Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 116: Chapter 94: Players Who Love to Join in the Fun

Even though Adrian put on an air of dismissal, urgently suggesting that onlookers should disperse, Hensley still persisted and asked, ”Mr. Adrian, do you value this territory highly? You’ve brought so many people with you.”

Adrian rolled his eyes subtly and said without hesitation, ”What can I do about it, when the Undead Tribe is always active, day and night? The royal family’s shops within Saral territory never close!

So my shop can’t close either. I definitely need to arrange for two shifts to keep it running.”

”I didn’t expect Mr. Adrian to value the Undead Tribe so much!” Hensley said with a face full of admiration. ”Mr. Fran, do you feel the same way?”

Adrian glanced at the Undead Tribe who were watching with interest and suddenly said loudly, ”Alchemists always respect all customers!”

He glanced at Hensley, ”We’re not as powerful as the Legendaries who can obtain all sorts of materials directly from outside the material world; we can only rely on powerful Professionals like yourselves!”

Hill almost laughed out loud when he heard someone in the crowd say, ”Respect all customers who can pay.”

Adrian blinked, ”If you don’t have money, you can offer labor. And which of the Undead Tribe doesn’t have money.

Don’t take Hill’s shop as the standard for an Alchemy Shop!

Average alchemists are doing well if they can manage a general goods store.”

Hensley thoughtfully looked at Adrian, who was being so friendly to the Undead Tribe.

Hill wasn’t worried about Hensley copying Adrian.

Given his nature, seeing players treat NPCs warmly and eagerly, he would easily slip into the abyss of pure exploitation.

When his relationship with the players shifted from friendly to neutral, he would learn what it meant to be disowned.

Adrian had been paying attention to the players ever since they appeared, plus Hill’s mentoring, he showed the dance of a noble dealing with peers of the same level, courteous and respectful, yet maintaining a distance.

Phillips snorted coldly and bid Adrian a cold farewell, ”Don’t forget you are still a mage. I’m off.”

Hill, hearing this utter disregard for players, felt that Phillips was in for some serious trouble.

This was the main base of PvP players, after all.

He scanned the crowd out of the corner of his eye: there were already players discussing why Phillips was still in the friendly faction.

They were questioning why he was still ”green,” and neither Adrian nor Hensley understood, but they both keenly sensed the atmosphere take a dramatic turn.

Hensley hastily said goodbye and quickly walked back with the Archmage.

Adrian glanced at Hill, who shook his head to indicate they were not involved.

Then he smiled and said to the players gathering around, ”Could I please ask everyone to move beyond the corridor? I need to prepare to build the shop.”

Then he passed a blueprint to Hill.

Hill rolled his eyes and summoned the Earth Elemental from his own shop.

”How do you find Hill?”

”Hill seems to be a Summoning Mage. The Earth Elemental is with him every day.”

”One person equivalent to an entire army kind? All Mage Level elementals, huh!”

”So below Legendary, isn’t Hill the most powerful?”

”Doesn’t seem like it, I hear the mages and priests here can all perform Exorcism. Mage Level ones, can dispatch seven or eight at a time.

Anyway, it seems like Hill isn’t easy to kill, but he also isn’t worried about being killed by them.”

As the players moved towards the corridor, they continued discussing.

Hill fought to keep his expression in check: I’ve hardly ever taken action; how did you collect this info?

”So, can only Legendaries take down Hill?”

They were still discussing!

”How could that be? Just look at how wealthy he appears!

How could he be without means of escape?”

”There’s also an Alchemist Master backing him up! Last time I visited Obastian, the mages said he had gone traveling, Fran definitely gave him a Legendary Puppet. Their faces were full of envy and resentment!”

”So is Fran actually the strongest?”

”Didn’t you see those two Legendary students running over to greet him? There are so many rules around here, and both of them carrying themselves so high! If Adrian had a lower status than them, they definitely wouldn’t have come up!”

Sometimes Hill really wished William could block these player discussions targeted at NPCs. NPCs didn’t want to listen.

Just like the two below, their spirits must be focused here, but they could only helplessly tolerate the chattering.

There’s no help for it, numbers hold power.

Adrian expressionlessly placed a large pile of materials on the ground, then took the apprentices on board the ship and flew up.

Hill held the blueprint, trying hard to ignore the outside gossip, and carefully visualized the structure in his mind.

The Earth Elemental quickly resonated spiritually with Hill and swiftly pounced on the various ores on the ground.

A 500 square meter two-and-a-half-story building had its framework built in about 10 minutes.

After all, Hill was only responsible for the construction, not the decoration.

Adrian had used Obsidian as the material for the building, carved Magic Arrays into it, and used an Intermediate Tower Spirit as the shop core, ensuring that in times of danger, the apprentices could escape into the hidden chamber underground.

So Adrian had to have Hill construct it, only his Earth Elemental could silently create a hidden chamber dozens of meters deep.

While other Earth Elementals were loudly working above, another discretely dug directly into the mountain side, constructing a three-bedroom, one-living room space.

Everyone knows how to build a hidden chamber, but the exact location mustn’t be easily found.

Amidst the clamor of the surrounding players, marveling at the convenience of the Earth Elementals building a house, Adrian jumped down, entered the house, and began to draw Magic Arrays and do some basic decorating.
