Berserk God of War

154: Chapter 154: Prince Zhenyun, You Have No Right to Touch Me 154: Chapter 154: Prince Zhenyun, You Have No Right to Touch Me “Ten years, a full ten years!” Su Zhenglong trembled all over, tears streaming down his face.

Although he didn’t know why the criminal from the million battlefield wanted to shake Heir Yan Ao to death, the prince who had made them suffer for ten years had finally died, and he had died right before their eyes.

Perhaps, this was the retribution for his complete and utter wickedness!

Su Yue Immortal sat on the ground softly, finding it hard to believe the scene before her, hard to believe that the high and mighty Heir of Prince Zhenyun had just died like this, the relief coming so suddenly.

Her tears slid down one by one, touching the long scars on her face, deep imprints left by ten years of pain.

“Brother Jing, are you really okay?”

Su Yuexi had been watching Sikong Jing the whole time, as he had just vomited blood and looked extremely ill.

He had trembled all over just now, as if she could still hear the sound of her husband’s heart shattering, and now his face was streaming with tears.

As if by telepathy, Su Yuexi felt a profound ache in her heart.

Sikong Jing pulled back his hollow gaze and forced a smile, “I’m fine; the Su Family’s great vengeance has been avenged.”

At this moment, Fan Zhong approached and asked with a trembling voice, “Brother Sikong, why did the criminal of the million battlefield want to shake Yan Ao to death, and why are they kneeling towards our yard?”

A terrible thought had occurred in his mind, could it be that the criminals were kneeling to Sikong Jing?

Otherwise, why would they shake his enemy, Yan Ao, to death?

Sikong Jing slowly lifted his eyelids, and said slowly, “I don’t know, Yan Ao or perhaps Prince Zhenyun may have been their enemy, and they might be kneeling to some leader of theirs who was harmed by Prince Zhenyun.”

He didn’t admit it because he still needed to use Fan Zhong.

If Fan Zhong knew the truth, he would probably report directly to the Lord of Yunzhou, saying that he hadn’t suffered a complete severing of his meridians.

For now…

patience, patience, patience.

All his brothers and sisters had come to Yunzhou City, and as long as he could rescue them, then he would no longer be bound within the small confines of Yunzhou territory; then, it would be a vast sky where birds can fly freely.

Suddenly, Sikong Jing asked hoarsely, “Fan Zhong, Mo Yang has told you everything about my plan to insert a hundred thousand troops, hasn’t he?”

Upon hearing this, Fan Zhong’s pupils shrank drastically.

“What exactly are you planning to do?” Fan Zhong naturally had heard from Mo Yang.

And now he also knew that Sikong Jing was in fact the exiled criminal given in marriage by the Lord of Yunzhou, and the move to insert a hundred thousand troops chilled his heart, making him fear a terrible event was going to happen.

“It’s the Sui Family Heir who wants it.

This will be a struggle, and you must choose a side,” Sikong Jing replied.

Sikong Jing could only first pull Sui Yu into it, to instill fear in Fan Zhong.

As expected, Fan Zhong’s heart trembled greatly.

What came to mind was: Someone wanted the Sui Family Heir dead in Yanyun City and even brought out the Great Shang Emperor Order, meaning a dreadful power struggle among the Great Shang upper echelon.

“Can I choose not to?” Fan Zhong wanted to cry, he truly wanted to remain neutral.

He had not gone into Yanyun City to rescue people simply because it was the command of the Lord of Yunzhou, it was against his will!

“You can, but if the Sui Family Heir wins, what you’ll face is his execution and my hundred thousand soldiers,” Sikong Jing’s cold gaze pierced through, “Because if you don’t choose, you can only be on the side of the Lord of Yunzhou.”

His mind reeled again, Fan Zhong thought of Sikong Jing’s terrifying hundred thousand soldiers, and for a moment, his heart reached peak panic.

“If you report to the Lord of Yunzhou now, you also won’t live through the night.”

“Thousands of Jin Sect experts will soon arrive at Yunzhou City.”

Sikong Jing applied more pressure, his tone full of oppression.

With his heart quaking violently, Sikong Jing was married off by the Lord of Yunzhou.

Then, in this struggle, the Lord of Yunzhou would naturally stand opposed to the Sui Family Heir, which made Fan Zhong grow increasingly terrified.

