Chapter 228: Chapter 144: Have them all come over then? (Large Chapter, please subscribe)

At this moment, there were already forty to fifty staff members gathered in front of the bar on the first floor.

Zhang Jingdong briefly scanned the crowd and felt that the quality of the female staff was quite good; he then gave Wang Tao an approving look.

Wang Tao immediately felt relieved.

He had personally handpicked these female staff members, and their pay was almost double that of the average service staff in other bars.

He had been a bit worried that Zhang Jingdong might think this would increase the operation costs of the bar, but now, seeing his look, Wang Tao was instantly sure that Zhang Jingdong was indeed an expert in running bars.

At the same time, he added some points to his boss in his heart.

He then stepped forward to introduce: ”This is our The one bar’s real big boss now, let’s welcome Boss Zhang with applause and hear a few words from him!”

As soon as he finished speaking, all the staff members immediately started applauding enthusiastically, while also sizing up the exceptionally beautiful women accompanying the new boss.

Then, very soon, the male staff members’ looks were filled with envy and admiration when looking at Zhang Jingdong.

And the female staff members all felt somewhat inferior.

Among them, a few who considered themselves good-looking and well-figured had originally wanted to find an opportunity to have some deep exchanges with the new boss, hoping for a chance to rise in the ranks, but upon seeing Lin Xiran and her twin sister, Lin Xirui, their hopes vanished instantly.

No way around it, these girls working in the nightlife knew that a boss who was used to fine dining like him would definitely not consider someone like them.

While Zhang Jingdong wasn’t used to giving speeches to the employees, he knew Wang Tao meant well and that it was to show his loyalty and let everyone know that he was the real boss here.

Secondly, he had actually accumulated some experience in this area from running a restaurant before.

So after a short pause, he said, ”I, as a boss, only do three things.”

”First, make our bar the best nightlife spot in Jiangdu, so when you guys are asked where you work, you can proudly state the name of our bar.”

”Second, I want every one of you to earn money. I can assure you right now that as long as you continue to work in our bar, your salary will increase every year, by at least 200 yuan per month, and at the end of the year, you will also receive a bonus from the bar, not less than one month’s salary.”

When the staff heard Zhang Jingdong’s first point, they thought the new boss liked to boast and wondered who would believe that!

But when Zhang Jingdong finished the second point, they instantly felt that their new boss was truly a great representative of a good Huaxia boss, so generous and caring, speaking directly with salary increases, tsk tsk, the boss is simply too cool!

”Third, maintain the long-term healthy operation of our bar. Only if our bar keeps thriving can you all continue to make money.”

”So I want to say, I will definitely not treat any of you unfairly, but I also hope that each one of you can truly dedicate yourselves to our bar as your personal career, exert all your efforts, and go all out!”

”If you do well, I will definitely reward you heavily, but if anyone takes a high salary and doesn’t do their job properly, I’m sorry, but I won’t care who brought you in and will directly let you go!”

”I’ve always been one to make things clear beforehand, therefore, have you all understood what I’ve said?”

Upon hearing this, all the employees were certain that their new boss was generous yet had effective methods, and they understood that only such a boss could truly run the business well.

Everyone is willing to follow a lion-like person, because only by following such a person can there be a continued supply of meat.

So, at this moment, everyone shouted in unison, ”Understood!”

Wang Tao and Liu Zongheng saw this, exchanged a look, and both nodded, clearly thoroughly convinced by Zhang Jingdong.

Lin Xiran and Lin Xirui were also feeling for the first time the domineering presence of Zhang Jingdong as a boss, which caused their goodwill towards him to increase a bit more.

”Congratulations, Host, for gaining 10 points of goodwill from the target character, rewarded with 20,000 yuan!”

”Congratulations, Host, for gaining 10 points of goodwill from the target character, rewarded with 20,000 yuan!”

Zhang Jingdong’s heart stirred, and he casually said, ”All right, you guys go busy yourselves.”

As he watched everyone disperse, Zhang Jingdong turned to Lin Xiran and her sister and asked, ”Have you two ever been to a bar before?”

Lin Xiran shook her head, ”No.”

Lin Xirui nodded, ”I’ve been once with my dorm mates.”

”Not bad for the older sister, I see...”

Zhang Jingdong didn’t mind Lin Xirui’s rolling eyes and continued, ”Our bar is opening in the next couple of days. Get familiar with it, and oh, you can also try some of the cocktails here. Our President Wang studied abroad in the Beautiful Country, so our cocktails here are definitely authentic!”

Wang Tao quickly chimed in, ”The bartenders here were personally recruited by me, their skills are indeed top-notch. You two should give it a try!”

Lin Xiran knew Zhang Jingdong wanted to discuss important matters with them, and she liked what Zhang Jingdong had just said about ”our bar,” as well as the way Wang Tao was addressing them now.

She promptly said with easy grace, ”Okay, you talk, we’ll go have a taste!”
