Chapter 659: Chapter 659: Activation of the Great Array at the Imperial Advisor Mansion

Looking at the Ice Soul Cold Eagle diving straight toward him, Sikong Jing coldly replied, ”Mo Ci, since I chose to ambush you inside the Imperial Advisor Mansion, it’s because I can render your mount useless...”

As soon as he had spoken, Sikong Jing’s thoughts scanned the surroundings, and he shouted, ”Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrel, crash the formation and activate!”

His voice echoed throughout the entire Imperial Advisor Mansion.

Squeak, squeak, squeak...

Instantly, the sound of ’squeak, squeak, squeak’ emanated from the mansion followed by consecutive ’bang, bang, bang’ sounds; with a humming noise, a beam of formation light suddenly flashed out, covering the entire Imperial Advisor Mansion.

Boom!

At the same time, the Ice Soul Cold Eagle that had just dived down was struck by the formation light, causing it to let out a miserable cry as it spun and flew out, halting mid-air, but already bloodstained, with one of its wings severed.

Mo Ci’s mount, Ice Soul Cold Eagle, was caught off guard and had one of its wings clipped by the suddenly activated formation.

This scene stunned everyone except Sikong Jing.

”What’s going on? Why would the Great Array of the Imperial Advisor Mansion suddenly activate?” Ren Dongmeng couldn’t help but scream with questions.

Damn it, Sikong Jing really managed to make it so Mo Ci couldn’t ride his demon beast mount.

At the same time, everyone, including Mo Ci, turned their gazes toward Gongyang Ren.

The latter, with his mouth agape, then forcefully shouted, ”It wasn’t me who activated it; it was Sikong Jing’s doing.”

Gongyang Ren stared intently at Sikong Jing, his face pale to the extreme.

He couldn’t believe that even the Great Array of his own mansion had been used by Sikong Jing, and its unprovoked activation was terrifying. If Sikong Jing’s target was to destroy the entire Imperial Advisor Mansion, it would be all too easy!

”Gongyang Ren, if it wasn’t you, who else could it be?” At this moment, an elder from the Cross Saber Sect, Wu Zhenzhi, demanded to know.

Apart from Gongyang Ren, who else could have activated the Great Array of the Imperial Advisor Mansion?

Now, everyone suspected that Gongyang Ren and Sikong Jing were in collusion, both wanting to kill Mo Ci.

Squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak...

Just as Gongyang Ren was about to retort in anger, several small Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrels landed on a distant rooftop, each looking over here as if watching a show, whispering to each other as if admiring their own achievement.

The whole scene went dumbfounded again, Gongyang Ying stupidly asked, ”Wh-where did all these Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrels come from?”

It was too bizarre, and the people of the Imperial Advisor Mansion felt it was incomprehensible.

At that moment, standing atop the Iron Bone Flying Vulture, Sikong Jing slowly opened his mouth to say, ”Everyone, stop blaming the Imperial Advisor. It’s true that he didn’t activate the Great Array of the Imperial Advisor Mansion, it was I who used the Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrels to do so.”

His voice immediately drew the attention of countless people, who looked at him in disbelief.

”While I incarnated as Shihun and snuck into the Imperial Advisor Mansion, how could I do nothing?”

”Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrels can infiltrate the Imperial Advisor Mansion silently and even bite through all the formation’s base materials, and then at the moment I activated them, they shattered the formation’s offensive materials.”

”That means, now the whole Great Array has only its defense left, and no one can get in or out!”

Sikong Jing’s explanation left everyone dumbstruck, causing Gongyang Ying to tremble violently all over his body.

He had even made use of the Great Array of the Imperial Advisor Mansion, exploiting the weaknesses and cunning of the Flowing Cloud Flying Squirrels to penetrate the surroundings of all the array setup materials and bite through all the offensive arrangement materials.

And because the materials were bitten and shattered, the defensive aspect of the Great Array naturally triggered an automatic outburst.

Sikong Jing’s methods, besides being astonishing, were also unreasonable.