“What benefits do we reap by standing on your side?” Mo Yang piped up at this time.

Sikong Jing scoffed coldly, “At the very least, you could survive the night.”

“Also, if the Sui Family Heir were to be defeated, I would lead you to seek refuge with Xia Country, whose Princess holds me in high regard.”

Looking at each other, Fan Zhong and his three associates, in fact, had no choice.

Of course, if they knew that the Sui Family Heir was challenging the Ninth Princess, Yan Ruyu, the Emperor of Great Shang, Yang Tianmo, the so-called Invincible God General Yu Wen Guan, they certainly would have cut and run.

But they didn’t know, and all they knew was that the Sui Family Heir would not spare them.

“Alright, we’re in,” Fan Zhong declared after a long hesitation.

Sikong Jing smiled and nodded.

He then dispatched Ah Hu and Old Zhang to follow Fan Zhong to facilitate the arrival of the one hundred thousand troops from Yunye City and Qingyun City…

Subsequently, Fan Zhong asked, “How shall we deal with the death of Heir Yan Ao?”

By now, he had ceased to treat Sikong Jing as an ordinary man, even showing a bit of respect—what choice did he have when his life was in Sikong Jing’s hands?

“Make up any excuse for your arrival, just don’t say it’s to help me, and report everything else about the Su Family’s grievances truthfully to the Lord of Yunzhou,” Sikong Jing said nonchalantly.

Just as they had settled matters, the previously shouting strategists of the Lord of Yunzhou also arrived in the courtyard.

When he saw the bodies of Yan Ao and his men, he too was stunned.

He had just received a report from the escorting soldiers and couldn’t believe it, but indeed, they had been shocked to death by the million battlefield criminals.

“Why would the million battlefield criminals kneel?” The strategist of the Lord of Yunzhou couldn’t figure it out.

About Sikong Jing’s true identity, within the boundaries of Yunzhou, only the Lord of Yunzhou himself knew.

Regarding this question, Fan Zhong merely shook his head and responded, “Not quite sure, Lord Strategist.

Who is this million battlefield criminal?

He looked quite terrifying just now, didn’t he?”

“It is said that during the unrest of the Seven Countries, they were part of a rebel army under the Invincible Divine General Yu Wen Guan,” the strategist explained what he had heard through the grapevine and then added, “And their presence here probably indicates some action against Xia Country.”

At this, Fan Zhong cast a surreptitious glance at Sikong Jing and exhaled deeply.

If these men were from the rebel army under the Invincible Divine General Yu Wen Guan, then they couldn’t possibly be associated with Sikong Jing, or else he would certainly be one of them, and he wouldn’t have been granted a marriage by the Lord of Yunzhou.

Because the Lord of Yunzhou was far from qualified to deal with people under the Invincible God General.

“Lord Fan, what brings you here?” inquired the Yunzhou Strategist with some curiosity.

After some thought, Fan Zhong replied, “The Su Family of Yunye City has a feud with Heir Yan Ao.

The Heir sought to kill their entire family, and since I was at the Heir’s villa, I just came over to join the fun.”

He lied without hesitation; after all, with Yan Ao and his men dead, no one could expose him.

“Guards, watch the Su Family members closely; don’t let them leave, and wait for the Zhenyun Royal Mansion to deal with them.”

Thinking this, Fan Zhong then ordered the War Mansion Soldiers and turned to the Yunzhou Strategist, “The death of Heir Yan Ao is no small matter; we must hurry and report it to the Lord of Yunzhou.”

After speaking, he gave Sikong Jing a deep look and then left.

Ah Hu and Old Zhang naturally blended in with the Yunzhou War Mansion Soldiers and followed them out.

Once only the people of Yunye City were left in the courtyard, Mei Xiaofang, who had finished venting, came over and asked, “Ajing, shouldn’t Fan Zhong be obediently listening to you?

Why then did he send troops to surround us?”

Sikong Jing replied with a smile, “It’s just a formality.

After all, Yan Ao is a son of Prince Zhenyun.”

Upon hearing this, Su Zhenglong asked with worry, “Ajing, Prince Zhenyun likely won’t let us off lightly, what should we do?”

Sikong Jing chuckled again, “Father-in-law, rest assured, Prince Zhenyun is not qualified to touch me.”
