Go back and tell him to bring troops to fight, to face me in battle.

You, this piece of trash, are not worthy to be my opponent.”

“Aaaaargh…”

Yuwen Guan was about to explode with rage as he roared to the sky, “Sikong Jing, I will kill you, I will tear you to pieces.”

As he spoke, his gaze swept across everyone, shouting madly, “Everyone listen, follow me back to Yunzhou City to slay Sikong Jing.”

Then, without giving Xia Dalian another look, Yuwen Guan led the charge toward Yunzhou City.

He didn’t care; he just wanted to kill Sikong Jing, to eliminate the man who had trampled him underfoot repeatedly.

Yuwen Guan was madly grief-stricken, unable to comprehend how a man deemed useless could trod over him once more, his eyes completely bloodshot.

The entire Great Shang Army was bewildered, but they had no choice but to follow.

Those who knew the inside story were tremendously shaken.

Was the truly Invincible God General, Sikong Jing, still alive?

What role was he really playing?

Regardless, Yunzhou City was undoubtedly about to witness something terrifying.

Even the key figures of the Great Shang Dynasty knew little of how Sikong Jing had been dealt with by Emperor Yang Tianmo, with most believing that Sikong Jing had been secretly executed.

But he was alive, he had even clashed with the female Marshal of Xia Country, and had broken through Yanyun City.

Watching the frenzied Yuwen Guan leading his troops away, the generals from Xia Country atop Yanyun City were left in a daze.

A middle-aged man clad in golden armor approached Xia Dalian and inquired, “Princess, what is this Yuwen Guan up to?

Sikong Jingming is clearly nothing but a small commander in Yunzhou, why would the Invincible God General be so vexed by him?”

The strong from Xia Country felt that Yuwen Guan had an appalling lack of magnanimity.

Xia Dalian’s eyes held a profound depth, and only after Yuwen Guan’s army was out of sight did she reply emotionlessly, “Do you still believe that Sikong Jing is just a small commander in Yunzhou?”

Previously, she had thought so too, but Yuwen Guan’s behavior and words clearly proved otherwise.

Yuwen Guan had also mentioned that Sikong Jing was crippled, so the backstory must be quite spectacular…

“Princess, since you wish to subdue Sikong Jing, why would you reveal his name?” asked a second middle-aged man in golden armor.

“Even if Sikong Jing is just a small commander in Yunzhou, given Yuwen Guan’s temperament, he would have killed him.”

It was a crushing blow to be defeated and then compared to an enemy.

Everyone was puzzled; with Princess Die Lian’s character, she shouldn’t resort to such means to harm Sikong Jing.

Xia Dalian smiled faintly, “If I don’t push Sikong Jing into a corner where he has no way out, how could he possibly be of use to me?”

Everyone understood immediately, but another question arose.

The disparity between Sikong Jing and Yuwen Guan was immense, both in martial strength and in troops, not at the same level at all.

So, Sikong Jing was facing a great peril.

“Wait, I shall wait for Sikong Jing to beg me for help.”

“He won’t die easily, but if he wishes to close the gap with Yuwen Guan, he will have to seek help from me.”

Xia Dalian spoke confidently, as if everything was under her control.

…

“Sikong Jing, Sikong Jing…”

Yuwen Guan, leading the Great Shang Army, frantically rushed back to Yunzhou City, his only desire now to tear Sikong Jing into pieces.

At this moment, Sui Yu’s face turned cold amidst the army.

From Yuwen Guan’s crushing defeat, everything had gone according to Brother Sikong’s plan, but Xia Dalian’s actions were unexpected.

By revealing Brother Sikong’s name, Xia Dalian was leading him to his doom.

“Princely Heir, what should we do?” A master from the Jin Sect approached Sui Yu, his face pale as he asked.

Sui Yu took a deep breath and said in a low voice, “Clearly, Xia Dalian intends to force Brother Sikong into allegiance, but she doesn’t understand Brother Sikong’s current situation, she thinks he can secretly escape Yuwen Guan’s pursuit…”

“But that’s impossible.”