”Sorry, Imperial Advisor Gongyang, I’m not well-versed in formation techniques, so I could only use this crude method of biting through materials,” Sikong Jing said, smiling apologetically in Gongyang Ren’s direction.

However, Gongyang Ren gave no response.

He could no longer respond. He had endured all his life to have white hair and beard, yet he had never been so shocked before.

Angry?

He wasn’t truly very angry, the State Preceptor had a broad mind, he just found Sikong Jing too terrifying.

Boom...

Suddenly, Sikong Jing’s smile faded, and he harnessed the power of the Iron Bone Flying Vulture once again, pointing the long stick at Mo Ci and saying, ”Mo Ci, you can’t escape, without your mount, trapped by the Imperial Advisor Mansion’s Great Array, you can only die.”

”I will not just deprive you of your mount, I also intend to prevent you from using treasures to speed up your escape...”

With those words, Sikong Jing struck again with his staff, the terrifying demonic power and True Qi sweeping across the entire Imperial Advisor Mansion.

Mo Ci gripped her sword, trembling madly, completely outmaneuvered by Sikong Jing.

Deprived of her mount, she suddenly became a bit panicked... and the Great Array of the Imperial Advisor Mansion made it impossible for her to escape.

But she quickly regained her resolve, her eyes fierce to the extreme.

A significant figure like Mo Ci couldn’t easily admit defeat, still disbelieving, she aimed to kill Sikong Jing. As a top-level powerhouse from the East Plain Northern Land, she believed she still had many methods to win.

However, it was futile. After hundreds of strikes, Mo Ci had slammed heavily against the Great Array and slid down.

She, coughing up blood repeatedly.

And Sikong Jing was also covered in blood; Mo Ci’s terror was beyond imagination.

He was struck by her sword several times but had narrowly avoided vital hits by sheer toughness.

At the same time, the Iron Bone Flying Vulture was also drenched in blood, bones eerily protruding through its feathers.

Everyone saw Sikong Jing now sending Mo Ci flying, but they didn’t know that just a moment ago, Sikong Jing could have died.

With only the power of Daoist Martial Fifth Realm, if there were any flaws in his fusion with the Iron Bone Flying Vulture’s demonic power, just a touch from Mo Ci’s True Qi would seal his fate.

But he was the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, his fusion with the demonic power of the Iron Bone Flying Vulture was flawless.

Without any further words, Sikong Jing, gasping for breath, still controlled the Iron Bone Flying Vulture to attack again; he was intent on killing Mo Ci now.

”All demon beasts within the Imperial Advisor Mansion, all of you, come here!”

At that moment, Mo Ci suddenly screamed.

Then... roar roar roar.

The demon beasts within the Imperial Advisor Mansion, as if intimidated by a heartless force, one by one rushed over, blocking in front of Sikong Jing.

Although the strongest demon beasts here were only of Dao Inquiry Realm, Mo Ci really needed a mount now.

However, just as they blocked Sikong Jing, he sneered and growled low, ”All of you, get lost...”

A roar burst out like a Fierce Beast, Sikong Jing, as the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, burst forth... Instantly, all the demon beasts froze, the heartless force from Mo Ci shattered directly in their hearts.

Next, one by one, they looked at Sikong Jing with fear in their eyes.

They trembled all over when they looked at Sikong Jing, even the demon beasts of Dao Inquiry Realm did so.

Yes, currently Sikong Jing couldn’t tame Dao Inquiry Realm demon beasts, and his aura exposed might even provoke their madness, but do not forget, Sikong Jing was on the Iron Bone Flying Vulture!

The Dao Inquiry Realm demon beasts could not dare to go mad but were intimidated by the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts and the Iron Bone Flying Vulture.

And because of the presence of the Imperial Advisor Mansion’s Great Array, Sikong Jing’s aura as Master of Ten Thousand Beasts would not spread out, so it wouldn’t attract demon beasts at the level of the Iron Bone Flying Vulture like last time in Long Night Imperial City!

”I told you, get lost!”

Suddenly, Sikong Jing issued a second roar of a Fierce Beast.
