Berserk God of War

177: Chapter 177 Beast Heart Awakens 177: Chapter 177 Beast Heart Awakens Within a few breaths, Luu Ji, the leader of the Five Dragons Admirals, stepped forward without hesitation, “Divine Commander, we must fight our way back, to rescue madam!”

Every pair of eyes turned red, as everyone knew Sikong God General was a man who deeply valued his relationships.

Had it not been for this, he could have ignored the lives and deaths of a million people, continuing to bide his time for another year or two!

Therefore, all were resolute in their loyalty.

But just as the words were spoken, with a thunderous rumble… Yuwen Guan and his grand army, bringing billowing clouds of dust, were already approaching from the rear with terrifying momentum!

They were now caught in a pincer attack; if they did not break out, they would face extreme peril.

One breath, two breaths, three breaths…

Sikong Jing abruptly opened his mouth and shouted, “All soldiers, heed my command, break out!”

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone eagerly exclaimed, “Sikong God General…”

Especially those hundred thousand who had witnessed Su Yuexi slapping Yan Ruyu and then leaping into the demon beast trench without a second thought, they knew precisely the kind of person madam was.

Was the Divine Commander truly going to abandon her?

They were men who should have been dead, saved by the Divine Commander and madam; they could not sneak away like cowards, clinging to life.

Grinding his teeth, Sikong Jing spoke deeply, “All demon beasts, heed my call, follow me and kill our way back to Yunzhou City!”

Roar roar roar…

One demon beast after another bellowed towards the sky, no second thoughts given.

The command of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts was not something they could refuse; they were purer than humans, ignorant of the word ‘betrayal.’

At this moment, the Five Dragons Admirals glared with wide eyes and tried to persuade him, “Divine Commander, you must not!”

The Divine Commander was actually planning to lead the demon beasts back alone; it was an impossible battle to win.

Even just to break through Yuwen Guan’s grand army would be extremely difficult.

Sikong Jing’s face remained stoic as he stepped onto a demon beast and, looking deeply at everyone, said, “You all need to recover your True Qi quickly, that’s what matters.

If I fall in battle, seek revenge for me, Yunzhou will be your territory.”

Having said this, Sikong Jing then turned to Sui Yu, saying to the soldiers: “After I leave, all of you follow the commands of Sui Yu.”

Then, Sikong Jing looked intently at Sui Yu and said, “The lives of our brothers and sisters, I entrust to you!”

Afterwards, Sikong Jing patted the demon beast beneath him and turned, facing Yuwen Guan’s grand army, he had to break through no matter what; he had to return to Yunzhou City.

Even if it meant death, he would die together with Su Yuexi.

But just at this moment, Sui Yu suddenly bellowed, “I disobey the order.”

“Hmm?” Sikong Jing trembled all over, whirling to look at Sui Yu, eyes flashing sharply.

There, Sui Yu, comparable in beauty to a lady, with eyes red and swelling, slowly knelt down and spoke softly, “I disobey the order.

Please punish me in the next life, Divine Commander.”

Having spoken, Sui Yu’s True Qi of the Transcendent Third Realm burst forth, sweeping like a raging wind toward Yuwen Guan’s grand army.

“Yuwen Guan, don’t you want to kill me?

Here I come!” Sui Yu roared towards the heavens, charging forward with reckless abandon.

Sikong Jing stood rooted to the spot, then roared madly at the demon beasts, “Stop him!”

Suddenly, thousands of trusted aides with unlocked True Qi Locks knelt down, “We disobey the order, Divine Commander, please punish us in the next life.”

After speaking, they stood and rushed forward in Sui Yu’s direction…

Then, nearly a million Personal Soldiers simultaneously said, “We disobey the order, Divine Commander, please punish us in the next life.”

They reversed their mounts and one by one, spurred their horses galloping fiercely towards Yuwen Guan’s grand army.

Ah Hu and Old Zhang caught each other’s eye, their eyes red to the extreme, filled with dense blood vessels, and they trembled, “Brother Sikong, we have followed you for two months in our lifetime, causing earth-shattering events, it has already been worth it!”

Shedding hot tears, they led their hundred thousand strong back, charging out.

