Zhang Jingdong played with Lin Xirui’s delicate hand with his left hand and took out his cell phone with his right to call Lin Xiran.

”Sweetheart, come on down, we’re at your dorm building.”

”Okay!”

Soon, Lin Xiran was seen appearing at the entrance of the building. Zhang Jingdong still wouldn’t let go of his hand, and Lin Xirui became anxious: ”Let go of me!”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”Let me kiss you one more time and then I’ll let go!”

”You... you’re being too much!”

”I don’t care, if you don’t let me kiss you, then I’m never letting go!”

Seeing Lin Xiran walking over with a hesitant face, and Zhang Jingdong not looking like he was joking at all, Lin Xirui had no choice but to concede: ”You... you better make it quick.”

Zhang Jingdong immediately laughed with delight, gave Lin Xirui’s face a heavy kiss, and then contentedly opened the car door.

Lin Xiran saw Zhang Jingdong and Lin Xirui getting out of the black Land Rover Range Rover and was instantly stunned, mainly because she didn’t know that Zhang Jingdong had changed cars.

Lin Xirui thought she had detected something amiss and quickly explained, ”Ranran, we just ran into each other at the school gate, so that’s why I rode in his car...”

Lin Xiran immediately smiled sweetly: ”There’s nothing wrong with that. I wouldn’t be jealous even if Jingdong was picking you up at your school; after all, you are my dear sister!”

Lin Xirui was initially confused but then saw the mischievous smile on Lin Xiran’s lips and realized this girl was teasing her.

”You’ve been hanging out with him so much; you’re getting worse, and you even dare to joke with your sister!”

She went straight up and pinched Lin Xiran’s cheek.

Lin Xiran exaggeratedly cried ”Ouch” and then approached Zhang Jingdong.

Playfully said: ”Sweetheart, you’ve changed cars again?”

Zhang Jingdong enveloped her shoulders: ”Jealous, aren’t you? I told you before, once you get your driving license, I’ll immediately buy you a car with no price limit!”

Lin Xiran pouted: ”I went to learn with my sister before, but I just couldn’t learn it, and I almost crashed someone’s driving school car. However, my sister did manage to get her license.”

Zhang Jingdong turned his head to look at Lin Xirui: ”Is that so, no worries then, I’ll buy a car for your sister so that when you go to the company to shoot, you can always have a car at your disposal.”

Lin Xirui gave Zhang Jingdong an annoyed look: ”I don’t want a car from you; I’ll buy my own in the future!”

Zhang Jingdong curled his lip: ”I didn’t say it was a gift. It’s just a temporary loan. Besides, this is for Lin Xiran’s convenience, not yours!”

”You...”

Lin Xirui was about ready to explode with frustration at Zhang Jingdong.

Seeing the situation, Lin Xiran quickly came to the rescue: ”Sister, why don’t you just drive Jingdong’s old car for now? Taking a taxi at night is really not safe, as you’ve said yourself.”

”Last time, that taxi driver kept saying such annoying things, and if we meet someone ruder next time, it’ll be truly dangerous!”

Once Zhang Jingdong heard this, he promptly said: ”There’s such a thing, why didn’t you tell me earlier? Okay then, tomorrow morning I’ll take you both to pick up a car!”

Lin Xiran quickly gestured with her hand: ”No need, sweetheart, your previous car is fine; we just need it for a while.”

Zhang Jingdong affectionately stroked her head: ”You don’t worry about it; this is my compensation to you as a boss and a boyfriend. I’ve been too careless, I actually forgot that taking taxis is very dangerous for you two.”

”After all, it’s at night, and both of you are so pretty. If something were to happen, I’d have nowhere to regret!”

Seeing Zhang Jingdong was insistent, Lin Xiran nodded: ”Okay then, thanks, boss.”

Lin Xiran was about to say ”thanks, sweetheart” but then remembered and switched to ”boss,” knowing for sure she’d be ’punished’ by Zhang Jingdong otherwise.

However, Zhang Jingdong still openly kissed her pretty face in public.

Lin Xiran instantly blushed like an apple.

Zhang Jingdong then gave her a look.

Lin Xiran instantly knew what he meant, and then turned her pleading gaze to Lin Xirui: ”Sister...”

Although Lin Xirui really didn’t want to accept a car bought by Zhang Jingdong, firstly, she didn’t have enough money to buy one herself right now, and secondly, taking taxis at night back home was indeed very risky. If it was just her, it might be fine, but there was also Lin Xiran; she didn’t want her sister to feel frightened because of her.

Besides, Zhang Jingdong had also said that the car was just for her to use temporarily, and he was also the boss of her company.

Thinking of this, Lin Xirui pursed her lips: ”... Okay.”

Then she turned her gaze onto Zhang Jingdong: ”But don’t you dare buy something too expensive, in case something happens, I can’t afford to compensate!”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled: ”Don’t worry, I have your sister here to hold me accountable. Even if you sell it, I’m not going to make you compensate.”

”What are you talking about? I wouldn’t do such a thing!”

”Sister Rui, it’s just a joke, don’t take it seriously!”

Zhang Jingdong’s use of ”Sister Rui” made Lin Xirui’s expression instantly change from sunny to cloudy, and she glared at him: ”Who’s your sister!

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”True that, since you and Ranran are twins, you’re only a few hours older than her, and I’m older than Ranran by a year. Fine, then from now on let’s keep it simple, you can call me brother!”

On the way here, Lin Xirui had already been taken advantage of by this guy, and now he dared to take verbal advantage too. She seriously wanted to take a swing at him.

But considering Lin Xiran was present, she could only say resentfully: ”I can’t be bothered with you!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled, turned his head towards Lin Xiran: ”Sweetheart, when does your performance start?”
