Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 220: Chapter 141 Gained Yan Ning’s Favor (long Chapter, please subscribe)_3

”And since you’re not scoring those marks now, it means your approach to studying is not correct. Could you first explain how you study mathematics?”

Yan Zifeng blinked quickly: ”I start by learning the knowledge points from the textbook, then I do problems.”

”So what do you think is the problem with this study method?”

Yan Zifeng hesitated: ”Firstly, I think I’m not very familiar with those knowledge points, and then I can’t apply them when solving problems.”

”Secondly, it should be that I’ve done too few practice problems, and I haven’t reinforced the knowledge points that I had already mastered.”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong said, ”First off, your study method is the one most people use, but it is not suitable for everyone.”

”Moreover, if you want to improve your academic performance with this study method, you must spend a ton of time, which is simply not applicable given your current situation.”

”So, I plan to teach you another study method, which is to start with the exam questions and concentrate on those points.”

”Because in the college entrance examination math, many types of questions are fixed, as are the knowledge points they involve and even the solutions!”

”To put it broadly, let me give you an example directly, this way you’ll grasp it faster!”

”For example, the first big question is usually about sequences, geometry, or functions. Today, let’s get sequences cleared up...”

In the following hour, Zhang Jingdong systematically revised the knowledge points of sequences with Yan Zifeng through exam questions.

Firstly, Zhang Jingdong had just proposed a brand new study method, and secondly, Yan Zifeng knew Zhang Jingdong was his last lifeline, so he listened very attentively.

Additionally, people who have studied science know that students who are strong in comprehensive sciences generally are not too bad at math.

The reason why Yan Zifeng was an exception was something he had never shared with Yan Ning before—that he greatly disliked their math teacher.

The reason being, during his second year in high school, he witnessed their math teacher taking advantage of a girl in the office, and he intervened heroically to save the girl.

He later reported it to the school, but because the teacher was a distinguished instructor, who had led classes to top scores in math for several years, the issue was ultimately dismissed.

Since then, his math teacher often gave him a hard time, and he never listened attentively in math class anymore.

As Zhang Jingdong previously mentioned, he was actually smart and capable.

Furthermore, Zhang Jingdong’s current teaching ability was equivalent to that of a national-level instructor, so Yan Zifeng understood everything clearly and even remembered it all.

Zhang Jingdong then said, ”To test your comprehension, I’ll now give you two problems to solve.”

While speaking, Zhang Jingdong casually picked up a book of math simulation exercises from the table, quickly flipped through it, and selected two problems for him.

Yan Zifeng took the exam paper and quickly started working on it.

Ten minutes later, Yan Zifeng put down his pen.

Zhang Jingdong was slightly surprised: ”You’re done?”

”Yes.”

Zhang Jingdong took the paper, quickly checked the answers, then said with a surprised look, ”You little rascal, you actually got them all right!”

”Were you just messing with me before? You don’t seem like someone who is weak in math. Or is it that my teaching is just too good, and you got it all in one go?”

At this moment Yan Zifeng was also a bit excited: ”Mr. Zhang, I think on one hand, you teach very well, and on the other hand, I actually never studied math properly before because...”

Yan Zifeng hesitated for a moment, then shared his issue with the math teacher.

After listening, Zhang Jingdong was a bit stunned at first, as he had only heard of such incidents in news before, but never expected it to actually happen to Yan Zifeng.

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong didn’t respond after listening, Yan Zifeng instantly regretted it, worried that he might be seen as someone who liked fighting.

At this point, Zhang Jingdong said: ”You did the right thing, but the specific details were a bit rough. Let me teach you, next time you encounter such a situation, you must first use your phone to capture footage of your math teacher doing wrong, use that as leverage, then act. Even if you break his teeth, he’ll have to claim it was an accident where he hit a wall!”

”That way, you don’t have to fear him, and you can completely control him. He is a distinguished teacher after all, why not directly have him tutor you at home... Wouldn’t that be a great outcome?”

After hearing this, Yan Zifeng was first stunned, then his face lit up with admiration: ”Mr. Zhang, your move is brilliant, I’m truly impressed, I’ll definitely use your method if such a thing happens again!”

Seeing how much Yan Zifeng admired him at this moment, and given that today’s lesson had gone well and confirmed that the kid actually learned math quickly,

Zhang Jingdong then said, ”You’re impressed just by this? Earlier when I came in, you asked if I liked Bruce Lee, now I ask you, to what extent do you like Bruce Lee?”

When Yan Zifeng heard Zhang Jingdong bring up Bruce Lee, his enthusiasm immediately soared: ”I’ve watched every one of his movies and am familiar with every martial arts move he made!”

”Not only do I watch, but I also practice, and now I can say I’ve mastered almost 80% of his prowess, I’m undefeated in our school.”

Zhang Jingdong touched his nose: ”Really? Then come with me...”
