Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 121: Chapter 1 Cortez, Haifasardo and the Saral United Kingdom were established as _2

”You &&...&*%*()” Hill almost laughed out loud, was even that censored?

”Is William sick or something? Even an NPC swearing needs to be censored? So what’s he cursing, loneliness?”

”You heard it there on the spot! Who told us we could only watch the broadcast?

Once it’s on TV, it has to be censored, no problem there.”

”Since I am entitled and capable,” William said with a hint of amusement in his voice, ”you shouldn’t have offended me!

You dare to slap me, you ought to bear the consequences of my retaliation!

I didn’t breach the Covenant of the Gods.

What a pity, the Saral Royal Family already has a claim to the Haifasardo throne!

As long as you abdicate and everyone ranked before me renounces their claim to the throne, it’s mine.”

”I would never declare abdication!”

”Then you can die!

When you sent people over, didn’t you tell them they had to make sure I was killed?

You don’t think the Noble Church will keep your secret, do you?”

The King of Haifasardo suddenly fell silent, remaining so for a long time.

An explosion suddenly erupted from the Royal Palace, with high-pitched furious cursing following it.

Hill couldn’t make out the words, but the rage was palpable.

Unable to contain his curiosity, William lowered the ship a bit further.

The reason quickly became clear: a Legendary Knight, radiating golden light.

He was holding the King of Haifasardo, tossing him roughly onto the deck.

William swiftly dropped the protective shield, and the King of Haifa let out a scream: it must have hurt a lot.

”I am Kinderich Hevasaldo.” The Legendary Knight’s muffled voice emerged from the helmet, ”This fool didn’t say he committed such an act.

No wonder the Queen fled with the Prince, they must have known something.

I will keep my oath, but not if I’m made a fool of.

King of Saral, you can force him to abdicate, but you cannot harm the Royal Family of Haifasardo.”

”You know my lord’s faction, right?” William spoke deliberatively, ”I don’t welcome any faction other than Neutral.

Give them 3 days to pack up and leave the country.

Then I will activate Detect Alignment; don’t even hope for luck.”

He stepped out of the cabin and asked the King of Haifasardo, who was whimpering at his feet, ”Now, will you abdicate?

You also have 3 days to get lost.”

”Without the witness of the deities! Even if I abdicate, you won’t inherit,” the King of Haifasardo slowly got up, puffing out his chest but speaking foolish words.

”The eyes of my lord are always watching!” William twisted his mouth, gazing in disbelief at the man, ”Who dares make me kneel before other gods?”

”Isn’t William a deity’s kindred spirit?” control got away from even the players, ”Is he actually dumb?

He chants ’my lord’ aloud, but perhaps in his heart, he might even call him ’bro’?

Does he really think there are deities who can suppress William?”

”Do the game designers really need to introduce such a dumb side character?

I’d rather watch William unleash his divine might and smite at will.

Is this a cannon fodder from a naïve story, the kind with an IQ of 20?”

Reality is sometimes more brutal than fiction.

At this moment, Hill was truly grateful they just took this as an NPC in a game.

The King of Haifa was stunned for a moment, but finally saw the light, ”As a deity, you actually bully a mortal!”

William’s face nearly twisted, ”Using your logic, you’re trying to kill a god, and you don’t allow the god to strike back?

I thought Edward was the dumbest of our lineage!

I really overestimated him!

Lucky he wasn’t this hopeless! Otherwise, I couldn’t have waited this long!”

Kinderich, after composing himself for a while, eventually couldn’t hold back and smacked the King of Haifa’s head, ”Just abdicate already!

I don’t care if you’re actually an idiot!

But stop disgracing Haifasardo!”

The King of Haifa, reluctant and with a face full of resentment, made a declaration of abdication. As he loudly called for the witness of the gods, he nearly craned his neck skyward, hoping some deity would reveal their might and save him from William’s clutches.

Regrettably, until he finished the whole declaration in a low voice, there wasn’t even a spark in the sky.

His delusions were clear to all.

Hill nearly sent him flowers when he heard a player ask, ”Which deity would dare to intervene for something like this? Even if they wanted to trouble the God of Time and Space and William, it couldn’t be for this reason!”

The image of William’s taut face on the screen also evoked a moment’s sympathy: this was his kinsman after all. If William had a child in the future with an IQ like this king’s, it would certainly be unbearable sorrow.

Hill could now be sure: the reason why the King hadn’t been accepted by the Noble Church was not because of his wise neutrality, but because he was too stupid.

Poor Noble Church, first Edward drove them half mad, now they met an even more foolish King of Haifa.

Perhaps it was the karma from too many misdeeds coming back to bite them?

The King of Haifa let out his last breath of defiance and collapsed like a dead dog, sprawling on the ground.

William stepped over him with ease, heading toward the bow, ”My lord above, the pantheon as witness! I, William Hevasardo Cortez Saral, hereby declare, I shall lift the crown of Haifasardo!

Those opposed, step forward to me!”

Hill thought back carefully: William did say Cortez.

”Mr. Polanio, do you know why His Majesty the King can use the name of Cortez?” Phillips gently flew up to Hill’s window.
