Berserk God of War

Chapter 691: Chapter 691 Unlucky Gongyang Ying

Before the two could react, Nu Heng narrowed his eyes at Gongyang Ying. Suddenly, he reached out and tore off her veil.

Amidst her shriek, Nu Heng burst into laughter and said, ”Then, compensate my Cross Saber Sect with a Moon Soul Fairy.”

Suddenly, Grandpa Gongyang and his grandson were shocked. Nu Heng actually wanted to forcibly take her as his disciple.

Taking Gongyang Ying as his disciple was naturally much better than Yan Benxing.

But Gongyang Ren didn’t want his granddaughter to join Cross Saber Sect at all; if he had wanted, he would have sent her long ago. He believed that within the East Plain Northern Land, no one was fit to teach Gongyang Ying.

Thinking this, Gongyang Ren spoke in a deep voice, ”Sect Leader Nu Heng, I’m afraid the matter of accepting disciples... ”

Before he could finish, Nu Heng interrupted, saying, ”Who said I want to take a disciple? I want Gongyang Ying to marry me. My old wife just passed away, and I need a new lady.”

As soon as these words fell, a cold wind howled through the Imperial Advisor Mansion, and the faces of everyone there gradually turned red.

Nu Heng, this shameless old man, actually wanted to marry the young mistress.

This is outrageous, utterly unreasonable.

Gongyang Ying was stunned for a long while before she screamed, ”Impossible, don’t delude yourself!”

Her mind was in turmoil. Everyone was bullying her, and now even Nu Heng, this shameless old man, wanted to force her into marriage, bastard!

Gongyang Ren came back to his senses, suppressed the murderous intent in his eyes, and said sternly, ”Sect Leader Nu Heng is joking. This matter is not up for discussion. Even if we offend the Cross Saber Sect to death, there’s no talking about it. You better not force me.”

What a joke, Gongyang Ying was his precious pearl, how could she marry Nu Heng?

It would be impossible even if the heavens collapsed and the earth cracked.

”Hahaha...”

However, what answered Gongyang Ren was the wild laughter of Nu Heng.

”Gongyang Ren, you seem to still have confidence?”

”You, a mere State Preceptor, are just backed by the War Soul Dynasty, right? But do you know that now the entire War Soul Dynasty is cursing you, all wanting to pull you down from your position, and perhaps to appease the public’s anger, you are about to be sacrificed.”

These words from Nu Heng immediately caused Gongyang Ren’s complexion to drastically change; it was not an impossibility.

Now, although the ministers of the War Soul Dynasty had not openly said anything, many had already started making moves in the shadows, and some had even secretly submitted documents to the War Soul Emperor, hoping to have him removed from office.

”If, in order to appease the pressure of my Cross Saber Sect, what do you think your Emperor would choose?”

”Without the support of the War Soul Dynasty, what are you, Gongyang Ren? You’re nothing more than a minor doctor.”

Listening to Nu Heng’s words, Gongyang Ren started to tremble slightly. He was losing his cool.

And Gongyang Ying, upon realizing the key point, became panicked as well.

The next moment, Nu Heng looked at Gongyang Ying again and sneered, ”My pretty little thing, come with your husband now to kill Sikong Jing. You must hate him to death, right? Your husband will certainly help you tear him to pieces.”

As he spoke, Nu Heng reached out and swept Gongyang Ying into his grasp, already referring to himself as her husband.

”Let go of me, let go!” Gongyang Ying screamed frantically, struggling continuously.

But Nu Heng ignored it all, still laughing as he swept her onto his Flying Mount, and then turned to his subordinates and ordered, ”Hold back Gongyang Ren. If he dares to go to war, directly cripple him for me.”

”I want to see if the War Soul Emperor will confront me over this old trash.”

In an instant, the high-ranking experts of Cross Saber Sect brought by Nu Heng sinisterly blocked Gongyang Ren, each with a ferocious look on their faces.

”Nu Heng, let go of Ying’er!” Gongyang Ren roared repeatedly; he hadn’t expected Nu Heng not only to want a forced marriage but now also a forced abduction.