Only Fan Zhong and his War Mansion Soldiers were left on the field; their hearts shuddered violently, they were so bewildered.

For some reason, an urge to just die in battle surged within him…

“I, Fan Zhong, am really goddamn unlucky!” Having said that, he turned around and charged into battle with no regard for his life!

Standing atop the demon beast, Sikong Jing trembled violently, tears streaming down his face uncontrollably.

He saw Sui Yu and thousands of experts, who had unlocked their True Qi Lock, rushing towards Yuwen Guan amidst the intertwining of blood.

He saw the million troops behind him charging frantically, even though they would have unlocked their restraints if they could just hold on for half a day more.

“Why are they fighting so desperately for me?

What virtues or abilities do I, Sikong Jing, possess?

How can I, Sikong Jing, ever repay them?”

Sikong Jing let out a long howl to the sky as his blood boiled and surged madly at that moment.

“I want power, I need power, I can’t wait, I want every kind of power there is, no matter what it is.”

Thump thump…

Suddenly, Sikong Jing’s heart pounded heavily.

“Even if I turn into a demon, a beast, or a ghost…

I, Sikong Jing, shall fear nothing; grant me the power to tear all my enemies to shreds,” Sikong Jing said through gritted teeth, in a frenzy.

And at that moment, he too, riding the demon beast, charged out without a care for his own life!

How could he just watch as his brothers died for him?

Thump thump…

His heart struck heavily again, and the blood within him not only boiled but also began to flow faster.

It was just like a torrent of molten lava…

Meanwhile, in the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison.

One after another, slumbering demon beasts were aroused, lifting themselves into the air.

They widened their beastly eyes in shock.

The Black Prison Devouring Sky Tiger growled, “The Beast Heart is awakening, the true Beast Heart!”

“So soon, what has stirred this human?” the Golden Dragon Divine Dragon commented with a deep and distant look in its eyes.

Then, the Divine Turtle that had been lying on the ground suddenly stood up, the chains on its back clanging loudly, saying, “This is bad, this Beast Heart is too wild, it will cause him to lose his sanity, and he is very likely to turn into a Blood Devouring Demon Beast…”

All the demon beasts were stunned; a human’s Beast Heart awakening and transforming swiftly into a Blood Devouring Demon Beast?

That was something even demon beasts feared, a terrifying entity born when a demon beast became demonized.

If the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts was to become a Blood Devouring Demon Beast, the consequences would be unimaginable.

If that were to happen, the whole world would collapse because of him.

The Golden Dragon Divine Dragon spoke hoarsely, “The moment of awakening is when it’s easiest to become demonized, especially for humans, whose multitude of trivial thoughts and emotions can lead them to demonization.”

“We must suppress his Beast Heart,” a colossal Caidie spoke.

“No, we can’t suppress it; we need to let him unleash it.

The things he holds dear must be saved.

I will now use the Heavenly Eye to see what’s happening on the outside,” the Divine Turtle replied.

After speaking, the power of the Divine Turtle converged on its eyes, and then its spirit shook slightly.

Under the watch of all the beasts, the Divine Turtle said, “Many people are dying for him, at least a million.”

The beasts fell silent…

Then, the Black Prison Devouring Sky Tiger said again, “Our power is enough to go out and save them, but this could likely draw the attention of the Five Heavenly Emperors; we must not act rashly.”

“We must save him.

The Master of Ten Thousand Beasts has already begun showing Demon Scale,” said the Divine Turtle, its voice rough with urgency.

All the demon beasts were shaken again.

It was too terrifying, too rapid.

“Hmm?

The majority of these millions are locked by the True Qi Lock; simply unlocking their True Qi would do,” added the Divine Turtle suddenly, clearly having discovered the issue with Sikong Jing’s million personal soldiers.

“Let me…”

The large spider that had spoken earlier opened its mouth, “Send out one of my molted legs, it contains a small amount of toxin that can stimulate the nerves in a human’s meridians, and it should be able to unlock at least half of the people’s True Qi Lock.”

“Plus, my shed skin won’t have too much strength, so it won’t attract the attention of the Five Heavenly Emperors.”
