Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 150: Chapter 13 Victory Like Splitting Bamboo - The Reluctant Return Home of Hill_2

”Everyone playing dead in Doomsday has logged off!” shouted Rain Falling on Mortal Dust, rushing over. ”They are probably covering for Qingcheng’s last strike.

Is Mr. Hill okay?”

”Still alive,” the Earth Element Lord stood up, his head slightly emerging from the ground, speaking kindly to the Undead Tribe members.

Then, Hill felt the chamber moving upwards.

”Hill,” said the Earth Element Lord, ”your Uncle Adrian has charged down!”

The lord’s massive body created a slight gap for Hill, who carefully gathered the heart of the beech tree into a pendant and entrusted it to Srei. He then lifted his head, watching the golden spaceship that had returned to its original form rapidly descending.

”Hill, do not come out!” Adrian’s voice thundered through the skies, ”I’m coming down to get you, and we’re heading home right away!”

Even though his words were filled with discontent and distrust towards the Undead Tribe, Snow Cloud Peak and the others cheerfully stood beside the partially emerged Earth Element Lord, waiting for the two to reunite.

Hill heard a Witness squatting nearby comment, ”Adrian, unable to hide his rage, has charged down—fortunately, Hill is safe and sound!

This incident has taught us a significant lesson! How to prevent hostile forces from targeting us through NPCs we are friendly with will be a key research focus from now on!

Moreover, to be honest, after facing so many death threats, we really do not know if Hill will still maintain a friendly disposition towards us players when he returns.

The little friend accompanying Adrian above has already contacted us: Although Adrian was not so furious initially, the final move by Doomsday and Alluring Rain of the City has made him utterly enraged!

Where should his anger be directed? In the eyes of NPCs, players are part of the Undead Tribe, a unified race.

So, all responsibility is ours to bear, and we must also pay the price for all of these deeds!

The ultimate outcome is that whether it’s Fran’s or Hill’s territory, both have initiated a friendliness mode, and neutrality has been excluded!

Yes, you heard right! Only those with a reputation above friendly can enter these two territories, and they have employed the formation of the God of Time and Space to directly block players’ entry.

Reputation hostility gets struck by lightning! Neutrals, after being intercepted three times and still insisting on entering, will also get struck by lightning!

These two territories, once the most equal and friendly private lands for players, have, after Hill’s several brushes with death, turned into the most stringent refusers of players!

It can be said that for Adrian, this is already him restraining his fury!

Currently, it is still unclear whether neutral players will have a chance to start reputation missions for these two territories. If, in the future, only those clans that have reached friendly terms with Hill under familial names can enter, the non-PVP players reluctant to take part in their conflicts and wishing to purchase those high-level Alchemy Items might have to choose sides!

Did Doomsday and Qingcheng ever consider that new players might choose the Snow Cloud Peak faction because of this?

Or did they plan to succeed or die in the attempt?

Wait, someone here says they thought Adrian would choose to no longer sell to players involved in attacking Hill, but they didn’t expect Adrian would decide to only deal with friendly players in the future.

Isn’t that obvious? Have we not played this game long enough to realize that sometimes NPCs’ intelligence can surpass ours?

Moreover, NPCs in this world have always loved to distinguish people by faction!

I’m not sure if this person is involved, but I can tell you directly: if they really think this way, they are either deluding themselves or have less intelligence than a dog.

Alright, I can’t insult dogs! Or else Snow Cloud Peak will complain about me again.

Now, we can only hope that Hill, who once loved to travel around, allowing players to freely enter his store to trade items and even sit down to rest, will not end up completely rejecting the existence of players when he returns!”

Hill listened silently to their commentary, looking up at the golden ship that had reached above him, and smirked bitterly: Go outside? With the demon disaster not fully passed, it was good enough to just stay within his own territory!

He watched Adrian, standing stern-faced at the bow, carefully layered himself with several Magic Shields, and had the Legendary Puppet gently leap aboard the ship, landing beside Adrian.

”Wait! Mr. Hill!” Seeing Adrian, who was about to leave, had already started the spaceship, Snow Cloud Peak hastily shouted.

”Is there anything else?” Hill glanced at Adrian and smiled, saying, ”Well then! My territory is still open to your faction. Once you’ve handled everything, we heartily welcome you to visit us!

Whatever benefits you find there, I’ll take them all!”

Seeing that Hill didn’t intend to vent his anger on his side, Snow Cloud Peak smiled happily: ”We have gained a lot this time! Plus, we found steles with lots of demon text, and we need your help to identify them! We also found some animal skins with strange script that we couldn’t decipher—they are all mysteries.

We’ve already received a message from William, this big victory did significant damage to the demons!

Black and White Path’s military exploits are so high, William has decided to help them build a city!

This place will also become an instance capturing historical moments, and William has even promised to send an Archbishop from the Space-Time Church to oversee the building of a Sub Temple!
