Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 224: Chapter 142 Wedding Night (Long Chapter, Please Subscribe)_3

After breakfast, Zhang Jingdong rested with Chen Lu for a while before they went downstairs.

He first picked up Lin Xiran from the arts college, then went to the normal university to pick up Lin Xirui, and finally brought them both to the Porsche 4S shop on South Wind Road.

Yesterday, while chatting with the sisters, Zhang Jingdong wanted to make it easier for them to accept, so he originally intended to buy a Beetle for them.

But on his way to pick up Lin Xiran from the arts college, he changed his mind.

Because the Beetle was too cheap, given the current speed at which Lin Xirui was earning money from advertisements, she could buy one herself in less than a year. So even if he bought her a car, she still wouldn’t feel like she had spent her own money.

But if he bought her a Porsche, she likely wouldn’t be able to make enough money to afford it within three to five years, and also because maintaining such a car would cost quite a bit every year, he would then have the perfect excuse to give her money.

As a tycoon, one important step in quickly conquering a woman is to find ways to spend money on her.

She may not be a materialistic woman, but because she would be using your money, she would gradually and automatically overlook your flaws and infinitely magnify your merits during the process of interacting with you.

Just this point alone could greatly accelerate the speed at which you win her over.

Additionally, buying them a luxury car had another very important reason - which was to ensure their safety.

After all, at any time, no one would dare to easily provoke someone driving a Porsche.

The three of them got out of the car, and Lin Xirui glanced at the large Porsche sign outside the building, her brows slightly furrowed: ”This is Porsche, isn’t it? Didn’t you say you were going to buy something cheap? Why did you bring us here...”

”No, no, this is too expensive here, even the cheapest one would cost several hundred thousand. I can’t afford to drive that!”

Upon hearing this, Lin Xiran also looked troubled: ”Jingdong, this car is too expensive. Let’s change to another brand?”

Since Zhang Jingdong dared to bring them here, of course, he had already thought of excuses in advance, and immediately said: ”Three points. First, this car is for you to drive temporarily. In the future when you earn money, you can buy your own car, so essentially, the car we’re buying now is actually mine.”

”Think about it, what’s our status? If we buy a cheap car, I definitely won’t drive it in the future. That would be as good as throwing it away, so it would actually be a waste.”

”Second, it’s for your safety.”

”If you drive a normal car, you might be harassed, but if you’re driving a Porsche, I can guarantee that under normal circumstances, nobody would dare to mess with you.”

”The third point, buying this car is to motivate you to be ambitious, especially Lin Xirui.”

There’s a saying, ’It’s easy to go from frugality to luxury, but difficult to go from luxury to frugality.’ Once you’re accustomed to driving a luxury car, you’ll be unable to drive an ordinary car. Not because of your driving skills, but because of the privileges that come with driving a nice car, and then you’ll double your efforts to make money so that you can always drive a luxury car.”

Speaking to this point, Zhang Jingdong looked at Lin Xirui meaningfully: ”How about it, Lin Xirui, aren’t you very confident in your business? Are you brave enough to give it a try?”

Lin Xirui thought about it seriously, then gracefully nodded: ”Okay, then let’s go with this brand!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately gave her a thumbs-up: ”Worthy of being the older sister, truly spirited. Let’s go!”

The three of them then entered the 4S shop.

The approaching saleswoman was first stunned by the beauty of the twin sisters, Lin Xiran and Lin Xirui, and instantly classified the three of them as VIP customers.

Just kidding, how could anyone who managed to charm such a pair of stunning twin sisters be an ordinary person.

”Welcome to our Porsche South Wind store...”

Zhang Jingdong directly interrupted: ”Do you have a Porsche 911 in stock at your store right now?”

Upon hearing this, the saleswoman’s conviction firmed up even more, and she quickly said, ”Yes, yes, yes, please follow me...”

The three followed her for about ten meters when a sleek red Porsche 911 suddenly appeared on a display not too far away.

Zhang Jingdong vaguely remembered that in his past life he had seen a short video where they ranked cars that could be considered works of art, and Porsche 911 was rated fifth.

Now, after truly admiring it for a minute, Zhang Jingdong thought the car blogger had pretty good taste.

Especially for a car suitable for women to drive, he felt that this car’s aesthetic really deserved a top-five spot.

He then turned to look at the Lin sisters; at this moment, their gazes resembled those of many girls when they see those pretty designer handbags.

There was no longer any resistance or hesitation from before downstairs, only full of admiration, and even obsession.

So he asked knowingly: ”What do you think of this car?”

Lin Xiran exclaimed admiringly, ”This car is truly beautiful, just like a piece of art!”

Lin Xirui also couldn’t help but nod: ”I think it’s nice, too.”

”Okay, let’s take this car.” Zhang Jingdong then turned to the saleswoman and said, ”I’ll take this car, let’s proceed with the paperwork.”

The saleswoman had sensed that they were likely to close a deal when she first saw the three of them, but she didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to be so decisive; she hadn’t even started her pitch, and he had already agreed to buy.

Suppressing her excitement, she smiled sweetly: ”Alright, please come this way!”

The three followed her to the customer lounge.

In the next half hour or so, they finalized the car purchase contract and went across to the bank to complete the transaction.

Although Lin Xiran and Lin Xirui both guessed the car was expensive, they were still genuinely shocked when they learned it cost over two million!

And if before, due to Zhang Jingdong’s Lamborghini and the current Land Rover, they were already convinced of Zhang Jingdong’s strong financial power, now that they saw him buying a car worth two million for them, they were utterly smitten with him.

Lin Xiran, needless to say, already saw Zhang Jingdong as her true soulmate.

And Lin Xirui also completely let go of her previous hesitations and unease, fully accepting Zhang Jingdong in her heart.

After leaving the bank, the familiar electronic voice echoed again in Zhang Jingdong’s mind.

”Congratulations, Host, for gaining 10 goodwill points from the target person, and a reward of 20,000 yuan!”

”Congratulations, Host, for gaining 20 goodwill points from the target person, and a reward of 1,000,000 yuan!”

Zhang Jingdong knew that these 20 goodwill points must have come from Lin Xirui and he glanced at her instinctively.

And this time, Lin Xirui did not dodge his gaze just because Lin Xiran was there but returned him a look that mixed shyness and joy.
