Berserk God of War

186: Chapter 186: Return with Great Momentum 186: Chapter 186: Return with Great Momentum “Brother Jing, where are we?”

Su Yuexi had no idea where Sikong Jing had taken her, nor why Sikong Jing could bring her back to life, let alone why Sikong Jing had transformed into such a terrifying demon beast before…

But none of that mattered, her Brother Jing was just so omnipotent.

What’s more, when Brother Jing turned into the demon beast, her heart ached; not because of his ugliness, but because it seemed like he was gradually failing to recognize her.

And now, to have Brother Jing back to normal was better than anything else.

“This is a nameless great lake deep within Ru Yun Mountain,” Sikong Jing replied with a smile.

This was where he had seen the Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrel the last time.

When the Golden Divine Dragon mentioned needing to find a great lake, the first place Sikong Jing thought of was here, the largest lake near Yunzhou City.

“It’s so beautiful!”

Su Yuexi walked out from the makeshift wooden hut by the lake that Sikong Jing had put up temporarily; the lake water, which had been a bright red, had restored its clarity at some unknown point.

It was as if the area was filled with spiritual energy, and the fresh air made one want to shout cheerfully.

Little fish splashed up, hatching from eggs that had absorbed the essence of the Thousand Beast Flower Blood Drops.

In the future, they would grow into demon fish.

With an air of sentience, they danced about, poking their heads out of the lake, and seemed to bow in the direction of Sikong Jing as if worshipping him.

“If possible, I’d really like to live here,” Su Yuexi said with a smile, still looking somewhat weak on her face.

Sikong Jing chuckled and, looking in the direction of Yunzhou City, said, “Soon, all of Yunzhou will be ours, and then you may live wherever you wish.”

This was Sikong Jing’s promise; from the moment a million personal soldiers appeared, he had resolved to take over all of Yunzhou.

Soon after, the Transcendent Flying Blood Colorful Winged Horse, which originally belonged to Xia Dalian, let out a long neigh, carrying Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi toward Yunzhou City.

Naturally, no demon beasts dared to approach them along the way…

Shortly after they left, hordes of demon beasts rushed to the lake to drink, and this place would become a sacred location in Ru Yun Mountain!

…

The atmosphere was still tense in Yunzhou City!

Four whole days had passed, and Yunzhou City had been tightly besieged by Xia Country’s millions-strong army.

At this moment, Xia Dalian stood upon a tall and majestic horse, pointing at the city walls.

“Sui Yu, I spared your life and even sent troops to aid Sikong Jing.

I even warned Sikong Jing about Yuwen Guan’s return, and this is how you repay me?” Xia Dalian said with a face full of rage.

It had been four days, and she had not seen Sikong Jing’s face nor knew whether he was dead or alive.

In any case, the one always talking to her had been Sui Yu, the murderer of her Eldest Imperial Brother.

And Sui Yu had always been giving her the runaround.

“Princess Die Lian, I’ve told you, Sikong God General was taken away by Yan Ruyu.

If you want to subdue Sikong God General, then break out of Yunzhou and fight your way to the Great Shang Imperial City,” Sui Yu replied loudly.

Sui Yu was also very anxious at this moment,

When they had managed to return to Yunzhou City, what they saw was the body of Prince Zhenyun atop the city wall.

After that, the million-strong army had breezed into the city, fought their way to Yunzhou Prefecture, and besides a bloodbath involving palace attire and Royal Guards, they found nothing else.

Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi were nowhere to be found, nor were Yan Ruyu and Manager Nian.

They had searched the entire city, but there was not a single clue.

Then the Xia Country’s army arrived, surrounding Yunzhou City and clamoring for Sikong Jing to surrender to Xia, otherwise promising a full-scale assault.

But even Sui Yu had no idea where Sikong Jing had gone, so what could he do?

It was most likely that Yan Ruyu had taken him away.

But four days had passed, and if Yan Ruyu really had taken Sikong Jing away, it would be odd for her not to return to mock them.

