Wizard: Grinding from Knight to Primogenitor

Chapter 102: Chapter 100: Tier Three Giant Monster, Miria’s Gratitude

”I know you’re here to help in his place, but you are you, and he is he.”

”I don’t care what you two discussed. As far as I’m concerned, you’re the one who helped me this time, so I must show you my gratitude.”

”The Elvin Clan is not one that forgets its debts. As the Clan Leader of the Elvin Clan, I must naturally lead by example.”

Miria said quickly, looking at Roy with a serious expression.

Roy didn’t answer her right away, instead falling into deep thought.

To be honest, he couldn’t care less about Miria’s so-called gratitude.

Or rather, he didn’t think Miria could offer any ”reward” that would interest him.

Except for Miria’s body.

After thinking for a dozen seconds or so, he said slowly, ”Since you’ve put it that way, it would be disrespectful of me to refuse.”

”I’m not doing anything else anyway, so I might as well go back with you to the Snow Fox Domain.”

”Besides, I’m now a little curious as to how you plan on thanking me.”

Hearing his reply, a flash of happiness crossed Miria’s face. She quickly said, ”Don’t worry, I definitely won’t disappoint you.”

After speaking, Miria activated her Snow Fox Fighting Qi, enveloping her entire body, and took the lead, heading toward the Snow Fox Domain.

Roy said nothing more, activating his own Fighting Qi and following leisurely behind Miria.

「An hour or so later.」

「Snow Fox Castle.」

In a guest room on the second floor.

”It’s getting late. You should rest first.”

”If you need anything, just tell one of the maids.”

Miria said slowly, standing in front of Roy.

”Alright!”

Roy glanced around the guest room, nodded, and replied quickly.

”Well then, you get some rest.”

With that, Miria left the guest room under Roy’s gaze, gently closing the door behind her.

After Miria left, Roy went straight to the bed and lay down, thinking about his next steps.

He had now initiated both the Giant Monster Breathing Technique and the Giant Horned Rhinoceros Breathing Method.

As long as he cultivated these two Breathing Techniques to the Tier Seven Limit, he could upgrade one of them to Tier Eight.

By then, he would possess his third Tier Eight Seed.

After some brief consideration, Roy decided to upgrade the Giant Monster Breathing Technique to Tier Eight.

The reason why was very simple.

Because the current Skill Level of his Giant Monster Breathing Technique was much higher than his Giant Horned Rhinoceros Breathing Method.

The Giant Horned Rhinoceros Breathing Method only had 3 points of Skill Level, while the Giant Monster Breathing Technique had 907.

Although this was only a two-hour difference in cultivation time, the fact remained that the Giant Monster Breathing Technique’s Skill Level was currently higher.

With no other factors to consider, it was naturally better to choose the Breathing Technique with the higher Skill Level.

Having made his decision, Roy didn’t hesitate. With a single thought, he immediately entered Chaos Square and began his cultivation of the Giant Monster Breathing Technique.

While he was cultivating the Giant Monster Breathing Technique, Miria, who had returned to her own bedroom, was not idle either.

She immediately called over a few maids to help her remove her armor, and at the same time, instructed them to fill the bathtub in her bathroom with hot water.

After the maids had filled the brass bathtub with hot water and sprinkled it with flower petals, Miria did not have them attend to her bath. Instead, she dismissed all the maids from her bedroom.

She shed her clothes and lay down in the tub.

It wasn’t clear if it was because the bathwater was too hot, because the effects of the aphrodisiac perfume hadn’t completely worn off, or for some other reason entirely, but not long after she entered the tub, an alluring crimson blush appeared on Miria’s delicate, fair face.

Time trickled by. After soaking in the tub for nearly half an hour, Miria finally got up and stepped out.

She casually took a clean robe from a rack in the bathroom, put it on, and then walked over to the wardrobe in her bedroom.

Opening the wardrobe, her gaze fell upon several sexy nightgowns that she would never normally wear.

These nightgowns were not only thin and form-fitting, but their hemlines were also very short, covering only the top third of her thighs.

Any slightly large movement carried the risk of revealing everything.

On top of that, these nightgowns also featured see-through lace patterns and deep V-necks.

Her gaze lingered on the nightgowns for a long while before Miria finally chose the black one.

Holding the black nightgown up against her body, her delicate, fair, oval face turned an even deeper shade of red.

Taking a deep breath, Miria took off her robe and changed into the sexy, form-fitting black nightgown.

Standing in front of the mirror, she examined the effect of the black nightgown and nodded in satisfaction.

Then, she took an overcoat from the wardrobe and draped it over herself, covering up her fiery and sensual figure.

Having done all this, she didn’t hesitate, turning and leaving her bedroom to head for the guest room where Roy was staying.

Before long, Miria arrived outside the door to Roy’s guest room.

She didn’t knock. Instead, she tentatively tried pushing the door.

CREAK!

She pushed the door open without any effort, a surprised expression on her face.

She had thought Roy would have locked the door from the inside after she left.

It turned out she had overthought it.

Although surprised, she didn’t hesitate. She immediately entered the guest room and locked the door behind her.

「A dozen seconds later.」

A confused and bewildered expression appeared on Miria’s face.

’Where is he?’

’Did he secretly run away?’

’Am I really so far from your type?’

One guess after another flashed through Miria’s mind.

She never would have guessed that at this very moment, Roy was in Chaos Square, cultivating the Giant Monster Breathing Technique.

Although she hadn’t said it outright, and hadn’t even given any obvious hints, Roy had guessed what her so-called gratitude really was the moment she’d said she ”must show her gratitude” and ”lead by example.”

It was just as they say.

As long as he wasn’t a complete idiot, any man with a functioning brain could easily tell when a woman was after his body.

Likewise, a woman could also tell very clearly whether a man had those kinds of thoughts about her.

Although she didn’t know where on earth Roy had gone, Miria quickly made a decision.

She didn’t leave the guest room and return to her own bedroom. Instead, she went straight to the bed, took off her overcoat, slipped under the covers, and prepared to lie in wait for him.

At that moment, Roy had no idea that Miria had already come to his room and was lying in wait for him under the covers, wearing a sexy black nightgown.

He was currently focused on cultivating the Giant Monster Breathing Technique, planning to raise it to Tier Three in one go.

It only took 3,000 Skill Level points to go from initiated to Tier Three.

His Giant Monster Breathing Technique already had 907 points of Skill Level. He only needed another 2,093 points to advance to Tier Three.

In other words, he only needed to cultivate for a little over four hours to raise the Giant Monster Breathing Technique to Tier Three.

Time trickled by. A little over four hours wasn’t a long time, but it wasn’t short either.

[Giant Monster Breathing Technique has been upgraded!]

[Giant Monster Breathing Technique: Tier Three (1/3000)]

Looking at the upgrade notification in front of him, Roy broke into a satisfied smile.

Although the boost from the Tier Three Giant Monster Breathing Technique wasn’t huge, he had only started cultivating it today.

To be precise, he had only cultivated the Giant Monster Breathing Technique for a total of seven hours so far.

It had only taken him seven hours to cultivate the Giant Monster Breathing Technique to Tier Three.

It was hard not to be satisfied with that result.

Closing the Skill Proficiency Panel, Roy gazed into the gray mist before him and checked on the situation in his guest room.

Soon, he saw Miria, fast asleep in his bed.
