Berserk God of War

175: Chapter 175: Sui Yu’s Backstabbing 175: Chapter 175: Sui Yu’s Backstabbing “Sikong Jing, once you were awe-inspiring, the greatest general of all time for the Great Shang Dynasty…”

“But you are merely a lowly commoner, all your achievements could only serve as a dowry for me, Yuwen Guan.

Now, throughout the Great Shang Dynasty, everyone knows the Invincible God General Yuwen Guan, but not the Invincible God General Sikong Jing.”

Yuwen Guan bellowed, his face twisted menacingly as he stared at Sikong Jing.”

“And after I merge with your Dantian, I, Yuwen Guan, will be able to break through the Transcendent, becoming the foremost expert of the Great Shang Dynasty within a year.

What do you have to fight me with?”

The voice thundered out, sinister and venomous.

Beyond the million Personal Soldiers, Fan Zhong among the War Mansion Soldiers, and everyone else including Ah Hu and Old Zhang, all trembled uncontrollably.

They stared in disbelief at Sikong Jing…

So it turned out that Brother Sikong was indeed the Great Shang’s Invincible God General, and his formidable prowess was not without reason.

It made sense now why he could so rightfully take Yanyun City.

Especially for people like Fan Zhong, they finally understood how Sikong Jing had managed to escape the pursuit of the millions-strong army from Xia Country.

Invincible God General, omnipotent indeed.

At this moment, those on Sikong Jing’s side were not discouraged by Yuwen Guan’s words; on the contrary, they felt even stronger and more confident.

To be honest, in terms of verbal attacks, Yuwen Guan was far inferior to Yan Ruyu.

Sikong Jing smiled indifferently, not caring in the least as he spoke, “Achievements are fought for.

Those without the ability to take hold of achievements and titles are merely in vain, and will eventually not be acknowledged by others.”

“And you, Yuwen Guan, are so worthless that you’ve already started to lose in the first battle.”

“You think to take my title, attempting to conquer Yan State from Xia Country right under my nose and claim a great victory?”

“Sadly, you lack the capability.

You are nothing but a prodigal son to me!”

As soon as he said the words “prodigal son,” Yuwen Guan almost spat out a mouthful of blood, and it was indeed a fitting description.

In the first battle, he had lost the reputation of the Invincible God General.

“I will kill you, I must kill you…”

The series of defeats in the Xia Country had struck Yuwen Guan excessively hard.

He gnashed his teeth, roaring madly, and suddenly shouted, “Sui Yu, don’t you want a high position?

Kill Sikong Jing, the man you hate the most, and I shall appoint you as General Zheng Yun.”

Although he was filled with hatred, he was not impulsive.

Instead, he first let someone he wanted dead, go up and wear down Sikong Jing.

You said I don’t know how to fight?

I’ll show you.

Sui Yu was stunned, then joyfully charged out, saying, “Yes, Yuwen Divine General, I will…

kill you, motherfucker!”

No sooner had he spoken than Sui Yu, approaching Yuwen Guan, suddenly thrust a sword into his lower back.

The blade pierced straight through, exiting through his Dantian, before he withdrew the sword and declared, “Dare to covet Brother Sikong’s Dantian, go to hell!”

Then came the second sword, viciously stabbing into Yuwen Guan’s heart.

With a ‘pfft,’ blood gushed forth from Yuwen Guan’s heart, shocking everyone present.

But in the next instant, Yuwen Guan did not die, but instead roared, “Sui Yu, you too are Sikong Jing’s man, how dare you backstab me…

I’ll blow you away!”

Yuwen Guan, pierced by two swords, continuously howled as he hurled a Transcendent Peak True Qi blast at Sui Yu.

Sui Yu was also stunned, then frantically retreated, taking the full brunt of Yuwen Guan’s palm strike.

Boom!

With a loud explosion, Sui Yu was violently blasted away by Yuwen Guan, crashing among tens of thousands of strong men behind him.

Just at that moment, however, Sui Yu flew up high, carried by an expert from Jin Sect who accompanied him, dashing towards Sikong Jing’s direction.