Of course, it could also be due to the presence of Xia Country’s army, which may have temporarily deterred Yan Ruyu from showing herself.

Therefore, Sui Yu called for Xia Dalian to attack the Great Shang Dynasty.

“Sui Yu, we have received the most reliable information.

Yan Ruyu did not take Sikong Jing away.

The Shang Country is now gathering a large army, preparing to attack Yunzhou.

Stop deceiving me,” Xia Dalian said, her face looking particularly grim.

She had truly believed that Sikong Jing had been captured, but the news she had just received was absolutely certain.

Sui Yu and others were also stunned upon hearing this.

If Sikong God General wasn’t captured by Yan Ruyu, then where could he be?

Was his older sister Su Yuexi still alive?

On the other hand, Xia Dalian shouted angrily, “Sikong Jing, come out here right now.

I don’t care if you’re grieving over the death of your wife, I want your answer now, will you surrender or not?”

“Stop hiding from me, or I’ll tarnish your reputation.”

“I, Xia Dalian, have traveled thousands of miles to Yunzhou City to save you.

Stop playing dead and ignoring me within the city.”

The shrill mockery resounded throughout the city!

The information they had gathered indicated that Sikong Jing had been forced into the city by Yan Ruyu, who used his wife’s life as the leverage, and then, for some unknown reason, Yan Ruyu had fled the city and even escaped Yunzhou…

So Sikong Jing must be inside the city, just pretending to be dead and not wanting to repay her.

Damn it, he even wants to use me to fight against Yan Ruyu and Yuwen Guan’s Shang Country’s army.

No way!

“Sikong Jing, if you don’t come out now, do you believe that I will order the attack on your city?” Seeing no response from the top of the city walls, Xia Dalian angrily shouted again.

The next moment, a strange sound came from the sky, “Princess Die Lian, I’m really not in the city.”

As soon as these words came out, everyone, both inside and outside the city, widened their eyes.

They turned their heads in disbelief, looking towards the sky from where a blood-winged warhorse was flying in, with a majestic man standing on it, if not Sikong Jing then who?

And his horse was the Flying Blood Colorful Winged Horse.

The millions of soldiers from Xia Country turned their heads in unison, staring blankly at Sikong Jing on the Transcendent Warhorse, and behind him, a beautiful figure could be vaguely seen.

Atop Yunzhou City, Sui Yu and the Five Dragons Admiral stood erect with tears in their eyes, muttering, “Divine Commander Sikong!”

“Divine Commander Sikong…”

Following was a series of frenzied shouts, as if releasing long-suppressed emotions.

Suddenly, the voices soared to the sky, breaking through the clouds and reaching the heavens.

Sikong Jing also stared deeply at Yunzhou City and called out excitedly, “My brothers and sisters, I apologize for making you wait and worry.

I, Sikong Jing, have returned alive.”

The words “I have returned” profoundly resonated within the city, with echoes all around.

“Divine Commander Sikong…”

The million soldiers within the city responded in unison, their voices thunderous and incomparable.

“Ajing has returned, Ajing has returned, hurry, hurry, hurry…”

Su Zhenglong and Mei Xiaofang were living in the same courtyard as before.

They ran out of the yard, and Mei Xiaofang even tripped and fell, but ultimately, it was Su Zhenglong who carried her towards the city wall.

Sikong Jing had returned, but what about Yue Xi?

Outside the city, such a terrifying momentum had the millions of Xia Country’s soldiers’ brains buzzing.

Pupils constricting violently, Xia Dalian was slightly shocked and astonished.

She had never received such a tremendous reception while leading troops, nor had she seen her soldiers be as fervent as the million-strong army inside Yunzhou City.

So this was the Invincible God General, the legendary Sikong God General…

All of a sudden, Xia Dalian’s gaze fixed on Sikong Jing, trembling as she pointed at him and asked, “My Flying Blood Colorful Winged Horse, why is it in your hands again?”
