Berserk God of War

169: Chapter 169: We are Willing to Die in Battle for Yunzhou 169: Chapter 169: We are Willing to Die in Battle for Yunzhou A thousand Jin Sect experts stood with cold faces, offering no reply.

Sikong Jing spoke for them, “Fan Zhong and Mo Yang led six hundred thousand soldiers and broke through Yanyun City to rescue them all.”

Hum!

Fan Zhong’s head rang again, he wanted to say he really hadn’t, but it seemed he had.

At that time, he was the nominal commander after all!

Then, a Jin Sect expert with a chilling face, glared at Yan Ruyu, “The Ninth Princess ordered us to die, knowing full well that Xia Country’s Eldest Prince was in Tianlong Villa, yet she still sent us to our deaths…

What have we done to deserve this?”

One by one, their auras soared into the sky, their gazes sharp and piercing.

Yan Ruyu was stunned, another unexpected development had occurred.

But she sneered faintly, “As subjects of Great Shang, dying for the foundation of Great Shang is only natural.”

Her voice wasn’t as forceful as before.

With a thousand Jin Sect experts protecting him, killing Sikong Jing wouldn’t be easy now.

“We are willing to die for Great Shang, but we are not willing to die when we clearly could have lived.”

“Just because Commander Sui Yu shares renown with Yuwen Guan, you decided to send us to our deaths.

Is your heart made of blackness?”

The Jin Sect expert spat out each word, his body trembling violently.

They didn’t want to rebel, but Yan Ruyu forced them to.

As soon as the words fell, Yan Ruyu was stunned, her eyes widened as she coldly turned to Sikong Jing, “Sui Yu, is he your man?”

Sikong Jing revealed a faint smile but did not answer.

Then his voice slowly vibrated out, “Fan Zhong, what are you still doing?”

Finally, Fan Zhong’s body shook wildly, gritting his teeth and roaring.

“All War Mansion soldiers listen, the Ninth Princess Yan Ruyu has caused the death of six hundred thousand soldiers.”

“I had broken through Yanyun City, but she ordered not to rescue the Jin Sect’s important figures, leading to the total destruction of six hundred thousand soldiers.

We could have been saved at that time, we could have returned in triumph.”

“But because of her selfish desires, she wanted us to die in vain!”

Upon saying this, Fan Zhong swept his gaze across all the War Mansion soldiers present and bellowed, “Now follow me and Young Master Sikong to execute this venomous woman!”

With no way out, Fan Zhong was all in!

However, Yunzhou’s War Mansion soldiers did not all obey the command and instead split apart, creating a scene of utmost chaos.

Some, moved by bloodlust, followed Fan Zhong in rebellion, while others rushed to the Lord of Yunzhou, expressing their allegiance.

In an instant, the Martial Arts Arena became a tumultuous mess…

Suddenly, a roar came from outside, “Brother Sikong, all nine hundred thousand brothers have had their shackles cut!”

The speaker was Ah Hu!

At the same time, another voice rang out, “Divine Commander, please give the command to execute Yan Ruyu, we are willing to die in battle for Yunzhou.”

This time, it was Luu Ji, the head of the Five Dragons Admirals.

“Please give the command, Divine Commander Sikong, to execute Yan Ruyu, we are willing to die in battle for Yunzhou.”

Following him was the unified shout of the so-called criminals, their voices soaring heavenward, piercing through the clouds, shaking the earth.

Thump…

Inside the Martial Arts Arena, a hundred thousand so-called criminals knelt on one knee.

“Please give the command, Divine Commander Sikong, to execute Yan Ruyu, we are willing to die in battle for Yunzhou.”

Wave after wave of pleas echoed through the arena, causing everyone’s mind to thunder, and a terrifying Battle Aura swept both inside and outside the Martial Arts Arena.

Those with weaker auras had already fainted on the spot.

But Su Zhenglong’s daughter and Su Yue Immortal stood there, dumbfounded.

Sikong Jing was referred to as Sikong God General?