Sui Yu spat out blood from time to time, clearly suffering from serious injuries…

The tens of thousands of strong troops led by Yuwen Guan were also stunned, and then chaos ensued.

Some ran to Yuwen Guan’s side, urgently saying, “Divine General, are you alright?”

Others just stared blankly at Sui Yu’s retreating figure, murmuring, “Sui Yu, this number one profligate of the Great Shang Imperial City, is actually at the peak of the Transcendent Third Realm.

How is that possible?”

Indeed, Sui Yu was at the peak state of the Transcendent Third Realm; otherwise, he would not have been able to hold out for so many days back in Yanyun City.

“He’s actually one of Sikong Jing’s men?

Wasn’t he the one who hated Sikong Jing the most?” another person muttered to themselves.

Everyone found it hard to believe.

After all, back in the Great Shang Dynasty, Sui Yu had been treated even worse by Sikong Jing than Yuwen Guan had been.

Nobody would have thought that Sui Yu was actually in cahoots with Sikong Jing.

Meanwhile, Sui Yu, spitting out blood, joined the Jin Sect experts by Sikong Jing’s side, and then said with a mouth full of blood, “Damn it, how is Yuwen Guan still not dead after being stabbed by my sword twice?”

Sikong Jing’s icy gaze was fixed on Yuwen Guan as he said, “He has already set one foot into the breakthrough to the Transcendent realm, as his heart and Dantian are undergoing a transformation.

He’s not that easy to kill.”

Sikong Jing, who had also once been on the verge of breaking through, knew very well the state Yuwen Guan was in.

Unless Sui Yu reached the Transcendent Fifth Realm, stabbing Yuwen Guan twice wouldn’t kill him.

“However, those two stabs of yours have at least temporarily weakened his strength.”

Having said this, Sikong Jing took a deep breath and ordered, “All of you, listen to my command, fight your way back to Yunzhou City, and break out through another city gate.

Time waits for no one.

Charge…”

Their bodies shook at his words.

Their current state clearly wouldn’t be enough to break through the blockage by Yuwen Guan’s tens of thousands of strong warriors, so they had to turn back.

Since Yuwen Guan’s core forces were here, the opposite city gate wouldn’t be guarded by forces as strong, but they had to act quickly, before Yuwen Guan’s powerful troops could catch up…

Then, Sikong Jing gave another order, “Demon Beast Knights, cover our retreat!”

With a thunderous turn, over a million men began fighting their way back into Yunzhou City.

After that, Sikong Jing turned to Sui Yu, “You’re too impulsive.

What about the Sui Family?”

Those two stabs could very likely doom the entire Sui Family.

“It’s okay, I left a note for my dad telling them to seek refuge with you in Yunzhou,” Sui Yu chuckled, “I believe that Brother will surely win this battle.

At the very least, we’ll take over all of Yunzhou.”

Hearing this, Sikong Jing stared deeply at Sui Yu.

He was betting his entire family on Sikong Jing’s success!

Of course, with a thousand Jin Sect experts now involved, it was also very difficult for Sui Yu to return, and the Sui Family was in constant danger.

Sikong Jing said no more but instead looked at Sui Yu intently and asked, “Can you still hold on?

If you can, immediately unlock the True Qi Lock for our brothers, every one counts.”

It was only now, by his side, that a presence at the level of the Transcendent Third Realm finally existed, capable of unlocking the True Qi Lock.

“Of course.

I will start right now,” Sui Yu said, without a moment’s hesitation, and flashed out.

But the Five Dragons Admiral was too strong.

Among the five of them, two were at the Transcendent Fifth Realm and three were at the Transcendent Fourth Realm.

Sui Yu, of course, could not unlock the True Qi Lock on them, only managing to unlock those of the Extraordinary Third Realm.

Yet, it took him a full quarter of an hour to unlock the first one.

However, once the first was unlocked, two people could work on unlocking together.

Boom, boom, boom…

By the time they fought their way from one city gate to another, they had unlocked over a hundred people.

The million-strong army of Personal Soldiers inside burst into action, each of them howling to the sky.

They finally broke through the other city gate of Yunzhou City, only to find another large force of Yuwen Guan’s waiting outside.
