Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 68: Chapter 68: Sports Cars are Suitable for Picking Up Girls (Seeking Follow-Up Reads, Fans)

The three chatted for a while longer until Zhang Jingdong found the right moment to excuse himself, ”Alright, that’s settled then. You two keep shopping, I’ve got things to do, I’ll be off now, goodbye!”

Lin Xiran waved him off somewhat reluctantly, ”Goodbye.”

As she watched Zhang Jingdong leave the store, Lin Xiran still didn’t take her eyes off him.

Lin Xirui couldn’t help but say at this point, ”Stop dreaming about him; he’s obviously the playboy type, not suitable for you!”

Lin Xiran uncommonly retorted, ”Sis, I just want to date, I’m not rushing into marriage with him!”

”Do you really want to date that badly?” Lin Xirui felt somewhat speechless.

Lin Xiran sighed, ”Sis, I’m nearly a sophomore now. My life is just so boring; it’s just classes, then the cafeteria, and then back to the dorm to sleep.”

”Just the thought of enduring this routine for another three years makes me want to die!”

”Besides, all the other girls in the dorm have boyfriends, except for me. Sis, at this rate, my prime dating years will be over!”

”But you can’t just casually start dating someone, can you?”

”I’m not!” Lin Xiran pouted, ”I’ve been strictly following your advice, turning down all those messy rich second-generation guys who pursued me.”

Lin Xirui hesitated and then asked, ”So why would you fall for him?”

”I’m not falling for him...” Lin Xiran shrugged, ”I just think he’s different from those rich second-generation guys I’ve met before. Despite wearing name brands, he doesn’t show off.”

”Plus, he’s funny when he speaks and handles matters appropriately. Importantly, there’s something special about his eyes... How should I put it? He looks about our age, but his eyes seem to have experienced the vicissitudes of life.”

”He also owns his own company, obviously very competent, and he’s handsome... So if he pursues me, I might give him a chance.”

”Sis, I’m reporting in advance to you!”

Lin Xirui sighed, ”But what if he just wants to play around with you?”

Lin Xiran revealed a hint of peculiar brilliance in her eyes, ”Sis, let’s be realistic. With our conditions, how many men daring to chase us are really intending to marry us just from dating?”

”Our own requirements have also essentially screened out most of the men willing to be faithful in love. How many rich and handsome men of the world can remain faithful?”

”So I’ve thought it over, I want to find an interesting man and experience an intense romance first, and we can talk about the rest later.”

Seeing Lin Xirui still slightly frowning, Lin Xiran earnestly said, ”Sis, I advise you not to be too stubborn, or you might waste the best part of our college years!”

Lin Xirui gave her a look, ”Thinking about romance all day long like you is the real waste of time. I think us girls should first secure our economic foundation, then we can confidently seek a steadfast love!”

”Otherwise, no matter how beautiful we are, we’ll eventually become just appendages to those men!”

However, seeing Lin Xiran pouting with a pitiful look, she ultimately softened a bit.

”Alright, let’s each strive in our own ways; if those men can’t be relied on later, at the very worst, I’ll support you, okay?”

Lin Xiran immediately brightened up, ”Sis, I knew you’re the best to me!”

...

After leaving New Century Department Store, Zhang Jingdong first drove to the rental car shop he had used before to return the Honda Accord, then took a taxi to the luxury car dealership on Xinkai Road.

Before meeting the Lin sisters, he thought he could manage with the Audi A6 he had bought for another six months to a year.

But now, he felt that while the Audi A6 was appropriate for business, it seemed somewhat unfit for pursuing top beauties like the Lin sisters.

Therefore, he wanted to buy a Lamborghini Gallardo, also known colloquially as the ”Baby Bull.”

This choice was made because, in his past life, he had seen a live stream where someone had conducted an experiment on picking up girls using ordinary luxury cars versus using the ”Baby Bull.”

As a result, driving a general luxury car, the girl seemed somewhat disdainful, although she agreed to a date, but in the end, she found an excuse to leave early.

Driving a Lamborghini, on the other hand, the girl took the initiative to ask to go to a hotel room.

Zhang Jingdong felt that although this live broadcast seemed scripted, it still held some truth to it.

After all, at the entrance of a nightclub, faced with the choice between an Audi A6 and a Lamborghini, any girl who wasn’t too drunk would probably choose the latter.

There are no dedicated Lamborghini 4S stores in Huaxia, it’s mostly sold through various dealerships.

As soon as Zhang Jingdong entered the showroom, a beautiful female salesperson came to greet him; while her looks were slightly inferior to Chen Lu’s, she still scored at least an 85.

”Good day, sir, welcome to the House of Luxury Cars, I’m the sales consultant Lin Han, it’s a pleasure to serve you!”

Zhang Jingdong nodded in response and then went straight to the point, ”Do you have a Lamborghini Gallardo in stock?”

Lin Han felt a stir in her heart, ”We happen to have one here, and it’s the top-end model, you can come take a look!”

Zhang Jingdong was somewhat surprised, ”Great.”

He then followed her for about ten meters.

Then a bright orange Lamborghini Gallardo suddenly appeared before his eyes!

Compared to sports cars of other brands, Lamborghinis have always been the most distinctive presence, with their sharp edges, their speed, their unconventionality, their various legends...

The moment Zhang Jingdong laid eyes on it, a nameless excitement surged in his heart.

Just like love at first sight with a woman, the same can happen with cars.

Sometimes, with just a glance, you know it will become your ride.

Although the orange Lamborghini standing quietly there, Zhang Jingdong could feel that it had the spirit of a wild bull in its bones.

He could even hear the relentless roaring coming from its heart, as if it were calling out to him, to drive it and conquer the world!

Lin Han noticed the unusual look in Zhang Jingdong’s eyes and began to introduce the car, ”This Gallardo is equipped with a V10 engine, with a top speed of 309 kilometers per hour...”

Zhang Jingdong only listened to a few sentences before he abruptly asked, ”All things considered for this car... how much?”

Upon hearing these words, Lin Han immediately realized that she was dealing with the so-called super-rich second generation, whose word when buying cars is—quick!

She promptly said, ”The official price for this model is currently 2.98 million, but the lowest I can offer you is 2.92 million!”

Zhang Jingdong thought it over and nodded, ”Good, let’s do that.”

Lin Han found she had underestimated the straightforwardness of this super-rich second generation; she was stunned for two seconds before finally responding, ”Alright, alright... Please follow me!”

They then finalized the car purchase contract, and Zhang Jingdong paid in full.

Lin Han said, ”Sir, please wait for a moment, we will arrange for your temporary license plate. Then you can either leave an address with me to mail the plates and documents later, or you can come to pick them up yourself later.”

Zhang Jingdong thought for a moment, then gave her the address of Spring Breeze Garden.

Over the next hour or so, Zhang Jingdong first sorted out the insurance, and after that, Lin Han kept him company, chatting for a while and throwing him quite a few meaningful glances.

Zhang Jingdong knew that if he took a bit of initiative, he could probably enjoy her fragrance tonight.

But for one, he didn’t want to ride in such a high-class ’special car’, knowing that she must have entertained quite a few guests, and there was some risk in terms of safety.

Secondly, he had other plans for the evening, so he forcefully resisted the urge.

At this moment, Lin Han’s phone rang. After answering the call, she said to Zhang Jingdong, ”The temporary license has been arranged, and your car is outside. Let’s go.”

Zhang Jingdong instantly became excited again, ”Alright!”
