Lin Xirui then said, ”Teacher Shu, thank you for looking after Ranran. She has always mentioned you, saying not only are your classes great but you’re also very beautiful. She’s always seen you as a role model. Meeting you today, you are indeed even more outstanding than I imagined!”

Shu Ran smiled lightly, ”You’re flattering me too much, I’m not as good as you say...”

”But rest assured, as Ranran’s teacher, it’s my duty to instruct her. Plus, Ranran is one of the best budding talents I’ve seen in recent years, so I’ll definitely teach her attentively.”

The two exchanged courtesies for a while, then Shu Ran couldn’t help but inevitably look towards Zhang Jingdong.

Although she really didn’t want to face him at that moment, she had, after all, taken him to her class before, and she had praised him during the class, so now that she had seen him, she couldn’t pretend not to recognize him. It would actually be weirder.

So, with a silent sigh of relief, she teased, ”Student Zhang Jingdong, it’s been quite a while since you’ve attended my class with Xiran. It seems you’re not that interested in folk dance?”

Zhang Jingdong laughed easily, ”Teacher Shu, it’s not that I’m not interested in folk dance, but rather I have many hobbies, quite mixed, and I never stick with anything for long.”

”Like last month I was more into dancing, and this month, I’m suddenly very into badminton.”

”But my interests are cyclical, so rest assured, one day I’ll definitely attend your class with Ranran again to listen to your instruction!”

Upon hearing this, Lin Xiran was okay, but Shen Xu and Lin Xirui were both a bit shocked.

Shen Xu was surprised at the way Shu Ran chatted with Zhang Jingdong, knowing her for many years, the exchange between Shu Ran and Zhang Jingdong was akin to the playful banter between couples.

Especially since there are so many sports, and Zhang Jingdong just so happened to mention badminton!

Of course, Shen Xu knew that Shu Ran played badminton every week, so at that moment, she even suspected that the two might have played badminton together.

Following this thought and looking at the way Zhang Jingdong was looking at Shu Ran, Shen Xu’s heart skipped a beat, feeling like she had stumbled upon some juicy gossip!

As for Lin Xirui, she was a little surprised that not only did Zhang Jingdong attend the class with Lin Xiran, but from what Shu Ran said, she seemed to value Zhang Jingdong’s talent in dancing as well.

Although Lin Xiran had told her before that Zhang Jingdong was also great at dancing, she never really believed it until now, and she couldn’t help but think about the magic trick Zhang Jingdong performed in the auditorium. For the first time, she was truly impressed by his talent.

However, Shu Ran didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to dare bring up badminton and instantly glared at him fiercely in her mind.

But now, she couldn’t make a fuss in front of Lin Xiran, so she had to just smile gracefully, ”Okay.”

Luckily, the elevator arrived at that moment, avoiding an awkward silence.

As the elevator doors opened, the five of them entered one after another.

Zhang Jingdong purposefully went in first, so he stood at the back row.

Shu Ran, upon entering and just by looking at his eyes, recognized this guy’s mischievous thoughts.

But she was helpless, as the elevator’s capacity was 1000 kg with an area of 2.4 square meters, she couldn’t avoid Zhang Jingdong’s gaze even if she tried.

All she could do was regret that game of Truth or Dare she played with Zhang Jingdong over and over again in her mind.

Of course, Zhang Jingdong took the opportunity to verify the true nature of that photo.

Finally, when Shu Ran turned slightly to the side, he was able to confirm that it was indeed black!

A satisfied smile immediately appeared on his face.

Two minutes later, the elevator finally reached the first floor.

As the elevator doors opened, the two parties said their goodbyes, and afterwards, Shu Ran and Shen Xu walked away.

Watching them walk away, Lin Xirui sighed, ”Ranran, your Teacher Shu really is so approachable, much better than the teachers at our school!”

Lin Xiran couldn’t help but feel a little proud, ”Can’t help it, such teachers are those rare celestial ones, hard to come by.”

Lin Xirui then shifted her gaze, ”You even brought him to class before?”

Lin Xiran’s face turned red, ”It just happened to be convenient that day, but I didn’t exaggerate to you before, did I? Jingdong really wowed everyone, even Teacher Shu praised him for having a great talent for dancing!”

Lin Xirui turned to Zhang Jingdong, ”It seems your talents really are quite diverse.”

Zhang Jingdong suddenly looked solemn, ”Some men are like water, clean, but easily seen through.”

”Some men are like tea, a bit bitter to taste, but withstand the test of time.”

”Some men are like wine, a bit spicy to taste, but intoxicating.”

The two waited for ten seconds, only to realize that Zhang Jingdong had no follow-up.

So Lin Xirui couldn’t help but ask, ”Which type do you consider yourself?”

Zhang Jingdong laughed easily, ”I’m a mix of all three, unfortunately, I’m just too versatile, can be sweet or salty, bitter or spicy, withstand the test of time and also be intoxicating.”

Lin Xirui immediately spat, ”Keep bragging and you’ll have killed all the bulls in the world!”

Zhang Jingdong touched his nose, ”Alright... it’s time for dinner, shall we go get something to eat?”

Lin Xirui knew that having received Zhang Jingdong’s favor earlier that afternoon, she was aware that his situation might be a little inconvenient with her present.

So understandingly, she said, ”You two go eat, I still have a design draft unfinished, I won’t play the third wheel!”
