craved blood in his madness.

Embracing the archer, his fangs bit directly at the archer’s neck—one bite, and his fangs pierced right through the cloth on the archer’s throat.

”Who... ugh ahhh!”

Feeling the blood being slowly drained from his body, the archer wailed, wanting to break free, but the blood slave’s strength was too great, so he was left with nothing but to let his blood be sucked out.

”What are you doing?!”

A soldier nearby tried to stop it, but suddenly, another soldier burst into attack as well, blood-red filling his eyes.

This situation was like a virus outbreak, spreading rapidly—one crazed soldier after another bared their fangs.

Some were counter-killed, but more were thrown down by these frenzied ”humans”.

”This... this is impossible, impossible!”

Watching his men suddenly go mad, cliff’s mind was seized by terror. Nothing before him could be explained by common sense—just what was happening here?

While Cliff was thinking, a crazed soldier lunged at him. For a moment, he failed to react, and as he stared at his subordinate baring fangs at him, he could do nothing.

Puchi!

In that critical moment, a guard charged out and drove a blade into the chest of Cliff’s former companion, then kicked him away. Though this did not kill him, he still saved Cliff.

”Sir, we have to go! The enemy is too strange—we must retreat immediately!”

The guard’s shout pulled Cliff back to reality. Seeing the sudden madness erupting among his men, he bellowed out.

”Yes, retreat, retreat now!”

Cliff shouted, running for escape without a second thought. With his subordinates blocking the Skeletons ahead, he still had a chance to get out!

However, a human commander as strong as level 25 actually abandoned his troops to block the enemy for his own escape.

Yet, this could hardly be blamed on him—these enemies were too strong, too weird. With the sudden addition of the crazed soldiers, the human defensive line completely collapsed.

What Cliff was thinking...

”I can’t die yet, I am a hero of humanity, I absolutely can’t die at the hands of these aliens! My glorious career has only just begun!”

Run!

As long as he fled back to Lord Annika’s camp, these aliens would be powerless against him. Bringing the information back, Lord Annika would surely lead troops to exterminate these aliens.

So...

Cliff ran desperately toward the wooden palisade. As long as he got up there, then jumped out of this damned camp, he—a junior swordsman hiding in the woods—might still have a chance to escape!

Even though his men blocked the Skeletons, the crazed soldiers chased after him. Seeing the ”monsters” drawing ever closer, cliff knew that once caught, it would be over!

Hence, he made a desperate and crazy decision...