Gongyang Ying, on Nu Heng’s mount, screamed incessantly, ”Grandpa, save me...”

Aunt Mian, as if driven mad, charged forward, but was slapped down by Nu Heng. Someone of the Dao Inquiry Realm simply could not be his opponent.

Nu Heng continued to laugh heartily, ”Little beauty, your husband won’t treat you poorly.”

After speaking, he commanded his mount to turn around, intending to take Gongyang Ying with him and leave.

With Gongyang Ying completely under control, she could do nothing but scream, and in her heart, there was only one thought: Why am I so unlucky?

Her life, which had been smooth sailing, had been shattered into pieces ever since Sikong Jing appeared.

”Someone, save me. If anyone is willing to help me right now, I’d rather marry him,” Gongyang Ying thought in despair.

Whoosh...

As if answering the call in her heart, a burst of black wind suddenly swept through violently.

In the darkness of the night, a pitch-black figure descended from the clouds, and in an instant, it was above the demon beast mount where Nu Heng was located.

Under the moonlight, the pitch-black figure was covered in scales, with a pair of huge pitch-black wings stretching out.

He wasn’t very large, in fact, he looked particularly small compared to the mount of Nu Heng in the Reverse Soul Realm, yet at this moment, Nu Heng’s demon beast mount started to tremble uncontrollably and let out a fearful growl.

At the same time, Nu Heng himself was a bit stunned, staring at the pitch-black human-shaped monster and asking: ”What the hell is that?”

Gongyang Ying was also stupefied; what was this human-shaped monster?

It seemed that there was also a person being carried on the back of the human-shaped monster, but it was unclear who it was.

In the next moment, the pitch-black human-shaped monster gave Nu Heng and Gongyang Ying a fleeting glance and then, with a swoosh, disappeared before them, and in the blink of an eye, it landed face to face with Gongyang Ren.

Then, the human-shaped monster in everyone’s view gently embraced the person it was carrying on its back, who turned out to be a girl.

He handed her over to an anxious Gongyang Ren, rasping, ”Heal her, save her.”

Gongyang Ren was taken aback; he was already anxious about his granddaughter Gongyang Ying.

Suddenly, a human-shaped monster appeared before him, leaving him completely disoriented.

Moreover, this human-shaped monster could speak, indicating it must be powerful, and it seemed to have come seeking treatment from him?

The human-shaped monster then urged again, ”Heal her, quickly.”

The human-shaped monster looked at the girl in its hands, her face pale and her breath weak, pain and urgency flickering in its blood-red eyes.

He, of course, was Sikong Jing.

The reason he had come to the War Soul Imperial City’s Imperial Advisor Mansion was to find Gongyang Ren to treat his sister.

Gongyang Ren, one of the top five doctors in East Plain Northern Land, was the closest one to him.

Gongyang Ren glanced at Sikong Ling, her face as pale as paper, and initially failed to recognize her, but then immediately said, ”I’m sorry, I’m not in the mood to treat anyone right now. My granddaughter has been kidnapped, right up there.”

Having said that, Gongyang Ren pointed toward Nu Heng, a trace of cold sharpness flashing in his eyes.

No matter where this human-shaped monster had come from, it might be able to save Ying’er.

Now, it was crucial to use the human-shaped monster to save Ying’er.

On hearing this, Sikong Jing cast a slight glance upwards, returning his gaze to the members of the Cross Saber Sect in the sky and to Gongyang Ying.

And just as his gaze landed on them, Nu Heng’s Reverse Soul Realm mount cried out in a frenzy: ”Run, run now!”

Nu Heng was dumbfounded and said irritably, ”Run for what? What exactly is that human-shaped monster?”

”I don’t know, but my instincts tell me I must run immediately, or else we’ll all die, and it will be a terrible death,” the Reverse Soul Realm mount cried out in panic, not waiting for Nu Heng’s consent before darting away.

At the same time, Sikong Jing gently set his sister down and spoke with a fierce beast-like voice: ”I will go rescue your granddaughter, heal her now.”

With a slight quiver of his wings, Sikong Jing swept out like a plume of black smoke, instantly blocking the screaming Reverse Soul Realm demon beast.
