Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 242: Chapter 148: Tricking Shu Ran Again (Long Chapter, Please Subscribe)_2

Shu Ran tucked a lock of hair behind her ear, then briskly picked up 5 shuttlecocks with her racket, ready for a smash.

Zhang Jingdong said at this moment: ”Wait a second!”

”How come?”

”I... Can I turn my back to you? I’m still young, I don’t have any kids, in case...”

Shu Ran’s face turned slightly red, and she did a fancy move with her racket to cover the embarrassment: ”Well, considering you’re willing to accept your loss, I’ll go easy on you just a little!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately turned around.

”I’m going to start... You better not move, or if I hit certain crucial spots, don’t blame me!”

Shu Ran deliberately said this to add psychological pressure on him.

Zhang Jingdong then cooperated by holding his head, pretending to be devastated: ”You... you go ahead!”

Shu Ran held back her laughter, then deliberately paused for half a minute. When she felt Zhang Jingdong’s defense had completely collapsed, she tossed the shuttlecock into the air with her left hand, took a leap, and performed a powerful smash.

Just a ”whoosh” sound was heard, and then the white shuttlecock hit Zhang Jingdong’s back accurately.

Zhang Jingdong instantly did an exaggerated forward roll, then rubbed his back vigorously.

”Teacher Shu, you really went all out; it hurts like hell!”

Shu Ran responded irritably: ”Hey, aren’t you overacting? I only used less than fifty percent of my strength for that shot, there’s no way it hurts that much!”

Zhang Jingdong continued acting: ”I took it with my body; if you think it doesn’t hurt, why don’t you give it a try?”

Shu Ran could only say: ”Fine, fine... Hurry up, there are still 4 more shuttlecocks!”

Zhang Jingdong stood up and said: ”Go a bit gentler!”

”Alright, alright... but you’re not allowed to move again, or else I’ll use full force!”

Zhang Jingdong exaggeratedly exhaled: ”Okay... Bring it on!”

Shu Ran saw he resumed his position and without hesitation struck the remaining 4 shuttlecocks.

However, she kept her word and used less than thirty percent of her strength for the last two.

After the 4 shots, Zhang Jingdong just lay on the ground, pretending not to get up!

In fact, he was trying to conceal his laughter because, after employing his ”Iron Shirt” technique, the 5 smashes had felt almost like tickling.

And Shu Ran, thinking she had really injured him, quickly walked around the net to his side.

”How are you feeling?”

Hearing this, Zhang Jingdong quickly thought of all the regrets and hardships from his past life, managing to suppress his smile.

Slowly lifting his head he said, ”Teacher Shu, I play a game with you, and you’re out for my life!”

Shu Ran, looking wronged, said: ”I didn’t! The last few shots, I used at most thirty to forty percent strength. You seem to be quite fit normally, who knew you were so fragile!”

Zhang Jingdong didn’t pick up on this, and reached out a hand: ”Aren’t you going to pull me up?”

Seeing his half-dead look, Shu Ran had to put down her racket and pulled him up with both hands.

Zhang Jingdong deliberately didn’t exert any strength, so Shu Ran struggled to get him up.

At this point, Zhang Jingdong continued his act, pretending to be weak and collapsing onto Shu Ran.

Shu Ran couldn’t dodge in time, and Zhang Jingdong took the opportunity to embrace her shoulders tightly, even almost kissing her cheek.

Shu Ran’s fair cheeks instantly flushed with embarrassment, extending all the way to her ears.

But at this moment, she couldn’t exactly blow up at him, so she had to suppress her shame and said: ”You... I’ll take you to the hospital!”

”No need... I’ll just sit there for a while and rest!”

”Are you sure? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?”

”I’m good everywhere, it’s just my heart that hurts, mainly because I didn’t think you would be so ruthless to me!”

”I... I really wasn’t!”

Shu Ran innocently helped Zhang Jingdong over to the bench at the side of the court.

But Zhang Jingdong didn’t let go of her.

And Shu Ran, partly out of guilt and partly thinking he was really uncomfortable, allowed him to continue embracing her.

Their court was almost in the center, so many people passing by to the restroom or changing room would walk by this area.

And since Shu Ran was well-known as the big beauty of the club, almost everyone would slow down when passing by, sneaking peeks at the two.

Some men even stopped, unbelieving, stared for a while, and then left indignantly.

Zhang Jingdong internally reveled in it, while Shu Ran, due to her strong inner resolve, and also apparently accustomed to public attention, was alright.

Her only worry was about Ye Sijing, fearing she might appear at any time.

Although she had prepared an excuse, she knew that if Ye Sijing saw her being embraced by Zhang Jingdong like this, no matter how she explained it, Ye Sijing would definitely misunderstand.

So, she kept a close eye on Zhang Jingdong’s condition while constantly looking around for any sign of Ye Sijing.

But as the rule ”what you fear most, comes to pass” goes, Ye Sijing, who had never appeared during their game, showed up right then!

As soon as Shu Ran noticed, she tried to break free from Zhang Jingdong’s arm, but it was too late; Ye Sijing had clearly seen them.

So Shu Ran quickly waved at her: ”Sijin, come over and help, he’s injured. Let’s help him to the infirmary!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Sijing quickly ran over.

”What happened? Let me see!”
