Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 161: Chapter 17 Abyssal War_3

He was just intently watching the battle between the Undead Tribe and the Demons.

The round defensive formation of the Undead Tribe was already used proficiently. There were hundreds of thousands of demons, which seemed like a lot, but there were at most only a few tens of thousands above the Magister level, and still, they dealt with them quite easily.

The Lord of the Steel Fortress, unable to bear it any longer, finally charged down.

This was a female Six-Armed Serpent Demon, over ten meters tall. She brandished six long swords, charging straight down.

The players were shocked.

”What a huge lady!” It seemed like Old Cat?

”Why are your focus points so weird?” Yue Xiaoluo’s resigned voice came through, ”Aren’t her six arms and six long swords the things worth paying attention to?”

Behind this Serpent Demon, followed a legion of Six-Armed Serpent Demons, around seven or eight meters tall, all wielding long swords.

Snow Cloud Peak’s voice rang out: ”Priests, fall back!

Knight’s first row! Raise the shield wall! 3, 2, 1, crouch down!

Second row! Up!

Priests, make it rain!

How many died?

Quick, replenish!”

It seemed someone had calculated the numbers, ”Good. These six hands aren’t as strong as I thought!”

Third row knights, third row swordsmen! Switch places, quick!

July! Hold the BOSS! Baldy and Young Master support!

First row knights, catch up with the rear guard! Split them up!

Very good!

Alright, from left to right, prioritize the smaller monsters first!

Rear swordsman, protect the priests, if not, sacrifice yourself! You can die, but the priest can’t!

Priest Corps’ leader, pay attention to the CD times, ensure our rain overhead is continuous!

Mages pay attention! First row snowfall! Second row, focus on killing the guards!”

Hill scrutinized the composition of these demons and saw it was very chaotic, likely a smaller force.

After some chaos, the players lost thousands of lives, but finally stabilized again.

”We’re steady now,” Old Cat voiced what Hill was thinking.

This Six-Armed Serpent Demon leader, if without reinforcements, had only one way out: death.

Seeing hope, the players’ excitement also rose higher steadily, making few mistakes.

Accompanied by stirring music, more and more monsters died, until at last, only a few of those Six-Armed Guards were still alive.

”Attention! Knights pay attention!” Snow Cloud Peak’s voice carried immense excitement, ”The BOSS is scouting the terrain! She’s going to run! Be ready with your shield strike!”

Snow Cloud Peak pulled out an Alchemical Utensil, and Hill’s eyes widened watching the automatically netting rope.

This came from the outdoor cooking set they had initially.

This rope, capable of automatically weaving into a fishnet. Considering the kinds of fish one might encounter in this world, Hill had used very strong materials carefully.

Hill, seeing the several others also holding the net ropes, suddenly wondered if perhaps the foolish one was himself?

The massive leader of the Six-Armed Serpent Demons did indeed plan to flee. After resisting the charge of several knights who tried to restrain her and suddenly using her previously dangling tail, sweeping around the knights surrounding her, she leapt up, attempting to escape.

Unfortunately, she was enveloped by the numerous fish nets thrown over her head and was dragged down intently.

This was her only successful struggle, yet the players, unbothered by their own potential death, fiercely dragged her down into the Abyss.

The Six-Armed Serpent Demon emitted a mournful howl, and Snow Cloud Peak urgently shouted, ”Kill quickly! Trouble’s coming! Drop the defenses! Everybody use your ultimates!”

A massive shadow appeared in the sky, a giant claw descended sharply, and the players along with the demon were crushed to death.

Hill took a deep breath: that claw! Was it Pazuzu? A being more powerful than the Deities, the Lord of the Abyssal Sky!

He turned to look at Fran, got a shock, and quickly cast consecutive Purifications.

The ashen-faced Fran finally recovered, ”That was a dreadful existence!”