Fan Zhong and Mo Yang blinked their eyes.

Sikong God General seemed to be very imposing, and it was only now that they realized Sikong Jing had been deceiving them.

When the million battlefield criminals first entered the city, they had knelt before him!

So, was he really just a rebel under the Invincible Divine General Yuwen Guan?

There was no time to think too much.

Fan Zhong gritted his teeth and, along with Mo Yang and the other three Deputy Commanders, knelt on one knee, “Sikong God General, we are willing to die in battle for Yunzhou.”

A thousand Jin Sect experts knelt to the ground, “We are willing to die in battle for Yunzhou!”

The entire scene froze at this moment, with Sikong Jing becoming the focus of everyone present, his brilliance completely overshadowing Yan Ruyu.

However, Sikong Jing’s expression remained cold as his hoarse voice rang out, “Dying for Yunzhou is easy, but I, Sikong Jing, cannot let my brothers die in vain.

Everyone listen, stand by!”

Fan Zhong and the others raised their heads, puzzled.

Wasn’t now the best time to strike with the momentum they had?

Only the million personal soldiers knew that Sikong God General did not want them to go off to die in vain because their True Qi had been locked within their bodies.

Right now, a million of them were not even a match for minor soldiers from the Bright Realm.

Even if they could win this battle, they feared there would be countless dead, their blood soaking the earth.

Their teeth drew blood, their hearts filled with indignation at Sikong God General’s restraint, yet they were moved by his command.

“Hahaha…”

“Sikong Jing, what are you still waiting for?”

“Yuwen Divine General will arrive in Yunzhou City in half a day, you should be fighting desperately now, so why aren’t you?”

“Come on, come kill me!”

Yan Ruyu let out a sky-shattering laugh, as if she had Sikong Jing completely figured out.

But in her heart, she remained very vigilant, immediately sending people to check both inside and outside Yunzhou City for any other moves Sikong Jing might make, yet the return messages were that there were none…

Sikong Jing had no other strategies left, he only had the people currently with him.

“I get it now, you’re waiting for some expert to come and unlock their True Qi Lock?”

“As long as you release your Five Dragons Admiral, you’ll have the strength to turn against me…”

“Men, guard the perimeter, kill anyone who appears and is of the Transcendent Third Realm, absolutely do not give Sikong Jing a chance to unlock the True Qi Lock for the Five Dragons Admiral.”

As she spoke, Yan Ruyu gently raised her eyebrows, her gaze unintentionally falling on Leng Huo.

“The Yunzhou Grand Tournament, continue.”

Leng Huo froze.

There was still the mood for a tournament now?

“Why not continue?

After all, Sikong Jing is doomed to die, and Yuwen Divine General will arrive soon.

When he does, it will be time to cut down everyone, not sparing a single one,” Yan Ruyu declared with a twisted smirk.

She had many experts by her side, but Sikong Jing had a thousand Jin Sect experts and a million strong battlefield soldiers…

that was a lot, and even with their True Qi locked, a charge by them would still be incredibly fearsome.

Since Sikong Jing apparently didn’t know what he was waiting for, she, Yan Ruyu, could also afford to be patient.

Once Yuwen Guan arrives, who can compete with him?

Hearing Yan Ruyu’s words, Leng Huo understood and remained calm, slowly stating, “The first match of the Yunzhou Grand Tournament, begin!”

After that, his gaze lingered on Su Yuexi on the stage…

Su Yuexi was still veiled, her eyes revealed outside unable to show a sliver of disturbance.

After the initial shock and astonishment, for some reason, she was now more calm than ever before.

She knew, she must not show any trace of her concern and affection for Brother Jing.

Otherwise, she would become Yan Ruyu’s leverage against Brother Jing.

And Brother Jing at this moment, really looked formidable and domineering, feelings she truly, truly cherished, yet she deeply suppressed these emotions and calmly looked at her opponent, saying, “Please!”

After speaking, Su Yuexi suddenly started her move, then with a light shout, “Beast Skill, Flying Blood!”
