Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 148: Chapter 12 The Snow Fills Bow and Blade, The Battle Fire Flies Wildly_3

He silently wished that William’s game would become even hotter and more popular.

Even though Adrian was currently safe, Hill decided that after returning, he would tell Adrian to stay away from the Undead Tribe. Witnessing Hill’s own awkward and perilous encounter should be enough to know that keeping one’s distance from any member of the Undead Tribe is the best way to protect oneself.

A few reporters had already taken their places, and the photographer had chosen the best angle to continue shooting.

Hill shuffled around to find the best seat first and then scouted a few other spots where the view was clear and unobstructed. He communicated with Beech to assist him in switching places at random intervals.

Hill, who didn’t even know where he would end up himself, felt that if he was still unlucky after all this, it was simply fate - as if the heavens decided to forsake him.

But then, Hill felt the Natural Will that surrounded him after the demons had retreated and confidently took his seat.

”Ah! The fury of the Black and White Path!” The voice of the Witness rose again, ”Ladies and gentlemen, with Mr. Hill’s help, we are back!

”Those meddling fools from Doomsday didn’t expect this!” he said, aiming his tablet downwards, ”Just take a shot! Look at that tall and majestic Earth Elemental Lord! He’s back!”

The Witness proudly put away his tablet: ”Just a look will do. This is Hill’s Earth Elemental Lord! Legendary!

”The Water Elemental Lord is not here, probably hasn’t returned yet.”

”Alright, enough showing off,” the Witness continued, ”Let’s keep watching the battlefield!

Oh, oh, oh! Mobi Chenxin is unleashing a big move! There are so many Space-Time Warlocks from the Black and White Path!

Look at the groups of space dragons soaring through the crowd! They form a formation so quickly, appearing ethereal during flight and turning into blades only when they strike the enemy! It’s a powerful spell that can directly penetrate shields!

In an instant, more than twenty Magicians wiped out over a hundred Knights! Doomsday’s defense has been breached!

Good! The Swordsmen from the Black and White Path and Black Rose are so numerous and fierce, charging straight in! The Swordsmen truly live up to their reputation as professional healer-slayers! Down goes a swath of Priests!

”How long is the cooldown for the Magicians’ big move? It’s way too strong! If it’s one minute, Doomsday will probably be doomed.

Everyone, keep an eye on the time!

It seems that both sides are wary of the demons’ issue, having very few Fire Element Mages.

That’s right, no matter who wins, they’ll have to face the demons afterwards.

The storm raging in the sky also deals considerable damage, coupled with the Earthquake shaking the heavens. People from both sides are tumbling on the ground.

You really have to be quick on your feet here, jumping to avoid the earthquake, and being careful not to rush into the flying snow!

What Spell are those Mages casting? Hey hey, what Spell are the Black and White Path’s Mages casting?

Some bystander mentioned it’s Frost Guard, adds Ice Resistance.

”Such a niche Spell, how did they think to learn it?

I haven’t even heard of it!”

”You can’t even fully understand your own Profession, stop pretending you’re an expert,” the Recorder interrupted irritably, ”It looks like the Magic Cult and their Alliance were well prepared for Doomsday’s sneak attack! Was the Black and White Path always planning to carry the flag?

No wonder they were willing to part with such an expensive Alchemy Hut!”

”My profession is a reporter!” the Witness retorted, ”In the game, all you need to provide is sufficient agility!”

”Psh!” the other two said in unison.

”Ah!” the Witness quickly spoke up, ”It’s been five minutes! The Magicians from the Black and White Path haven’t used that big move again, and Doomsday’s people are desperately rebuilding their defense.

But! This is a big ’but’! If they can’t withstand the Magician’s big move, and the defense breaks a few more times, morale might just collapse!”

”And most importantly!” he emphasized, looking up towards the now still underground hall and the passage leading to the Abyssal Gate, ”The Abyssal Gate has been quiet for a while now! Snow Cloud Peak is returning!”