“In Yunzhou City, a million brothers, Yan Ruyu, and my sister-in-law, Brother has nowhere to hide!”

Sui Yu was of course aware that a million personal soldiers had been brought to Yunzhou City.

Brother Sikong couldn’t flee; he could only clench his teeth and fight!

But how could a million personal soldiers fight when they were in shackles, their True Qi sealed?

Relying on a hundred thousand City Guard soldiers, it was simply impossible to succeed.

This wasn’t like before in Yanyun City, when Princess Die Lian had too few Transcendent masters with her…

But now, Yan Ruyu was surrounded by masters as numerous as clouds.

Suddenly, Sui Yu looked up and said, “You will temporarily impersonate me; I need to return to Yanyun City.”

The Jin Sect master was greatly shocked and stammered, “Princely Heir, you killed the Eldest Prince of Xia Country, you might not return.”

“I can’t worry about that now, Brother’s life is critical.

Right now, only Xia Dalian can save Brother.” After speaking, Sui Yu took off his battle armor and handed it to the Jin Sect master, then vanished amongst the Great Shang Army.

…

On the ramparts of Yanyun City, Xia Dalian opened her eyes, “He’s here!”

Sui Yu appeared, striding straight onto the Yanyun City Wall.

Surrounded by Xia Country’s masters, he remained unmoved, his handsome and invincible face smiling, “Princess Die Lian, we meet again.”

Xia Dalian nodded coldly, before her stood the murderer who had killed her Eldest Imperial Brother.

“Send troops to Yunzhou City immediately.

Your Xia Country will also have the true Invincible God General, Sikong Jing.”

Suddenly, Sui Yu shouted forcefully, a surge of proud qi arising from the ground; at this moment, he feared neither life nor death…

A quarter of an hour later, Sui Yu stared incredulously at Xia Dalian, “You’re going to let me go?”

“Yes, if Yuwen Guan can’t find you, wouldn’t that be tipping him off?”

“I’m indeed grieving over the death of my Eldest Imperial Brother, but compared to having the Invincible God General, I think my Eldest Imperial Brother would understand.”

Following Xia Dalian’s words, Sui Yu bowed with his fists, his figure flashing away.

He had barely left when he heard Xia Dalian’s voice rise, “Send troops to Yunzhou City, bring back the Invincible God General of Shang Country, to display our Xia Wei!”

The city gates flung open, and the Xia Country’s grand army surged forward.

A fierce light shone in Xia Dalian’s eyes, “My defeat wasn’t unjust.

It’s laughable that the Shang Country’s Emperor would actually hand the true Invincible God General over to me.”

After listening to Sui Yu’s explanation, Xia Dalian was astounded; Sikong Jing was actually the true Divine General.

And he had fallen into misfortune in Yunzhou because of a groundless accusation; Fortune truly favored Daxia.

…

From Yanyun City to Yunzhou City, it would require at least two and a half days.

In a blink, another two days passed.

In the early morning, Sikong Jing’s door was knocked upon; it was his father-in-law, Su Zhenglong, who spoke, “Ajing, the great competition of Yunzhou Prefecture is beginning, we have orders to head to the Martial Arts Arena immediately.”

Sikong Jing slowly lifted his head, his eyes bloodshot, and spoke in a hoarse voice, “I know.”

Having said that, Sikong Jing got up, while at that moment Mei Xiaofang asked with concern, “Ajing, you’ve locked yourself in the room for seven days and nights now, what are you doing?”

Her tone was harsh, yet she still served a bowl of ginseng soup, saying, “Drink it while it’s hot, to replenish your strength.”

Sikong Jing held the bowl of ginseng soup, his lips trembling as he said, “Thank you, Mother-in-law, I’m fine…”

Looking at the dear ones before him, Sikong Jing clenched his fists tightly; no matter what was to come, he had to protect them, even if it meant shattering to pieces.
